Yes, we are allied with Ukraine, Belarus, and Romania, and we are currently in the process of negotiating a four-way Defense Pact between the four of us.

Due to tensions, I am afraid we don't have a lot of time to smooth out legaliese on a MDP or Triangle Pact, but we are willing to sign one if you are.

I will start a meeting for the three of us.

This afternoon is indeed a very proud one for Hungary-Slovakia, as thanks to it's alliance and port agreement with Romania, Hungary-Slovakia has finally has it's all, albeit small, navy.

Today two corvettes and three Kingston class Patrol Boats have been unveiled in the Hungarian port in Romania.

(OOC: No worries, just getting prepared for the 'Nam RP :) )

*The Hungarian soldiers that were ordered into Subcarpathia drive around with their loudspeakers on*

Attention all citizens and military personnel of Alvonia.  In the absence of  an agreement, the Subcarpathia region is now a Restricted Zone.  All non-Hungarian, non-Ukrainian, non-Romanian, and non-Belarusians in the Restricted Military Zone have 24 hours to leave, or you will be detained.  There will be no exceptions.

Romania would offer Hungary Slovakia to station two Mountain Infantry Divisions in Hungary, as well as multiple conventional 9K720 Iskander missiles.

Additionally, Romania would prepare a test of short-range ballistic missiles in Transilvania. Naturally, Hungary and Belarus would be informed.

(OOC: This is Hungarian news propaganda that is only being shown in Hungary-Slovakia, Subcarpathia, and Belarus.)

Good evening.  Tonight, Subcarpathia, one of the most beautiful regions near the North Sea coast, and a small, peaceful region, has been  invaded by Alvonia Expeditionary Forces, who have launched a unilateral military offensive.

Despite protests from Hungary-Slovakia and Belarus, Alvonia continue their invasion of Subcarpathia.  It is now only a matter of time before Subcarpathia, and Poland, has been completely occupied.

The Hungarian Intelligence Agency has recently learned that Alvonia has deployed tactical missiles in Subcarpathia, that will be a threat not only to Subcarpathia, but to the rest of Poland and it's surrounding nations as well.

The Hungary-Slovakian military has been sent to Subcarpathia to remove this Alvonian threat.

The Hungarian Chief of Staff would go ahead and order 2 more M119 Howitzers, and would send a confidential diplomatic message to Ukraine.

From: Hungary-Slovakian Chief of Staff

I have ordered two more M119 Howitzers, and Hungary-Slovakia offers to have them delivered and stationed inside Ukraine, for Ukraine's defenses, if Ukraine would so desire us to do so.

It is hard to say these days how long they will take to arrive.  It is usually between 2 days and 2 weeks.

The Hungarian Administration in Subcarpathia has completed its initial defense and security analysis, and has requested the Hungary-Slovakian main government to send 20,000 to 30,000 Hungarian troops be garrisoned in Subcarpathia.

The Parliament and Miltary are both widely expected to approve this request, and once they have, the garrison will begin moving to their Subcarpathian stations over the course of a week.

Hungary-Slovakian elections for parliament will be taking place in 3 days.

The Monroe Party, Capitalist Conservative Party, and Communist Party have been making a big push in their respective bids to obtain the most votes and seats in parliament, which in turn would lead to their party's leader becoming the next Prime Minister.

The Social Democrats are also making a push, but doesn't quite have the level of funding or resources that the top three parties have. Edited by Euphaia

Hungary-Slovakian elections are in two days.

Pre-election pulls so far show the Capitalist Conservatives taking a surpising lead with 45% of those polled, with the Monroe Party coming in second with 35% of those polled.  Undecided was the third most selected.

While the Monroe Party has been widely expected to poll strong, the Capitalist-Conservative Party's very strong showing and the Communist Party's so far lackluster showing in pre-election polls are both surprises.

It is being widely speculated that the reason for the surprise flip  is due to the combination of a somewhat sluggish economy and to businesses and the majority of the upper class being unhappy with current tax rates.

Elections and the lfirst referendum were held today.

The Capitalist-Conservatives by far won the most seats in parliament, and as such, their party leader, Rikard Beres, has become the new Prime Minister.

The Monroe Party won the second-most amount of parliament seats, and it is widely expected that they will form a coalition government with the Capitalist-Conservatives.

The Social-Democrats came in third, and won all the remaining seats in parliament.

As for the referendum, Subcarpathian citizens have voted with 58 percent to remain as part of Hungary-Slovakia.
