Â Military exercises will be ended again after they have concluded for the evening. Â Hungary-Slovakia continues to call for a swift end to the blockade in our region. Euphaia Posted June 24, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) Today, a rare split in opinion took place in the Hungary-Slovakian Parliament, as the Communist and Social Democratic Parties sponsored two resolutions, against the dissent of their coalition partners in the ruling majority, the Monroe Party. Â The two bills co-sponsored by the Communist and Social Democratic Parties, and joined by the Green Party, Libertarian Party, and Adams Party, repealed Hungary-Slovakia's Monroe Doctrine, and in it's place officially set Hungary-Slovakia's stance as internationally neutral. Â Â A provisional included in the second bill re-affirmed Hungary-Slovakia's strong friendship with it's former ally and still close trade partner, Belarus. Â Both resolutions have passed the Parliament, and shortly following their passage, the Monroe Party was joined by the Capitalist-Conservative Party in calling for a Motion of Censure against the Communist and Social Democratic Parties. As such, we are willing to remove our troops from Subcarpathia as soon as Hungary-Slovakia is ready to take over Subcarpathia's security. We stated that we were there to clean up the area of Ultra nationalists and Bolsheviks, and that we had no intent to annex the region. Hungary-Slovakia has requeted that a land with historical ties to it be returned, and we have obliged. Hungary has far more right to these territories that Alvonia or Belarus ever had.  Classified  Belarusian troops would be ordered to remain fully alert and prepared to stop Alvonian interferance, and would mantain their posts until Hungarian troops could take over the day-to-day operations in the region. Â While Hungary-Slovakia very much wishes for friendly and peaceful relations with its neighbor Alvonia, any force used against Hungary-Slovakia will be responded to with an equal or greater force on our behalf. Â We also warn against any aggression or force used against our close ally Belarus, as that will also invite a response of equal force in return, by a united Hungary-Belarussian front. Euphaia Posted July 12, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) Classified  Due to a possible increase of tensions between Hungary-Slovakia and Alvonia, the border guard and border patrols along the Hungary-Alvonia border has been double and placed on medium alert, and Defcon has been lowered from 5 to 3.  Border guards and patrols have been placed on strict instructions to stay on the Hungarian side of the border at all times, and not to engage unless either engaged first or any armed Alvonia personnel attempt to cross into Hungary-Slovakia.
