Euphaia
Public After all Polish and Hungary-Slovakian foreign nationals have returned from Alvonia, and all Alvonian foreign nationals have left, the Hungary-Slovakia, Burgenland, and Poland border crossings would be temporary closed for either 30 days or until the 'shot on sight' policy has been satisfactorily revised. Also, once again, both embassies in Hungary-Slovakia and Alvonia have once again been temporarily closed. Euphaia
Burgenland Public 100 army engineers have arrived in Burgenland to remove any mines still left there. Classified The Hungarian administration suspects some Alvonian mines have been placed illegally up to 20 feet across the border, intruding into Hungarian land. They will remove any of these they come across as well with mine clearing equipment and vehicles. Should they come under fire, Hungarian border guards in the area will provide them with cover fire while they finish clearing any mines. No enemy fire is expected though, as such would cause hostilities to quickly escalate. Euphaia
Not Public While so far it is just a minority, some in the parliament, fed up with Alvomia, have begun adamantly advocating for a secured, modern security border wall between Hungary-Slovakia and Alvonia. Some in that minority even go as far as to advocate for a secure, modern day "Berlin Wall" to begin being built, so as no innocent civilian or child falls victim to a mine or to Alvonia's maniacal 'shoot on sight, no warning, no questions asked' policy. Euphaia
Burgenland Not Public As suspected, Alvonian mines have been found intruding into some areas of Burgenland. The Army Corps of Engineers has begun to disable and remove the intruding mines with mine-clearing vehicles. It is unclear how long the mines have been there, and it is possible they have been there for some time, though there are some that have some suspicions about the mines. Public The Trans National Rail Line is 60 percent completed in Burgenland. Burgenland 6/7 Edited September 21, 2014 by Euphaia

Euphaia
Public Hungary-Slovakia's Minister of Foreign Affairs would make an announcement, as PM Beres is still out of country on his diplo tour. "Hungary-Slovakia is not seeking, nor does it want, increased tensions or hostilities with its neighbor, Alvonia. In fact, it was a compromise offered by Hungary-Slovakia several weeks ago that led to a decrease in tensions and averted a war that was otherwise imminent. True to our promise, Hungary-Slovakia has withdrawn everything but the agreed upon amount of border guards, and that is still all that we have at that border. Whole Hungary-Slovakia wishes to keep tensions and hostilities as low as is possible, we also cannot, and will not back down from protecting our citizen's safety and their lives, and we will not tolerate Alvonia's reckless border policy that shows a total disregard for human life. Any Hungary-Slovakian citizen that is killed will be considered as at least a homicide at best, and second degree murder at worst."
Euphaia
"While Hungary-Slovakia cannot back down on insisting on the safety and protection of its citizens, and remains very wary of Alvomia's wreck less ''shoot to kill, no questions asked' border policy, we have little intention of 'bullying', and even less intention of causing a war with Alvonia. We only ask in the name of safety and smoother relations between our two nations, that they strongly reconsider this new policy. If that is completely an impossibility, we, in the interests of peace, stability, and safety, are open to working with the Alvonian government of establishing an at least 300 feet demilitarized or no-mans zone between our two nations, or to setting up border fences between our two nations, which would increase safety and minimize the amount of people illegally trying to cross into Alvonia, as well as minimize, if not eliminate, the amount of deaths that could occur. Once the border policy has been revised, or one of the two other proposals has been agreed on and implemented, Hungary-Slovakia will reopen both embassies and will once again allow an initial 300 Alvonian citizens to visit Burgenland and Hungary-Slovakia, so long as no guns, weapons, or ammunition is brought in with them. To reiterate, should one of our citizens end up killed, we would investigate it as a murder, and if it is indeeed found that the citizen wasn't posing a threat and didn't have any weapons on his or her person, Hungary-Slovakia would charge the border guard with second degree murder and call on Alvonia to extradite the border guard to Hungary-Slovakia to face charges. While we would not resort to an invasion or open warfare over it, if Alvonia refuses extradition of a guilty party, then we would hold the Alvonian government as a whole accountable for the murder, obstruction of justice, and quite possibly for harbori g, aiding, and abetting of a fugitive." Zoot Zoot
If a Hungarian citizen gets killed in an Alvonian minefield, then the world is a better place. The minefields are clearly marked and fenced off, so anyone who does get killed in them, was either trying to infiltrate Alvonia illegally, or simply wanted to die.  What Alvonia does on its side of the border, is an Alvonian decision and Sparta condemns any attempt to strongarm a state for establishing and enforcing its right to self defence, even to the extremis as shown.  So to recap, if a Hungarian is killed in a minefield, or shot by a border guard, its their own fault for committing illegal acts against the Alvonian state through the attempted covert infiltration of the state which could in turn, be seen as an attempt to spy on Alvonia, which by extension reflects badly on Hungary. I don't know about Alvonia, but Sparta sure as hell executes any captured spies after lengthy interrogation.  Signed Spartan Foreign Office on behalf of the King
