Hereno
[Private] To the Imperium of Japan: The Democratic People's Republic, arisen from the ashes of the conflict between your nation and the old Chinese empire, is interested in preventing a repeat of the past. Enclosed you will find a document outlining our intentions, which amount to what is commonly known as a NAP. Additionally, we wish to propose a demilitarization of the border between Guanwai and the Korean peninsula requiring notice if either Japan or Guanwai intend to move any significant military forces into or through the region. We hope this finds you well and that you find this agreement appropriate to promoting peace between our people and in eastern Asia.
Hereno
无产阶级文化大革命 Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution The politburo has declared a Cultural Revolution in the Democratic People's Republic. Bands of Red Guard revolutionaries roam the streets and countrysides in search of white resistance to the new administration of Guanwai, while Big Character posters have painted the walls of buildings around the territory in a magnificent red hue. Monks and priests have begun to avoid leaving their homes unless necessary, whilst many women have welcomed a level of gender equality not seen since the old People's Republic of China. This is certainly an interesting and wonderful time to be in Guanwai.
Hereno
Protectorate of Northern Sakhalin The Politburo has declared that the area of Sakhalin island above 50 degrees north latitude will, due to its strategic importance to the safety of our people, henceforth be under the protection of Guanwai. The people of northern Sakhalin will continue to enjoy trade relations with the DPR, as well as be allowed to remain free from all foreign control or coercion. The entire area being guaranteed is shown on the following map, in pink: Edited June 23, 2014 by Hereno

We will maintain a 20,000 soldier garrison spread out amongst the Korean Peninsula and will inform of any future troop movements in the region." -Osamu Saito, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Hereno
Movements to the North and West The DPR of Guanwai has expressed concern at the expansionism of our Siberian neighbor, which we have been tracking on satellites for some time now. This is especially concerning to us with the fall of Greater Russia. As such, we have struck an agreement wit h the Buryat Republic to allow them to vote to join Guanwai, and the Red Guards and People's Revolutionary Army have moved into the region to begin its full assimilation. Additionally, however, we have declared a protectorate over the remains of Greater Russia which are still currently controlled by local bands of communists. The map accompanying this broadcast shows our current borders, as well as all of our protected lands in pink and the Buryat Republic in green. Leaders may note that this map also includes our earlier protection of northern Sakhalin island.

Hereno
The Buryat Republic has been fortified to resist any incursions from the north or west, and local militia members have begun donning the uniforms and weaponry of the Red Guards.[ooc]2/7[ooc]---[Private]To Ukraine:Concerned about the spread of Socialism in what way? Our intentions are none less than to provide the revolutionary vanguard for global revolution. Is this a goal you share in common with us? If so, your government may send a delegation to the International currently under way in our capital city. If not, your communist party/ies may still attend the summit. They have all been invited. Hereno
Fights have broken out among members of the Buryat Republic as news of the entry of Guanwai into the SEATO bloc reaches the populace. They are echoed in the politburo, as several hard-line communist politicians began attacking perceived reactionaries who supported the measure. One of the victims has been sent to the hospital in critical condition, although no arrests have been made. Premier Zhang has called for peace among friends, while simultaneously applauding the members of the politburo who he calls "overzealous, but good-hearted" in their attacks on perceived reactionaries. He assured Guanwai that the entrance into the bloc was for the betterment of the revolution, although referendum is still an option if enough support is gathered. Proletarian Internationalism In our never-ending battle against the "whites", all proletarians within white map space can apply to receive aid against capitalist oppressors. We deem all of these governments to be weak, and recognize the value of working within the fallen lands to achieve global socialism. --- Additionally, we announce that military garrisons in Buyatia have officially become part of the People's Liberation Army.
