King Kevz
We empathize with the peaceful intentions of Pax Pacis. We do not wish for a war either. But who shall guarantee that Yamato shall not embark on a similar adventure in the future? Each time the world gives them breathing space they get more and more aggressive. "Here is a possible solution then. With the government of Yamato's permission a small detachment of Pax Pacis peace keepers will maintain a permanent garrison within the Yamato capital city not to occupy but to provide a place for both them and us to discuss any issues that arise". Sargun II
"What we need is people to STOP being warmongers for five seconds and think about the consequences of their actions."Pax Pacis seems to be the only nation who understands what we are saying--that at no time did we ever condone Yamato's recognition of war, only that they did have a right to be offended. there are other ways to display that you are offended. cut off dimplomatic relations, sanctions, etc." "Nobody gives a damn if they had a right to be offended - everyone knows that. You seem to be forgetting that Yamato declared war and has threatened the lives of millions of civilians and then had the nerve to attempt to extort land from Lu. Lu did the correct thing in recognizing the state of war - that you are so naive to believe that by ignoring it all and wishing it will go away will work is troubling." "At no point did I suggest we ignore it. The offer for talks are obviously still open. And Yamato never outright declared war, stating only that they 'recognize a state of war.' And since then they have backed down, as we have already stated. We wonder if, perhaps, Artemis has ulterior motives for wanting war? Oh, wait, they are mercenaries. That might explain it." There are no insurance policies to be paid for - the hiring company pays a rate depending on the numbers and duration. We've already been paid to send men over here. Whether or not they see action doesn't give us money. At this point, war would hurt our profits. Ad hominem attack fail."

The longer this situation exists, the more you are paid. Are we mistaken?"

A cold war threatening to go hot at any moment is the best situation for them, they get paid but don't have to fight. It's clear that this COMPANY thinks it can shout and scream in international politics like it's a nation. They cannot declare war, they cannot do anything of their own, they have to follow the laws of each country they are in. They are a corporation, not a nation, why even bother negotiating with them?"-Anita Personen. Edited July 6, 2009 by BaronUberstein
