[size=4][i]To all who hear my message I say this. The Principality signed the document that created the entity we now know as the African Union to promote peace and stability upon our soil. I ordered my leadership caste to sign on behalf of all the downtrodden peoples of Africa that wished asylum in a world that disenfranchised them.[/i][/size]

[size=4][i]The AUP and later AU was a beautiful act of Unity and Brotherhood. We peacefully tended to our soil, the farmers we wished to be. We stamped out corruption, racial discrimination and violence upon our continent with swift action. While the results were not always blood-free I repeat my mantra - [/i][/size]

[i]From the rising of the sun to its setting, to its rising again; I replace what is hard to endure with what is sweet to remember. I find my peace.[/i]

[i]Africa has found its peace within the AU. We openly promote the indigenous right to self rule, and accept nearly all peaceful states in our community. We freely trust one another, and work to ensure that no one is left wanting or fearful.[/i]

[i]We recognize the fact that Terre Regius was not likeminded to our sentiments. We accepted that, and granted their request to depart the AU. We heeded their requests to remove our forces from their territory.[/i]

[i]I have before you a conversation between the Regean government and our very own African Union Security Forces council. The Regeans have unilaterally declared an EEZ around their territory - a territory granted by the AU in the name of peace, without consultation with us. They have isolated one of our complexes within this EEZ, and threaten war upon any who trespass it. [/i]

[i]30,000 brave brothers and sisters of the AUSF are now trapped on the island complex. Terre Regius has shown that 'in order to prevent starvation' we vacate the base at Andrea Gloval's pleasure.[/i]

[i]The AU was designed explicitly to counter such unwarranted aggression. Our calls for peaceful diplomacy were rejected brashly. Our hospitality is at its end. We have 30,000 reasons to declare war.[/i]

[i]Should the Regean King seek to speak amongst nobles, and bring about an end to this threat, or wishes to bring to light facts that might have been lost to us, we leave channels open to do so. Should he seek to continue threatening the peace so many Africans toiled and fought for, he will be deposed.[/i]

[b]MOVEMENTS[/b]

The Aeon military would once again mobilize for the defense of its own assets, again for a war that was thrust upon it by the errant powers that be in the world. The seeming betrayal of Andrea Gloval was a harsh reminder of what kind of beings populated the Earth. Nevertheless, the Regean regime had stretched the African Union's patience to the breaking point - the threat of starvation for the mixed nationality peace keepers upon Firebase Falcon, numbering approximately 30,000 souls had made Gloval overstay his welcome in Africa's eyes.

This time would be different for East Africa, however. It knew what the world expected of it, so it would do everything in its power to live up to those expectations. But it would not be alone this time. Oh lord, it would not be alone this time.

All forces underneath the banner of House Sidamo would prepare for immediate, full scale war. Messages were also relayed to forces given to the African Union Security Forces - for they too would need to prepare to face the brunt of attacks from the North.

[b]AUSF[/b]

There were roughly 30,000 brothers and sisters being held captive on Firebase Falcon under the threat of starvation should the AU not comply with the Terre Regean demand for ownership of the island. This was clearly unacceptable in eyes of the millions of Africans the AUSF peace keepers have protected. From the AUP protectorate of Libya/Algeria, a quick response force was quickly activated out of the Protectorate forces currently stationed there. The 2nd Heavy Tank Division, 33rd Armored Infantry Division, and 21st and 37th Air Assault Divisions would be scrambled to immediately engage the Regean state and free the 18th HAHO/HALO Paratroop and 52nd Mechanized Infantry Divisions trapped on Firebase Falcon.

In support, the remaining Aeon-supplied AUSF forces in the protectorate would deploy and patrol in support of the advance into Terre Regius. The 3rd, 18th and 22nd Rocket Forces and Artillery Divisions would deploy loosely throughout the protectorate, with cruise missiles pointing towards the sea and ballistic missiles ready to fire at a moments notice. The Divisions would deploy in a staggered fashion, easily displaced, loose and mobile, with defense in depth at arranged in a 360 degree radius. Transcension HSAM-II's would be paired with Throne AMRADS and Laelaps IARMDS, while Transcension Hyper Velocity HSAM-IIIs would deploy farther back with Sentry GMDs.

