THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

AZERBAIJANI REPUBLIC

We accept your offer, and your apologies, tought we were never insulted by the White Cross, we just want to rebuild our country without the help of the enemy. I hope your attempt will work, this may be one of the last messages as President.

Signed, the President of the Azerbaijani Republic

President Iham Aliyev

Meanwhile, in Armenia, Nakichevan and Talyshtan

The Riots that are plunging Baku into chaos are spreading throughout Azerbaijan and have the political establishment extremely worried. The riots began few hours ago when women, men and student groups took to the street protesting the occupation. The riots soon became much more than that. General dissatisfaction over the occupation as well as anger over the recent bombings has kept the situation brewing. Now it seems that youth throughout Azerbaijan are merely waiting for something to ignite their anger and bring the Baku protest to regional capitals trough the Republic.

‘We are the oppressed people too: We stand together with our Azeri brothers’ one Armenian student told us in the heart of Yerevan. This refers to the common complaint by Azeris that they are destined destined to rely on foreign aids. ‘We are with the people of Baku in spirit and action’ shouts a student activist in Nakichevan City. ‘We will not stand by as the Republic is sacrificed to the gods of the nords: we will fight.’ He continues his war cry. ‘The fire that burns in Baku will come to the streets of Lankaran!’ shouts a student organiser in Talyshtan. It appears only a matter of time until the citizens of Talyshtan and Armenia use the Azerbaijani revolt in Baku to ignite a fire that will spread throughout the country in protest of occupation that don’t seem to give up.

Director Hiley issued a simple verdict:

You want a war? Damnit, you'll get one.

---

/classified

The "conventional weapons" that had been dropped by the soldiers only hours earlier were being picked up in earnest. Any civilians found carry weapons were forcefully disarmed, shackled and sent to a prison camp on the east coast where they were to be shuffled onto airplanes and boats. Any civilians found firing weapons at Artemis soldiers were to be shot at, no exceptions. Any civilians found with any sort of non-firearm weapon is to be detained and interrogated harshly. All government workers are enemies of the state and any members of the police force and military are fair game.

To: The Chief Executive Officer of Artemis Corporation

From: The Desk of Sarah Tintagyl, Lady Protector of the Hanseatic Commonwealth

Esteemed Sir,

Artemis' recent endeavors in Azerbaijan have been abysmal at best and yet your troops continue to destabilize the region under the pretense of peace and tranquility and most of all, aid. I do not believe we have talked about a merging of our organizations, the Hansa as you already know I am sure, is very involved in the workings of the White Cross. These people that you are coercing to follow your law and regulations have suffered through various trials and tribulations due to the recent war in Europe, they do not need the further destabilization of the region by a foreign company.

I know that you hold my country in high respect and I yours, therefore I plead that you leave the country immediately so that the rebellion will cease. I have spoken with their President and the only thing that is keeping this region from stability is you. Do not worry about the delivering of aid as well. The White Cross is already deployed throughout Europe and we can bring more individuals to help, however Artemis should withdraw to prevent further conflict. Please listen to my words, the world is still recovering, we cannot even begin to fathom suffering when so much death has already taken place.

Sincerely,

Sarah Tintagyl

Lady Protector of the Hanseatic Commonwealth

I wonder why Artemis, as a company, is still not removing itself from the Azerbaijani Republic. They do not want you there. They are costing you hundreds of thousands, if not millions in war materials and resources. They will not even accept your rule.

There is no gain, only loss in this scenerio. The best choice is the leave; they will still get aid from other sources.

From an uncomfirmed transmission within Diberia. The voice was deep and strong.

For the first time since the agitation in Baku started, the Army opened fire on Artemis troops when they tried to arrest civilians and reoccupy the Capital. Mass protests continued as the troops and a few Hind-D helicopters reinforced the rebels attempting to keep Artemis Group military out of the Capital City. The troops fired on Artemis soldiers in southern Baku as their opened fire on Azeri civilians protesting against the occupation. 67 were killed while 170 others were injured when they tried to disrupt an Army convoy escorting the supplies to the Volounteer, a top police official told DailyNews.Az.

Later the protesters placed new barricades and were supplied by the Army to prevent the enemy from entering the Capital. RPG shots hit Artemis positions, witnesses report. Similar protests were witnessed in Yerevan as the people blocked the highway and the main entrances to the city. Protesters mobilised people from the rural areas of Lankaran and Nakichevan City and marched to the urban areas branding petrol bombs and molotov $@tails, all Artemis divisions are being attacked by angry mobs, hit and run guerrilla tactics from the undisclosed alley ways and undeground service tunnels well known to the citizens. The police is also partecipating in the fights, while the emergency service reports the hospital of Baku is reaching the collapse.

