Mr Director Posted June 17, 2014 Report Share Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) Due to the economic embargoes being placed on our ally, Hungary, the Republic of Belarus will export its goods to Hungary at a significantly lower price for the duration of the crisis. The Republic also offers Hungary cooperation on the intelligence field, in order to counter possible assassination attempts by people who may wish to take up Axum's bounty. CVBG Grey Wolves will be taking up position on the south side of the Dardanelles strait. Any Ukrainian ship attempting to sail through will be stopped, seized or sunk. Euphaia Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) The Hungarian-Slovakian parliament has passed a resolution of its own, placing a complete embargo on all ships and trade with Axum, and asks it's CDT allies to do the same. All Axum citizens, foreign naionals, tourists, military personnel, diplomatic personnel, and government personnel are hereby declared Persona Non-Grata in Hungary-Slovakia. All Axum foreign nationals have been asked to leave Hungary-Slovakia immediately, including any diplomatic officials. Any Axum foreign nationals remaining in Hungary-Slovakia after 8 hours from now will be placed under immediate military arrest, and charged with sedition and terrorism. Any one from Axum caught trying to sneak into Hungary-Slovakia will be placed under immediate military arrest as well, and also charged with sedition and terrorism. Task Force Dardenelles is formed and placed under the command of Rear Admiral Charles White. A WASP Class Sea Control Carrier, two frigates, four frigates, and a pair of VTOL squadrons are put into this organization for detached duty to assist the Babylonians with keeping the Ukrainians penned up. As nearly all the elements were already in Bossaso, they are quickly ordered to sea with the promise of more ships to come as they are reactivated from their reserve status. The votes in both chambers of congress would be taken shortly, and would only require a signature of the President to make it law. We also thank our ally Belarus for it's generosity in it's export prices, during this blockade. We will very likely show greater restraint miliary-wise concerning Ukraine, especially when it comes to naval affairs. However, we currently have a committment to it's defense, and it is also in the best interest of our nation and our region that the economic portion remains intact. Also, as per our own Monroe Doctrine, should Ukraine, or for that matter, Belarus, Yugoslavia, or Poland, be attacked unprovoked, we will come to their defense, as we stand firmly and unwaveringly against any aggression or imperialism taking place in Eastern Europe. (To clarify, Hungary-Slovakia won't be participating in any more naval expeditions with Ukraine, or anything else provocative or of that sort with Ukraine. You have Hungary-Slovakia's assurance. We just askUkraine not be attacked unprovoked, because then we wouldn't have any other choice but to come to Ukraine's defense, since we are stlll currently allied, for the time being. Euphaia Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) The Hungaian-Slovakian parliament strongly feels that Ukraine's ship incident has provoked unnecessary danger towards Hungary-Slovakia, as well as Belarus and Greece, and that Ukraine has broke its side of the CDT treaty with its unwarranted provocation in the Pacific. It is therefore, after much internal discussion in the parliament, that Hungary-Slovakia has come to the very heavy conclusion, that we are no longer able to defend Ukraine militarily. We do, however, bear Ukraine no ill will, and wish Ukraine well and the greatest of luck. Hungary-Slovakia remains very committed to its Monroe Doctrine, and remains very committed to the defense of its allies Belarus and Greece. They will leave former Ubersteinia either after three months; or, after a new, legitimate, non-Muscovy government formed and set up by former-Ubersteinia's citizens, sends a formal request asking for the observers to be withdrawn.
