Vilien Posted September 10, 2009 Report Share Posted September 10, 2009 An Announcement: Exactly three months, three hours, and ten minutes ago, the Moralist Front sprung forward into Cybernations. Its first proclamation, coupled with its declaration of existence, was Resolution #1. Resolution #1 declared the Moldavi Doctrine to be null and void. It was one man, tiny, powerless, and insignificant, against a falling giant. On June 10th, such a challenge seemed almost reasonable. It was almost seen as probable that such things might come to pass. Three days later, the Moldavi Doctrine was officially rescinded. Resolution #1 was written in the midst of a violent and incomparably destructive revolution, one that changed the way that we think about everything. For a few months, anything seemed possible. The Moralist Front was a Congress founded for two purposes. Primarily, it was intended to unify the many facets of Moralism, an ideology at the center of the lead-up to the Karma War. In turn, it was supposed to result in the founding of an alliance dedicated to those principles. The Moralist Front is still that same Congress. Despite an un-winnable war, countless instances balancing on the brink of other wars, and numerous merger offers, we remain. We have grown ever so slightly. An alliance of one has become an alliance of six. We are no more imposing, and no more striking on the world stage. But we have gained five active, dedicated members. They are precisely the kind of people that I dreamed would be a part of the Moralist Front. They are new and in-experienced, but ambitious and hungry to learn. I thank them for giving our dream a chance. We are an introspective bunch. But today we share our celebration with you. We celebrate our relative success, our good fortune in finding friends abroad, and our survival. But we celebrate so much more. The ideals of Moralism still resonate among the many of Cybernations. Self-determination and Liberty have prevailed, for the moment, against the forces of Tyranny and Deceit. We celebrate these small victories, and look forward to greater ones in the future. Thank you all for coming along for the ride with us. We remain Unbent, Unbowed, and Unbroken!