A lethal mix of artillery and cruise missiles would be provided for immediate fire support on the advance to Falcon, along with a staggered long-ranged fusilade aimed at enemy shipping should the war escalate. These divisions would co-ordinate with friendly rocket forces on further back on the mainland to provide a dedicated anti-ship ballistic missile offense to aid the ground launched cruise missiles and air launched cruise missiles slated for later on.

ELINT drones would be sent towards Terre Regius for various means, the chief one being the listening for the OTH-B radar complexes the state built during its time within the AUP. Additional sorties would provide target designation for high priority persons.

Roughly a squadrons worth of mixed long ranged Recluse bombers and Cormorant Patrol craft would linger behind friendly lines, ready to fire from behind a protective curtain. Three squadrons of AN-1 Krieg Fast Close Air support crafts armred with Punisher TAMs, and Eviscerator Air launched AshBMs would be placed on standby, while 6 squadrons of mixed F-23 Blackwidows and F-32 Grey Widows would provide air cover and limited strike/interdiction capability once enemy contact was found. AEWC&R aircraft would be in force, patrolling the AUP protectorate and incidentally sending coverage over Terre Regius. F-12 Tarantulas would escort these aircraft, while strangely enough, several Aeon cargo lifters would be seen flying in each formation. Indeed, a larger number of cargo craft would be seen throughout the eventual battlefield, surely to ensure logistical capability.

[b]NAVY[/b]

Naval forces currently undergoing AUSF sanctioned patrols of the African Union's waters would be briefed on the situation at hand and eventual combat probabilities. A decision would be made to send the 1st and 2nd Fleets of the Aviatrices to take up positions in the Mid Atlantic. Bolstering the defense of the oceans surrounding the Ascension Island Military Complex (AIMC) would be the additions of the 1st Fleet of the Exterminatrix, Charybdis. Patrolling throughout both sovereign and allied fleets would be Hunter-killer Submarine Groups Alpha, Beta and Gamma.

The rest of the sizeable Aeon fleet would be deployed to the friendly waters of Arctica. On both sides of the continent, care would be given to present no targets of opportunity amongst Aeon shipping. No clumping up of fleet formations - things were to be kept loose and fluid.

All Naval assets would observe complete discipline when contacting foreign forces, but would be placed at the highest state of alert imaginable. All anti-torpedo ROV drones would be deployed from their hosts to detect any immediate undersea threats, while LAMP aircraft would quickly create an inner ASW perimeter around African vessels, and longer ranged Maritime Patrol craft like the Cormorant would provide a long range, lingering stand-off anti-shipping and anti-submarine radius. Multi-function (AESA/PESA) radars would sweep the skies and space for satellites of potential interest, keeping note of their positions incase the need to destroy them would manifest itself. All Airborne Early Warning, Control and Response (AEWC&R) aircraft would remain aloft in shifts to ensure a long ranged coverage aimed at hunting for enemy long range maritime patrol craft and target designating UAVs. Surface scanning radars would watch the seas for deadly sea skimming threats, while longer wavelength radars would comb the air for faint positions of even stealth aircraft. Doctrine would demand that once a position be possibly determined, large amounts of radar emissions would be dumped in the direction for a greater chance to detect even extremely-low probability of detect aircraft or munitions.

The submarine forces would be sure to cover the waters entering the Straight of Gibraltar, with the SSGN, SSBN and SSGBN hulls lingering closer to the African shores while still providing fire support for surface combatants with their longer ranged payloads. In short, the Aeon fleet in the Atlantic would see itself covering the Western African shoreline from the Mouth of the Straight of Gibraltar (within International waters of course) down towards roughly Ascension Island. Attack submarines would provide a roving response force, with a number stationed near the mouth to initiate a blockade with support at a moment's notice.

Conventional search and detection tactics would be employed like above, along with specially designated vessels within independent fleets who would be tasked with imaging wind velocities, with high resolution doppler radar. The swirls air bogeys would leave in their wake would be sought out. This methodology would be mimicked by the Aeon DEW network, and attached Strategic and Tactical air defense network.