The protesters attacked another foreign bank, accused of financing the Russo-Nordic war. The rail connection with Baku was compromised by the Rebels, who are re-organized into movements and communes. Agency reports said that life in Baku was thrown out of gear following the rebellion. Shops, business establishments, schools, government and private offices remained closed across the Capital, official sources said. Vehicles also remained off the roads, but T-72 tanks waving the Azeri flags have been reported moving from the Center of Baku to reinforce the suburbs. The Azeri Police, which is spearheading the ongoing agitation in Baku, has rejected any deal with the enemy “We have received demands to give up. We turn them down. We have already made the Police supports the people, and stand clear to the Invaders that nothing short of complete withdrawal from the country will be acceptable,” a police commander said. Witnesses heard protesters singing the Azerbaijani anthem with megaphones directed at Artemis soldiers. In some areas of Baku the situation is still calm, protesters chanting "No occupation! No peace! Stop Artemis!" stand far away from enemy troops, behind burning barricades and cars blocking the roads.

The guards at either side of the door tense up a little as it opens, then relax once more as Thadon enters Vedran's private office, gripping a paper in his hand. He walks over to the desk, sets the paper down and slides it across.

This was not a scheduled visit. Vedran looks up at his most trusted of associates, and he can see by the vibes Thadon was giving off that something was bothering him. He takes the paper in his hands and reads it wordlessly. It was a brief report of recent events in Azerbaijan. When he was finished, he set the paper back onto the table with a long exhale and looked back up at Thadon.

"I knew it was only a matter of time." He gestured for Thadon to sit, and he did.

"We must choose a new direction."

"I know that," said Vedran. He sighed and shook his head. "Times have changed. Let's talk about our options."

Later that night, messages were sent to Abraham Cooper in Sarnunga and Marko Lalić in Pretoria.

They have occupied our country, they must leave. There are 40.000 people in the streets of Baku, they cannot kill them all, the world will know how the Artemis Group Security deals with uprisings. We have informed our ambassadors in foreign countries to keep contacting us and spread the informations trough the world about our situation, we need help, we need support. Are there still people with sense of freedom or did the world turn into a heartless planet? They fight for the control of a land far thousands of miles from their home.. but we fight for our land, where were born and grow up, and we have nothing to loose. If we loose this war, we will loose our homes, we will not surrender.

If they want to control our land, they have to kill us all.

We demand that Artemis leave as soon as possible.

Their extended stay is making this bloodier than needed, and it would be better for all if they just left Azerbaijan alone.

If AGS does not withdraw from Azerbaijan, we will send supplies to the populace. Do not force their people to do things they do not want.

"Normally I would be quick to side with the Azeris, as a fellow Nationalist, yet the locals have forgotten that they, are the ones who decided to get involved in the Russo-Nordic war, therefore, they're paying the consequences of such involvement. They should have been more responsible, one cannot declare a war and expect to go unscathed. Artemis tried not to attack, yet the people respond in violent hordes. This is not going to work, furthermore, Azerbajian has proved in its international behavior not to be suitable to rule themselves. If the people from Azerbajian withdraw their weapons, Artemis also will, and then, maybe talks can begin. Another classy show by the Government is attacking...the White Cross, out of all involved! They associate 'em with us, because a part of the population came from our land, is that not racism at its best?"

"The power to make this end is in Azerbajian's hands. I would like to propose a peace meeting between the leaders of Artemis, and the Azeri Government, in order to attempt to come to some middle ground. What both parties want, may not be necessarily mutually exclusive, I am certain that if both parts are willing, a peaceful compromise can be found, otherwise this will simply spiral down into a butchery. If the Azeris still revolt, they'll only get lead, if they talk, they may actually get their land back, it's a pretty simple choice for 'em to make. I like it how they burn our flags, in spite of the fact that we didn't actually do a thing to their land. I trust that Artemis will put this down swiftly, if violence should continue. In case anyone may be wondering, we won't become involved militarily."

"How dare you put blame on the Azerbajian's this is not their fault. Yes they fought in the war but I edo remember you saying that this was a war of freedom not conquest and yet clearly the Artemis have proven your words wrong. This can be solved quite easily. Artemis leaves now. They have no right to be in Azerbajian any longer now that the war is over. So once again Artemis should leave Azerbajian at once".

Director Hiley growled as he stepped up to the podium, his face half-hidden by the glaring bulletproof glass in front of him.

"People of the world.. shut up. Azerbaijan lost a war, they're being occupied by Artemis instead of the Nords who I sincerely doubt would have shown restraint. They would not have withdrawn under your pressure, not have attempted to use non-violent means, and would not have helped rebuild. Artemis, on the other hand, quickly secured the country and took away none of the rights or freedoms that Azerbaijanis have. Their only complaint is that they lost a !@#$@#$ war."

