  1. I will cancel my trades tomorrow, and accept your offers. Looking forward to stable trading with you fine esteemed gentlemen.
  2. Be happy about it, other people are getting hit with nuclear weapons which decreases them in the overall ranking. You on the other hand go up because of the hits.
  3. Buying Tech Standard Deal $3m for 100 tech one on one deal Stages = $3m > 50 tech > 50 tech preferably long term arrangement First Come, first serve basis! Sellers put your names down, and the funds will be wired to you ASAP!
  4. This is the best thread I have seen I a long, long time. The people here are so amusing.
  5. They are likely to flourish in a time of political instability and bipolarism. There is nothing that protects a neutral party as much as a couple of other blocs/alliances wanting to protect their image.
  6. This war shifted domination and power from one group into several larger groups, also it will cause new ties to be formed and others to be broken. The change in mentality and structure will depend on former hegemony and karma alliances to be able to sit around a table with eachother, if that is not achieved changes that happend here in the last month that were perceived negative will come back to haunt both sides of the war. There is quite a bit of hostility, all understandable, but only some justified. Personally I hope that people can drop their first perception when they talk to me and they might see that we have more in common then they would ever think they have. If I can do the same, wouldn't that be a true revolution?
  7. Karma's influence on how CN should be run hasn't been used to the extend some people would like to believe, their mission is punishment the way to administer it is what they are torn on. Besides, for the future of CN look less at Karma and more to the parties that will be calling the shots or in position of power after this war. The blocs, past-war NPO, unaffiliated parties will be the new powermongers.
  8. With the removal of the team colour forums much of the colour politics disappeared, some lingers but not on the level we had in the ol' times
  9. Seeing LUE back would be great, if you make a record of all their actions you'll find that they did contribute a lot to this game.
  10. Ivan Moldavi, Dilber, Archon, Electron Sponge/Doitzel, an to me personally Sir Paul.
  11. My war has lasted from 27/04/2009 till 03/05/2009, and I've lost around 45% of my total NS. Truth to be told I haven't rebuilt my military because I prefer to rebuild my infra and tech first. I fought against menwearpink135 from GR who lost around 44% and against Quercus of OBR who entered the next day and lost around 33% of his total NS. Both were great opponents. The white peace was basicly gained from the start, even without Citadel allies which obviously won't lend military aid when one of their members gets beaten but also from OBR and GR which said from the start they didn't had any "beef" with us. Both learned us quite some things, especially from OBR who is around our the size of OG.
  12. Truth, to be quite honoust this war have made me far more active then i've been before and so has our alliance as a whole. I do believe this war has been benificial.
  13. I personally never felt hatred, even founding myself agreeing with many of the Karma ideals. However with the rise as the Continuum as a hegemonic bloc I considered a CN where there are multiple blocs with large importance impossible and unpractical. I've myself been on the receiving end of agression in the woodstock messacre, A war I left before it started due to being fed up with the incapable foreign affairs. I vowed to try and change the structure, where better to do just that from within not with weapons but with words, advice and voting. This may seem idealistic to many of you but after the hegemonic power structures we had before and due to the fact there was no political opponent of any power made me believe that CN was changing into a place where a "CN UN" or a multi-party governing body was the next step in the evolution of this game. So no, I do not hate and never will. I disagree
  14. Buying Tech Standard Deal $3m for 100 tech one on one deal Stages = $3m > 50 tech > 50 tech preferably long term arrangement First Come, first serve basis! Sellers put your names down, and the funds will be wired to you ASAP! P.S. You absolutely must not be involved or in an alliance involved in the Q-Karma war, my cash won't be used to fuel conflict.
  15. Just want to make clear here that OG hasn't called in the Lux treaty in this war. What would have happened if we did is pure speculation, and we might have done so if treated unfairly. However that is not the case and in my opinion the citadel alliances are not to be attacked here for not honouring their treaty with us.
  16. Welcome back John. It's always good to see ol' timers return.
  17. Whilst the extra battle reports were more better at waking me up then my usual morning coffee I am glad we are fighting such great foes. Same goes out to Greenland Republic, you guys really know how to pick your friends.
  18. Indeed this should be seen as a very honourable move, they have a perfect opportunity to take revenge to those that questioned their neutrality over and over again. Instead they prove them all wrong in one single declaration, the GPA is a neutral alliance and nobody outside that has any right or any power to label them differently, as they alone choose their paths. And as anyone can see that path is neutrality, as always.
  19. There is politics and there is membership/friendship, after some serious doubts about the whole situation I look forward to meet GR on the battlefields. We all now pinguins are far more cuddly then pit vipers.
  20. I have been a GPA member the first few years in CN, I've been active in the green cold war, served 2 terms as press secretary and one term as foreign minister, made a load of videos for the GPA and it was an awesome time till the politics got too messy. I left fed up with the lack of change, and I joined the Old Guard since I learned that you have to exert influence to make changes.
  21. I have to say the formation of the Initiative, it changed the rules of war and diplomacy and led to the new politics and current treaty blob.
  22. I know you don't speak for Vox Populi, but I would be very dissapointed if you truly believe what you just said. Basicly the plan is to remove one regime to simply replace it with a regime that uses the same means vox is always saying it fights againsts?
  23. I would not call this is crime, all I can say if this is true that the people over there are pretty stupid for lawyers. Was it worth the chuckle? For a joke where there only gain is a loss of trust and signatories?
  24. Congratulations GPA, I know you guys are doing all you can to mend fences. However with alliance announcements and a bored world that see GPA bashing as a easy prey it might be better to take a slight change in the FA department. Getting ambassadors to talk more on their designated alliance IRC chatroom or by making tech/trading treaties. Neutral doesn't have mean irrelevant, get out there and start dealing like only a neutral can. What worked for the swiss can work for you.