Ascension Island itself would be placed on the highest alert possible. While work was still ongoing beneath the surface of the island to place expansive bunker complexes and silo fortifications, such hopes of getting them completed before a potential conflict were soon ceased. Nevertheless, the island maintained nearly a division's worth of fixed and mobile Surface to Air missiles, Short ranged Air defense, Anti-ship ballistic missiles, anti-ballistic missile defenses and ground launched Anti-satellite ballistic missiles, along with a complement of nuclear warheads. The makings for an initial OTH-B radar installation were still ongoing, with technicians frantic to finish the incomplete network as soon as possible. For now, the island relied on allied shipping to direct long ranged fire, as well as Transporter Erector Launchers and Radar (TELAR) units providing fire control for the SAMs. The 2nd Rocket Forces and Artillery Division would be the bulk of mobile forces, supplementing the stationary defenses already onboard.

Strategic as well as Tactical Air defenses would be at an all time high on the Aeon mainland and protectorates, with AEWC&R aircraft rotating at constant escorted patrol intervals to protect the skies of the Aeon from air breathing assets.

[b]HOMELAND[/b]

Air bases in potential 'frontline' positions would remain on full combat alert status, the designated stationary [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=77405&view=findpost&p=2478678"]Point Defense[/url] units active and ready. Combat engineering teams would continue to disperse from their stationed bases and prepare for emergency placement of the entire inventory of the deploy-able Point Defense systems outlined in the Omega Imperium Doctrine via 5 ton crane trucks. Anti-ship, and strategic air defense transporter erector battalions would be ordered on rotational patrols throughout the Aeon holdings as per the norm.

Component sites of the Aeon [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=77405&view=findpost&p=2086683"]DEW Network[/url] and other unaffiliated stationary and mobile radars would begin cyclic testing of their AD-MARS (Active Denial- Mission: Anti-Radiation Response) systems. In anticipation of Anti-Radiation missile attacks aimed at hindering or outright crippling Aeon search, track and fire-control assets. In addition, the Laelaps Integrated ARM Defense System (IARMDS) would be put through its paces, with units being stationed to protect both stationary radar sites, as well as being deployed along side mobile SAM patrols.

The [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=77405&view=findpost&p=2075911"]IWAn'SEAUP AshM launch Grid[/url] would be set to full combat alert status via passive electronic detection in the interim. Upon notification of hostile surface activity from the East, all three stages would immediately ramp up their fire control systems to Active Detection and peripheral target acquisition modes from friendly ships and allied sensors. These mobile, pop-up cruise missile launchers would fire payloads and retreat underground by rail to new firing positions in a loop to get the most from the sites before they were tracked down and destroyed.

All Aeon forces under the command of the Aeon not currently taking part in present hostilities were also placed on high alert, with extra care to screen for unconventional operations.

T-280 'TRANSCENSION' HSAM-II's would be placed on alert to engage any attempts at interdiction or strike sorties against moving and stationary Aeon Forces. All stationary surface-to-air batteries within the homeland, as well as the frontier were instructed to regularly redeploy and displace current positions with a maximum allowed break down time of 25 minutes on pain of death. Batteries would consist of a 2 x 3 formation of the afforementioned HSAM-II's and Spangle Two-stage SHORAD Missile systems, separate from stationary and deployable Partisan launcher units. T-280 'TRANSCENSION' Hyper Velocity HSAM-III's remained on standby to engage incoming Intercontinental Threats alongside the S-117 'SENTRY' Ground-Based Anti-Ballistic Missile Defense systems. The Throne Advanced Medium Air Defense (AMRADS) would also see its first combat debut.

Underneath this protective blanket, the 1st, 12th and 13th RF&A Divisions would deploy in a column facing the Arabian Peninsula. The 4th, 14th and 20th RF&A Divisions would bolster the Horn of Africa behind Outer Heaven, while the 16th, 17th and 18th would patrol central Aeon. Other Divisions would remain on standby throughout Aeon territory, while others still would remain on alert in the AUSF protectorates assigned to Aeon forces.


In a massive mobilization, the 1st and 3rd through 6th Heavy Tank Divisions would prepare for offensive maneuvers into Egypt should the word be given. 8 squadrons of A-1 Krieg Fast Close Air Support crafts, 2 squadrons of Recluse and Tarantula bombers would provide a lingering long range fire support, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 11th and 19th RF&A Divisions would provide close air and precision guided munition (PGM) defense in the form of tracked and mobile short to medium launchers like the Spangle-I and Spangle-II, mounted on the Trasher Gun/Missile System and dedicated tracked vehicle while units like the HSAM-II, HSAM-III, Throne AMRADS and Laelaps IARMDS would linger back to provide a leap frogging advance. The 1st through 7th Armored Infantry along with the 1st through 12th Mechanized Infantry Divisions would protect the heavy armor's left and right flanks in a staggered push. Finally, the 1st through 6th Helicopter Assault Divisions would provide a quick response all along the axis of advance.

