[/quote] I don't think anyone is complaining that FARK is using that tactic, I just wanted to point the difference. That we came because we wanted to and did so without being asked, while FARK is actively recruiting and asking nations/alliances to help them out. Although if we were complaining about them using that tactic, I would agree with you that it is hypothetical. Now it is up to PC/iFOK to decide if what FARK is doing is allowing outsiders to bandwagon in or not by openly inviting them to join in the fight by ghosting their AA (and before you say it, those of us who joined NEW are now NEW members and registered on their forums and everything.) But I love how Fark and now friends are through around the "rogue" word to classify us who are defending our friends. They did not think so before, but now that it has became too much for Fark to handle we have been deemed "rogues" to justify them to seek out allies to "attack the rogues". Classy.

[/quote] Zoom I think you mean "treated like any other NEW* member" But you are wrong here, what we have done by joining NEW, to defend our friends, is very different then the tactic FARK is trying to utilize. We decided to help our friends against a curb stomp, we all decided to join NEW on our own accords without anyone in NEW even approaching us. FARK, instead, is actively recruiting nations to join their ranks because they ended up biting off too much then they can chew. Since PC and iFOK are preventing FARK from bringing in other alliances to bail out their upper tier, they have resorted to begging anyone/everyone they think will send nations over to save their 100K+ NS nations.

I would agree with you, that is if you want to define allies as being blind, mindless meat-shields that you are allowed to manipulate for your own benefit without taking your "ally" into account. For some reason I don't think it will take long for NEW to recover from this image nor find new allies incase their current ones decide to drop them (although that would be incredibly stupid). IMHO I would rank NEW in the top 3 of alliances I would want to have a treaty with (hai FOK )

These replies in this thread has been hilarious, if anyone actually knows NEW, you know they will back an ally no matter the odds (in almost all situations). But why don't you guys step off your apparent moral high horse and look at the consequences for NEW. They are an alliance that plays the game as it should be, and that is as a game. They enjoy tech raiding and are never scared about shooting off a few nukes and in return taking some for a friend. But if NpO ends up winning this war, then Grub will take it as validation of him anointed the moral police chief. Who knows how he will try to dictate tech raiding in the future. So why would NEW help fight for a cause that a) they don't believe in and b) directly affects their game play in a negative way? Knowing NEW I am sure they will be there to help their allies after this war, win or lose. By seeing the lack of NEWs allies posting in this thread I am sure they already know this, but NEWs allies should be good allies themselves and understand the complication that this has put NEW through. I am sure this is a one time occurrence of NEW not following their treaties to the T. o/ NEW

Ding, ding, ding..... we have a winner. One thing that hasn't changed since the "dark days of CN" is that everyone wants a war (when they assume they will win the war)

Just like almost everything else in life, alcohol makes CN better. A couple weeks ago Syrik experimented with this prospect, unfortunately he decided to go a little too hard, but no harm in that right? Just makes for some more fun? Right? Long story short he left the alliance, went rogue, then woke up the next morning not remembering any of it, although this situation has been resolved. A consequence of all this is that somehow little ol’ me ascended to the top spot over here at Poison Clan, now that’s a scary thought. So as my first order of business I would like to appoint TwistedRebelDB47 as my second in command. Many of you know him as Planet Bobs biggest land whore, but I know he is more then qualified for this job as he is one of the main people responsible for making Poison Clan what it is today under his rein in the past. Now as my second order of business in charge of Poison Clan, I am stepping down and resigning as leader of Poison Clan. I am no longer active enough or have the time to barely be a part of the Poison Clan community, let alone the Leader. Don't worry, I know exactly what you are doing. You want IS to attack you that way you have VE to come and back you up, so it because a fight that you will win. On the other hand you can attack IS, but if that happens then I doubt VE will have your back when IS's allies come to their back, so that will be a fight that you will lose. So please do not call some people spineless if you fall in the same boat.

Didn't The Orders try to change history and claim their won GW1 after everyone they fought against in it were gone? So how did they enter the war knowing they will lose, then later claim they won it? Interesting. Vox Populi, well I will give you credit there I guess that one works, although I consider it more of a protest movement. The Unjust War doesn't work here, there were many players on both sides that thought they would win the war, although there were also some on each side who thought they were going to lose. By the way I remember attacking you in that war, and even though you took everyone way too seriously.

Me? I have no problem entering a fight even if I know I will lose, as long as I can have fun with it. You obviously don't know me at all. Also when has ANYone or ANY alliance started a war if they thought they will lose it? Yup, thats what I thought. I guess every color is a hitting color then.
