State of the Alliance

This week saw the Siberian Tiger Alliance reach a milestone...the perfect 10! In alliance score that is.

STA's Perfect Ten

This week also saw the Siberian Tiger Alliance reach 170 members and rapidly approach 2.5 million total nation strength. Our average nation strength has remained steady at just under 14,500 mainly due to the influx of small nations into the alliance countering any growth from the other members of the alliance.

In domestic news the new applicants continue to file in and it is pleasing to see so many of the new members getting involved in recruiting and other aspects of the alliance. The application procedure really seems to be doing the job and the recruits we are accepting into the alliance are of the highest quality.

The Siberian Trophy moves into its final week with two games left to play. The title race in the top flight remains extremely tight with four teams within three points of Lammoth's Condatis Town F.C. With Condatis Town playing struggling London Tigers and Cidduh Blues in their remaining matches they look to have the box seat in the title race.KevinKeegan's Cidduh Blues and MagicalTrevor's FC Morrowind now look certain for relegation.

In the Cup division Fior Eire had long secured the title and promotion. Toga's Togashire FC looks to have all but secured the second promotion position moving four points clear of third placed The Rabbs with a win against lowly Siberian Kickers on Tuesday all that is needed to secure promotion.

Militarily the Siberian Tiger Alliance has another rogue issue this week. After a slow start our members finally got on top of the rogue nation and neutralised the threat to our alliance members. The rogue was geared for war and was a good test of our member's militaries and showed them the importance of working as a team against an enemy. As a result, cubsfan1590, cameronc, Norwood, Waycool and Mikhail Stalin were presented with the STA Award for Valour for coming to the defence of a fellow alliance member under attack by a rogue. Rhome also assisted in this campaign but had already received the award some time ago as he is regularly stepping up to assist other members whenever called upon.

In foreign affairs news the Siberian Tiger Alliance had an incident with the New Sith Order over some comments between an STA member and members of the NSO. We are pleased this was resolved and, while disappointed it was played out in public in the manner it was, we are pleased to reaffirm our policy on free speech in the STA.

Overall, this week has been an interesting one. The alliance continues to grow and the feedback from new members is positive which tells the leadership that the alliance is on the right track. We look forward to passing the 2.5 million total nation strength mark during the next week and pressing on towards 200 members.

Za Sibir'!