Similar provisions were done in North Eastern Ethiopia, with the 1st through 8th HAHO/HALO Paratroop Divisions preparing for deployment alongside the 7th to 9th Air Assault Divisions.

OOC: Only the attacks on Gloval have happened. Diplomatic channels remain open. The rest are deployments. I would like a spy roll on Gloval to find out initial positions of his OTH-B radar complexes if it passes, a roll to determine the locations of his various Counts and other Leadership elements.

[b]Trollforce, NORTH[/b]

Not much was happening with Trollforce, North as it chugged it's way through the heart of the PRA. The men, the trains, and the machines had their destination and now the only thing they could do is wait to arrive. During that time the men and others played cards, cleaned their weapons, and stared out the windows at the scenery.

[b]Trollforce, Main[/b]

As per agreement with the African Union Pact the entirity of Trollforce went to wartime footing. Air patrols are tripled, EWACS planes are put into the air, AWACS planes are ordered up, and the somewhat integrated command net of Trollforce begins to deploy and redeploy the men and others in accordance to regional needs and conditions. A special eye is placed on readying the ASMBAT units of Trollforce, MAIN to the coast to prepare for a possible over the beach invasion. Not that any of them thought the fighting would hit Trollanstia, so most of them figure its a good chance to spend some time near the beach.

[b]Trollforce Nuclear Command[/b]

All 25 nuclear tipped missiles are placed on double break off flank attack alert, which is pretty serious business.

[b]Trollforce Navy[/b]

All thirty destroyers, ten submarines, three cruisers, and assorted patrol boats are put on alert and they are ordered to sea to begin patrolling the Atlantic coast of Trollanstia. They will stand by for further orders as the situation develops.

Duty is duty and the pilots of the three squadrons of long range bombers know their duty. They loft their planes into the air and the B-2 Mark 3a Stealth Bombers head towards the conflict zone looking to drop some bombs on anything over six inches tall. As a side note the pilots are all equipped with huge watches to keep up with their reputations for having petite genitalia. Their flight would take some hours, meaning it will be quite the while before the aircraft near the conflict zone, hence they'll be missing out on the first wave of falcon punches and kicks to the steak and eggs that are no doubt being rendered all over the place up.

The army had been raised from the previous reports value to above 420,000 and the amount of armored vehicles to 4,200. Deployments in each corp had been increased to match the current values. The navy would begin to deploy in force towards allied Madagascar. Haven would deploy additional forces to the Tanzanian complements of Haven provided AUSF forces with troops and tanks.[/font][/color]

SAM’s, SDI equipment, tactical ballistic missiles, anti-ship ballistic missiles, and ground launched cruise missiles were being deployed to Tanzania and Aeon. In total fifty percent of Haven’s capacity for such equipment were going to both places and would cover the east coast of Africa with their collective payloads. Troops were given instructions to hide them in clusters at strategically placed locations until further orders. At home non-nuclear ICBM’s were being prepped for launch. It was essential for Haven to have a strong logistical and liaison chain with its Aeon brethren to the North, as a mix of both Aeon equipment and Haven's indigenously procured hardware would be working together to defend their neck of the continent.[/font][/color]

Following STARS protocols they would be resistant to most kinds of attacks and greatly increased Haven’s air defense capabilities. Haven would stress the need for a highly mobile force of battalion strength elements patrolling throughout Haven's sovereign territories and nearby AU protectorates.[/font][/color]

Cargo aircraft would be seen patrolling alongside bomber and AWACs deployments.[/font][/color]

The 105,000 marines of the First Confederate Marine Combat Group surged forward to the West, eight divisions aimed like an armored spear for the North African PRA holdings, while the remaining two peeled off to [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?app=members&module=messaging&section=view&do=showConversation&topicID=149995&st=520#"]deal[/url] with Terre Regius, 21,000 men, 210 M1A3s and over one hundred helicopters of all persuasions would make the short slog to the Regean border to the East, with initial target zones being El Kef and Kasserine.

