comrade nikonov
Heh... the Pacific is closed by Yamato and Palintine. We have no problem with it, though, we treat it as a inland lake. You only own your territorial waters (4km out). Everything else has long been and will remain NPR waters that you will have access through. Keep in mind all military ships must have a beacon. Sir Keshav IV
Ha, Yamato is our ally, we are not worried about that too much.
comrade nikonov
The NPR retracts its signature pending a new cartographic proposal. We propose that the southern districts of Shandong be transferred to the PRC instead, so that the PRC will have direct access to the East China sea, part of the Pacific, without having to traverse the Bohai. Maelstrom Vortex
"Yamato's relations to us are what they chose them to be. We would like a united Asia, but restricting the shipping lanes of our states isn't very conducive of such. Perhaps we will be able to solve some of that when it comes to negotiations over the Mongolian protectorate region." "I am afraid the deal is done struck. Any changes would have to be purely with the ascent of the PRC, if that is what they wish.." comrade nikonov
Green is PRC and Blue is NPR. We find this the best course of action.
comrade nikonov
This was a mapmaking mistake that was not addressed. The cartographical society of the NPR has been rounded up and shot.
Maelstrom Vortex
"It looks good, but again, this is all now in the PRC's hands. I wish to note, the NPR does not have authorization to use force from the Triumvirate if the offer is declined as we already have a signed agreement." hawk11
The Elective Dictatorship of Palintine will contact your respective governments at a later date regarding passage out to the Pacific. We're looking for a solution that benefits the region as a whole, not just ourselves. Edited June 12, 2009 by hawk_11

Sumeragi
It seems some still do not understand that civilian ships may pass through our waters freely. We are only closing our waters to military ships.
Maelstrom Vortex
"Yes, Yamato, but you don't seem to realize restricting traffic still makes people nervous. They don't get the motives where most nations don't really care long as whatever sails past them isn't directed at them. Anyhow, there's another part of this protectorate to be discussed. We still would like to see some maps of your intent in Mongolia, noting Cochin already has a partial claim to the region that is non-negotiable, this is only regarding the protectorate portions." Sumeragi
We were considering a Yamato-PRC condominium. The two natios will decide the region's future at a later date. OOC: Going to be inactive for two days, hence the later date.
Maelstrom Vortex
"Sorry, that can't be done, but we will postpone the talks for a while til you can participate again. It will remain a Dragon Empire protectorate until that time has lapsed. These talks are adjourned until Yamato can return to the table. They need only notify us of the return." Sumeragi
OOC: I'll be back after 19 hours. Can I have the current map of what is agreed upon? Also, I would like a hold on Ulan batoor.
king of cochin
Currently Kingdom of Cochin owns bayan olgii, uvs, khovd, zavkhan and govi altai provinces. We additionally claim khavsgol, arkhangai, bayankhogor, ovorkhangel, bulgan and omnogovi provinces. We have no objection if Yamato claims dornod, khentii, sukhbaatar, dornogovi, dundgovi, selenge and tov province which contains ulan batar. We hope Yamato is agreeable to this. king of cochin
The areas I have claimed in Mongolia will be maintained as a Cochin Protectorate till a new and stable government claims for it. OOC: The protectorate shall be maintained for new RP players to claim.

king of cochin
That area was a Comintern Protectorate. Yamato had some interests regarding Mongolian territory. Since I too border Mongolia I stated my case.

Sir Keshav IV
"As you can see Chairman Vortex, our transport lines cannot reach central china because it is covered by NPR.