"People lose wars. Get over it. If this was your country that I was occupying, you would look around and see that you're rioting only because.. wait, why would you be rioting? Because we have soldiers helping rebuild your war-torn country? Because you have volunteers flooding in to help rebuild? Aid, supplies, food? What the hell are you rioting for? For Christ's sake, people, if the Azeris want to kill themselves then let them. We don't want control of their goddamn land, they think we do. You listen to their side because they were against the Nords, you hypocritical fools. Until then, the Azerbaijani government declared war on Artemis. Azerbaijan will be treated as a country that just declared war on us."

At that precise moment, B-12 bombers were soaring through the sky accompanied by F-45As, effortlessly streaking through the sky. The B-12s dropped their payload all around Baku, targeting any place that had any sort of buildup of masses of people: there is no difference between an Azerbaijani civilian and a soldier, for in this conflict they are one in the same.

"This is insane. Just another way of showing the capitalist's greed and errors in their thinking.

The reson that the Azeris are protesting is because YOU have OCCUPIED them. They were a free people and you waltzed in and said, "No, just kidding" and now you are killing them. If we had not been shown Artemis' greed and insanity during the Slavorussian war, then maybe we would have challenged you. But we don't because it is useless arguing with insane capitalists."

New England is shocked by the magnitude of the 'atrocities' being committed by Artemis Global Security against the Azerbaijani state and people. We urge Artemis to respect the wishes of the Azerbaijani people and leave the country, as soon as possible. If you remain, things are bound to get worse, and there is an increasing possiblity that you may be accused of 'ethnic cleansing' when you try to 'pacify' the country through violent means.

Baku, Azerbaijan

Azeri F-35 intercepted Artemis warplanes today while they were trying to bomb the suburbs of Baku, and shot down one of them, Azerbaijan said.

An Azeri communique said the Artemis plane was seen crashing in Azeri territory. It said the Artemis planes had bombed the outskirts of Baku, killing 24 people, mostly civilian, wounding 18 others and destroying four appartment complex. No military casualities were reported. The Azeri army also reported artillery exchanges with the Artemis forces in the southern sector of Baku.

Rebels killed eight Artemis military personnel when they ambushed their convoy in southern Baku, a security source said today. The ambush was the deadliest attack on Artemis troops since the beginning of the uprising. The attack on the gendarmes occurred in southern Baku, in a densly populated area, the source said. "Seven soldiers were killed on the ambush spot while another one succumbed to his wounds later on," the source said, without giving more details.

The riots slowly turned into organized groups of armed partisans supplied by the Azeri army still deployed in the center of Baku, blocking the way with T-72 tanks and BMP-2 Infantry fighting veichles. The Airforce is reported to be active along with the Mi-24 attack force deploying soldiers and partisans in the country side, to disrupt the enemy supply lines around Baku.

ARMED FORCES OF THE AZERBAIJANI REPUBLIC

AZERBAIJAN LIBERATION FRONT

We must now consider the period which is just drawing to a close as almost the last stage of our national resurrection, and prepare ourselves to finish worthily the marvelous design of our founders: the Freedom of the Azeri people.

Yes, young men, Azerbaijan owes to you an undertaking which has merited the applause of the universe. You have conquered and you will conquer still, because you are prepared for the tactics that decide the fate of battles. To arms, then, all of you! all of you! And the oppressors shall disappear like dust. This people is its own master. It wishes to be the brother of other peoples, but to look on the insolent with a proud glance, not to grovel before them imploring its own freedom. It will no longer follow in the trail of men whose hearts are foul. No! No! No!

Providence has presented Azerbaijan with President Ilham Aliyev. Every Azeri should rally round him. By the side of President Aliyev every quarrel should be forgotten, all rancor depart. Once more I repeat my battle-cry: "To arms, all-all of you!". Let all of us rally round the glorious flag and give the last blow to the crumbling edifice of tyranny.

Signed

More rebel forces entered Baku today and fighting was reported around the southern side of the City. The fights are still taking place in the suburbs where Artemis troops are being prevented from entering the center of the Capital by burning barricades and RPG fire barrage, Azerbaijan Liberation Front sources told DailyNews.Az the Capital is still in Azerbaijani hands, and Artemis troops have been forced out from its key areas.

The Rebels reported that although the city was a warzone, Vaule's and Wighton's ambassadors to Azerbaijan are reported safe in their embassy buildings. A witness told the DailyNews.Az that Artemis tanks were burning in the streets.

Yes, we have seen the errors of the Azerbaijani people attempting to kill us. Next time we won't be so friendly.