Twenty squadrons of Confederate aircraft burst into the atmosphere, burning for their targets within Regius. The two squadrons of B-2Bs would bring volleys of cruise missiles and standoff glide bombs into range of Regean military installations, government centers and defenses once targets were designated, or weapons fired at friendly forces.

The fifteen fighter squadrons led the bombers, one aircraft in each squadron holding one or two SEAD-MA units to be released if and when the Athenians showed themselves and challenged them. The Grey and Black Widows of the squadrons were armed with a mix of Confederate-produced AIM-121 AMRAAM-B missiles and Pact-provided advanced missiles with which to engage Athenian fighters.

The three “oddball” B-1R squadrons brought with them enormous payloads of the same missiles the fighters were armed with, while the B-2s would linger back and provide long endurance, low probability of intercept stand off fire support behind friendly lines.

Confederate missile batteries sprang to life, opening the Regean [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?app=members&module=messaging&section=view&do=showConversation&topicID=149995&st=520#"]assault[/url] with a barrage of 72 Tomahawks armed with heavy MHE and SHS warheads, targeted on military installations and military shipping. Strategic ranged surface to air missiles, cruise missiles and tactical ballistic missiles would remain on standby in the Libyan/Algerian protectorate, while mobile elements of the Confederate air defense would move with the liberation force.

Explosions cause the camera to rock, and screams can be heard. A reporter in a bright orange helmet stands up and speaks to the camera, a nervous look on their face. "As you can see, AUP missiles are striking into the heart of the city! Firefighters are rushing to the scene, but I've personally counted over thirty explosions in the last hour! The city hall is leveled, as are multiple other government installations! Civilian casualties are still being tallied as the assault is still going on! This is an attack of terror!"
Another explosion, the sound cuts out in a loud KER-BUNK, the man in the orange helmet is engulfed by dust, the camera's view spinning and tumbling wildly. The image turns to static.

Meanwhile, civilians in their own cars sped from the capital, putting up posters to crowds screaming for revenge.

The 18th HAHO/HALO Paratroop and 52nd Mechanized Infantry Division hunkered down under the Regean barrage, even after a miniature rain of steel began to bombard the nearest shores of Firebase Falcon facing Terre Regius. 'Abettor' Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar and Guided Munitions (C-RAMGM) would immediately spring to life, firing intelligently programmed shells into the enemy fusillade. The T250 gun each Abettor wielded would fire 42mm shells at 3,000 RPM 24 round bursts at rounds determined to be on velocities that threatened AUSF men and materiel. These high velocity rounds would tear apart the incoming enemy shells by exploding into 152 heavy tungsten metal flechettes at calculated intercept points. A minimal amount of Regean ordinance would survive their falls to AUSF soil, with several injuries reportedly caused by stray fragments.

In response to the attacks, fireteams wielding Enhanced Fibre-Optic Guided Missiles would begin a calculated counter battery mission aimed at damaging or destroying Regean armor present near the island. The mortar sized launchers would have a range of 20km, hopefully enough to cover the distance across the sea. Each missile would be guided by wired command guidance as they shot into the air and sailed towards enemy positions. The high resolution TV imagers present on each warhead would allow lead missiles to spot targets for follow up attacks, and the focused anti-armor warhead each missile carried was sure to destroy or render inoperable each target hit. These weapons were multi-purpose, with instances of successful engagements of infantry and helicopters recorded in the past. Hopefully, these same successes would be repeated.

As the lead elements of the 33rd Armored Infantry crossed the Regean border, the first NDII Hunter Light Reconnaissance/Fast-Attack Vehicles and NDII Chaperone IFVs inside enemy territory would be able to see the woeful lack of an enemy to shoot almost immediately. These armored vehicles, along with the heavily armed and armored infantry they carried would be the initial Aeon AUSF jab into the lungs of Terre Regius. The advance would see itself make its way towards the initial destination of Tataouine, slowing only just enough to ensure the logistical chain heading back to completely friendly territory was secure. Traveling in platoon sized elements, backed by mobile Gun/Missile SHORAD units and medium air defense attached at battalion level, these elements would secure the North Eastern flank of the AUSF advance as heavier SAM and Ground Launched Cruise Missile batteries would be flown in via Low Altitude Parachute Extraction (LAPES) behind quickly erected battle lines. Even as the initial fallback positions and rear forward positions were established by the 33rd, elements of the force would break away with their anti-air tenders for the direction of Medinine. The lighter 21st Air Assault Division would quickly deploy to fill in the gaps, with the Division's worth of MILAC MIL-28 Ravager Heavy Gunships and MILAC RAH-66 Black Mambas being attached to the flank as a quick response force to Regean break through attempts.

