State of the Alliance

This week the membership numbers for the Siberian Tiger Alliance have dropped slightly to 186 as the recruitment freeze continues. Our total nation strength and average nation strength have risen to just over 3 million and approximately 16500 respectively.

In domestic news Rakari has stood down as a member of the Consilium Tigris due to issues from the other realm preventing her from dedicating enough time to her role. Jyrinx has been promoted from the Siberian Guard and now looks after the Admissions portfolio as part of the Consilium Tigris. The leadership and members of the Siberian Tiger Alliance thank Rakari for her efforts in her role with the Consilium Tigris and are pleased that she will remain on as a member of the alliance.

The promotion of Jyrinx created a vacancy in the Siberian Guard which was filled by the appointment of Otto Verteidiger. Otto has assisted the alliance by working in the Tech Department and will be an excellent addition to the Siberian Guard team.

In Siberian Trophy news it is again close at the top with Uhtred’s Bamburgh FC moving to the top of the table after FC Tigris Altaica stumbled away to The Rabbs. Batch is a point behind Bamburgh with FC Tigris Altaica a further point back. The Rabbs are an outside chance a further 3 points behind. The relegation positions look all but settled with manager inactivity seeing Fior Eire and Cidduh Blues 6 points clear of safety with three games left to play.

In the Cup division it is a three horse race for two promotion places. Jarkko’s Zavod Ural Solikamsk is a point clear of KingPenchuk’s Proxian FC with Lysotine’s Los Banditos a further three points back in third.

Diplomatically, it has been a big week for the Siberian Tiger Alliance with the announcement of the Frostbite bloc treaty. While the idea of such a bloc had been bounced around unofficially for some time it was only seriously considered during the past week and was quickly agreed upon by the signatory alliances. The Siberian Tiger Alliance looks forward to working closely with our new bloc partners.

In military news the Siberian Tiger Alliance has been relatively quiet. The only issues were a member illegally raiding a white team nation and a member raiding without a license. The former refused to comply with requests to end his raid and offer reparations and decided instead to leave the alliance. In doing so, this nation was required to repay aid received recently but again refused and has been attacked by our tiger cubs to claw back the aid militarily. The latter also decided to ignore requests to end his war and offer reparations and was subsequently expelled from the alliance.

Overall, this week has been one of internal growth and the expansion of the diplomatic presence of the Siberian Tiger Alliance via the formation of Frostbite. We again look forward to increasing our average nation strength and total nations strength as we sit on the brink of entering the Great Sanction Race.

Za Sibir’!

Za Sibir'!

You got a lot done this week. And yes, Penchuk and I have every intention of both getting promoted. Who actually wins the division won't be decided until the last game of the season. And even there, it will be "may the best team win, then both teams go to the pub together for a round" football.

This guy was a gimp anyway. Ah well, your Cubs showed him why a group of Tigers is called an "ambush." :war: o/