The 2nd Heavy Tank Division, however, would find even fewer targets still as they trundled through the sandy plains of Southern Tunisia. Even as their commanders fervently thanked their beloved Princess for the boat shaped bottom their tanks had, which made their treks through African terrain much smoother and less problematic - worry gripped their hearts tighter still. Mobs of civilians fleeing the center of Tunisia would be encountered in droves, and would be hastily directed to pre-planned safe zones far away from the AUSF heavy advance towards Tunis. Elements would be hastily co-ordinated to administer immediate medical attention and humanitarian relief to the civilians encountered.

Coordinating with overhead cover and UAV feeds, as well as allied sensors and shooters to the West, the AUSF air cover would begin its fast advance, searching for enemy strongpoints to engage with precision guided munitions to minimize collateral damage. This division was transport and infantry heavy, and would make numerous drops in a cone shaped radius of buildings and other positions around the outskirts of Tataouine while continuing for Initial Battle Damage Assessment (IBDA) duties further North East once Aeon aircraft began their attacks. Fighting was expected to be heavy here, thus limiting the scope of allowed fire support for AUSF forces to call upon. Soldiers not in the immediate vicinity of fighting would quickly commandeer and coordinate Regean civil servants to facilitate the swift movement of refugees south towards safety.

News of Gloval's arrogant announcements from the Royal Palace did not fall on deaf ears, as Aeon aircraft would begin the swift assault on the Palace itself with precision guided ordinance once in position. The concentration of Aeon Unmanned Aerial Reconnaissance units began to steadily increase as the AUSF push continued into the nation, and would be expected to continue the trend throughout the coming days and weeks.

Attacks against Egypt and Morocco had been expected ever since they came under Athenian control and the preparations were there. As most of Egypt was desert, and especially the south, was not very habitable to people there weren’t many civilians to begin with. Those that were however would quickly be evacuated to the much safer north, this had the added advantage of leaving an enormous amount of open terrain under constant watch by the Hellenic Space Forces and Hellenic Air Force. Not to forget the passive and active manned and unmanned defenses spread throughout the region. Any enemy would surely walk and/or fly into a deathtrap. In Morocco less terrain was available however that which was available saw itself armed to the teeth as well, with a combination of the Hellenic Army and Hispanic Guard active in the area a good defense could be made. Likewise the air cover which was mostly supported from Iberian airspaces could stand its ground. Throughout the Federation at large they were still in the war mode from the Colombian conflict and as such kept constant wartime rotations in the air and made sure no ship was not ready to deal with submarine or missile attacks. All in all the Athenian Federation and Hellenic Forces were ready to deal with an attack against its soil and assets.

For the Athenian offensive the most important part first was to secure Terre Regius. Firebase Falcon due to its closeness to the Athenian Federation had been continuously monitored since it was formed, every stone used in its constructions were somewhere in the records of the Military Intelligence Agency and the information would be used. From HAFB Milan two B-11 squadrons would rush into the air, advancing for Firebase Falcon while remaining in the protective umbrella of the Athenian air defense network they would unleash a total of 384 ER-M-51s at the facility, these missiles would be armed with HDRM, kinetic and NGMWS warheads to make sure every hit would count and deal damage to the structure. As soon as they expended their arsenals they would move as far out of range as possible while preserving wartime rotations. If the enemy wanted to pursue them they would need to enter airspace truly dominated by the Hellenic Air Force. By now the presence of five Corvettes had also been detected, to deal with these the Hellenic Navy would finally be able to test the fix installations it had built throughout the Mediterranean coastlines under Athenian control. From different bases a total of fifty extended range supersonic Perseus missiles would be launched, working through an advanced system to eliminate defenses and guarantee hits they would most likely make life difficult for the five defending corvettes. There was a reason the Hellenic Navy stayed out of the Mediterranean and the PRA was about to find out why.

While these operations against Falcon and the Corvettes occurred they could of course not forget the ground invasion currently occurring, the expeditionary force sent to Terre Regius would join the formations of their allies to pose a greater defensive capability against the enemy. At the same time a squadron of the advanced stealth B-1 bombers would enter Terre Regius, while they themselves were made to fight off a sixth generation enemy there of course would also be protection in the form of three F-5 squadrons staying just outside of Terre Regius air to quickly intercept any enemy force that somehow managed to pinpoint the exact locations of the bombers. The bombers were armed with a combination of anti-personnel and anti-vehicle conventional and cluster munitions. The forces approaching Tatouine didn’t have too many options to go there, honestly all realistic ones went through a small area of roughly 10-12 kilometers wide. Geography simply prevented the other ones, taking this into account the B-1s would move themselves over this pass to unleash their deadly munitions over the enemy, a total of 840,000 lbs of the aforementioned munitions would be unleashed over the enemy forces. U-2As in the atmosphere would be flown over the region to confirm kills after the strike. As soon as the weapons were unleashed the bombers turned back to Athenian air bases. For now operations remained in Terre Regius but this was soon to change as the Federation at large prepared to release the decades of boiled up rage.

The Imperial Family and civilian government officials are the first to leave their posts, followed shortly thereafter by their Deputies and Advisors. As is customary in such situations, no one individual is aware of the location of more than one senior civilian official.

At the very moment that the announcement was made, a mass mobilization of all Vaulian forces got underway. The Army, Navy and Air Force mobilized all of their personnel and readied for combat. The Vaulian Reserve Forces would be activated and tasked with defending the homeland. The Organization of the Zodiac, with the exception of its forces deployed in Vancouver, would generally remain at a heightened level of alert, but would not carry out a full scale mobilization. OZ Irregular forces units would deploy in small groups at predetermined locations throughout mainland Vaule and would sever all contact with the government. These forces would stockpile small arms supplies, anti tank munitions and land mines. The Vaulian Air Force and the Aries Division of OZ would work in conjunction with the Territorial Defense Corps and by extension other nations in the alliance to share any pertinent RADAR information through secure and encrypted channels. All air defense personnel were put on the highest level of alert, and two AWACs planes would be kept airborne at all times. A group of five AC-130 aircraft would be prepared at an airbase outside of the capital city Zhukovgrad to begin transporting troops to the Athenian Federation.

In the Vancouver Territory, the Vaulian Naval forces stationed their simply readied land based anti-ship missiles and began laying mines off the coast of Vancouver Island. In the Vaulian Antarctic Territory, the five nuclear submarines stationed there would leave their bases and head off in three different directions.

Exactly ten minutes after the announcement was made internet service throughout the Serene Republic would be shut down and mobile phone signals would be jammed in the capital cities and the East Ingushetia Autonomous Community. Observers would notice the shells not doing nearly as much damage as expected, though the bridge between the island and the mainland was now a mix of seawater, road chunks, and gravel. In order to counter these anti-artillery guns, artillery crews were ordered to change the elevation of their 155mm Gun-howitzers for a lower, higher velocity round. Supply of a type of white-phosphorous round was increased and to be fired mixed in with the normal barrage. This round would be useless as a normal round hitting it's target, but if destroyed mid-air would cause a spraying rain of burning white phosphorus over the target area. Trying to shoot down Terre Regius's shells would now cause a new issue for Falcon.

The AUP's failure to read a map quickly became an issue, as these missiles became a complete and utter waste, splashing down into the sea, or hitting only the very edge of Legio Vigilum emplacements. Howitzers, with their range of 30km, were perfectly safe. The 2nd division forces that were slightly north of the town of Boughrara were ordered to move south of the town and assist the rest of the 2nd division in preparing a defensive line facing the direction of Ben Gardane and Medicine, the only really logical direction the enemy could come from. Mine-laying forces moved to the southwestern end of Oued El Fedje, putting a defensive field, with a mixture of anti-infantry and anti-vehicle mines, starting there and following the eastern side of the road connecting the C08 north to the C116.

With cliffs alongside their eastern flank, this 2nd Tank Division would likely find itself in a position where it was completely unable to do anything of significance. 200+ meter tall cliffs seperated them from the road into Tataouine and the forces trapped in the 10-12 kilometer wide passage there. They would also find no civilians what so ever, because the sandy dunes of the Jebil National Park and south hold no towns. There were no civilians retreating south. Civilians were moving northwest, towards the city of Gabes, where the 1st Division of the Legio Vigilum had prepared relief centers.

The 1st Division, under allied air cover, also began loading itself up into VM 90's, ready for movement at a moment's notice. A supply of 120mm mortars and 155mm howitzers was also quickly moved from storage.

Terre Regius's undermanned OTH site around Al Fawwar was quickly wiped out. Surviving operators quickly got to destroying sensitive documents and files. If their cars in the facility parking lots remained, they would retreat to the town itself.

Rescue forces would find the King unharmed, protected by a ceiling beam with had prevented him from being crushed by rubble. He was moved to a classified location within the city, the burning of the palace lighting up the night and filling the day with smoke. Terrans cheered as King Andrea came upon the television once more.

The burning palace could been seen in the background of the pre-recorded image, the flag of Terre Regius held up by two soldiers of the Promarchia Secta. Andrea, covered in small scratches and his left arm in cast, stood before the flag.

The recording was played several hours after it had been recorded, with His Majesty moved to a new secure location every one and a half hours. He would also visit the soldiers around the city, raising moral with these surprise visits. Civilians, emboldened by his words, would throw trash and insults at the invaders. Civil servants would refuse to cooperate. The chant quickly became "Better to die a patriot than live a coward!", and "We all fight for Andrea!"

In all, the entire Revolutionary People's Fleet would come into play to transport the Revolutionary Army to Tunisia. Given the orders were to arrive ASAP, it would take approximately two and a half days for the Georgian reinforcements to arrive, and another week and a half for the entire Georgian force to arrive, a complement of 100,000 soldiers and 1,000 tanks, with of course support from Unit 1704.

The Hispania Guard would cooperate with the greater Hellenic Air Force in conducting aerial attacks against Firebase Falcon. From bases near Valencia, two B-11 squadrons lifted off into the air, making their way toward the beleaguered African base, followed by five squadrons of F-5 air superiority fighters assigned to defend the B-11s. Coordinating their activities with the Athenian aircrafts, Hispanic bomber pilots would unleash 384 ER-M-51 missiles armed with HDRM, NGMWS, and kinetic warheads at Airbase Falcon to compound the damage. Once finished, they would quickly move back into Athenian airspace, utilizing evasive measures to evade any pursuing enemy aircrafts if necessary. While the bombers were unleashing their payloads, the F-5s would maintain a vigilant eye for any oncoming enemy and would engage whenever necessary.

In the meanwhile, the Thirteenth Army of the Hispania Guard had long dug hard in their positions in northern Egypt and Morocco, dating from the beginning of the Colombia War, and were firmly entrenched in position. As there were fairly few border crossings into Egypt, along with the barren nature of the province, any invading force would be severely-constrained in their maneuvers, and this would enable the Hispania Guard to utilize the geography in part to turn the tables against the enemy. The same went for Morocco; Hispanian forces were already in position to repel potential PRA incursions into Athenian territory and to mount offensives whenever the orders were given. In Hispania itself, orders were relayed to all HG airbases to take off into the air as part of standard wartime procedures. Accordingly, over 1,260 aircrafts of all kinds began loitering in the skies above Hispania, including these stationed in Egyptian and Moroccan airbases. They would do this constantly.

As for ground forces, a division from the Hispania Guard would be deployed to Terrus Regius to join its counterparts there to help strengthen their defenses. From southeastern Hispania, the Seventh Division of the Seventh Army would deploy abroad strategic airlift aircrafts and make its way to their destination. Under air cover by F-5s, the Hispanian forces would arrive in the vicinity of the TR capital of Urbem Rex, where they would proceed to dig in hard. Several more divisions in Hispania were ready to deploy in a moment's notice if orders came from the Athenian High Command. As the troops were moving into position, the B-1s would join their Athenian counterparts to unleash their munitions against enemy forces approaching Tatatouine (referred as 'Tatooine' by some Hispanic pilots). In particular, one pilot named Luke Skywalker would show his vigilance and determination against the enemy.
