  1. Here's a sig for the other coalition to use -- don't say I never did you any favors.
  2. I feel like the Pro-Grub campaign is missing a 'uge opportunity here. Why drag yourself down in negative back and forth with Lord Hitchcock, when you have a plethora of positive support in this thread that, as far as I can tell, no one in the Pro-Grub camp has even acknowledged. You have to embrace your base -- all of these are eminently sigable. Endorsements from other sitting senators pouring in, and you're just going ignore them? I demand to speak to your campaign manager.
  3. All depends on how you measure success. Meth's claims of victory in the "Dream War" seem to center around two themes: 1. Limitless Nexus never surrendered 2. Screaming Red Asses rebranded as Stripes toward the end of the war (Typically stated as "SRA did not survive the war"). Neither of those on it's face are wrong, but neither of them represent the whole truth nor are they indicative of a victory. Let's take a look at them: 1. LN never surrendered Didn't in this war, and never have. Meth often enjoys toting his undefeated record in war. However, the simple fact is that in order to not surrender, all you have to do is refuse to. No army can occupy your shattered land and force a surrender -- it is literally impossible. Meth's wars often end when no one is in his range anymore, and people become weary of restructuring their lower tier to continue a war which by that point has lost any meaning. In the Dre4m War, SRA was faced with four enemy alliances: Limitless Nexus -- All low tier, not a "growth" alliance. There is no effort to cultivate nations, and the alliance is typically made up of Meth, a highly wondered nation in the LOL tier who has constant aid coming in from Sigrun, and a handful of others who are swiftly knocked out of the range of any nation in a "growth alliance". Monsters, Inc. -- More of a traditional alliance. At the time of the Dream War, they were pretty war weary -- had been at it with another alliance for a month or two prior Confederatio Aesir -- A large nation with a 15 billion dollar warchest, accompanied by a few ghosts of the same caliber Confronted with this coalition, we realized that LN would swiftly be reduced to just Meth, and it was. We hunted down a few LN nations who fled to other AA's to reload, but mostly they were quickly reduced to ranges at which we could no longer provide nations to fight them. LN was never priority for our coalition. It eventually comes down to Meth, who will remain camped in the low tier with his wonder package, and there is little point in fighting him. Sigrun fought one high tier battle, and quickly sold down to the 60-70K range. With her (and Pulisher's) warchest, there is no "beating" her for an alliance our size -- we simply tried to keep her at low nukes and in anarchy to mitigate her threat. Monsters, Inc. was where we concentrated our efforts. Sigrun can buy back her damage, LN doesn't care about growth, so M Inc. was the weak point. Mostly low tier nations with a few 60K nations like Hardin and King Neptune, we had the bodies to wear them down and use up their war chests (which were already depleted to some extent). There was no support in that tier, or their lower tier for that matter -- we concentrated our efforts on them in an effort to get them out of the war. They burned pretty hard for LN, and eventually about half the alliance tired of the fight and left, and what remained surrendered. They say now it was only to get a treaty with Polar, but they were pretty wrecked less than a month in: After MInc surrendered, there was really not a lot of point left in fighting the war: It was basically Meth and Sigrun, and fighting them was pretty pointless: The big threat was MInc, which was neutralized, and damage against Meth and Sigrun, for our coalition, was respectively easily bought back or a drop in the bucket. The war ended basically due to a lack of interest. 2. SRA didn't "survive the war" Meth continues to bring this up, and I'm not sure why, since it was explained to him here and he indicated he understood over the course of 5 posts. Basically, when I had to... leave the alliance unexpectedly, I told Xanth it was his now and he should re-brand it. Yes, SRA no longer existed, but another alliance with THE EXACT same people in it took its place the second it did. It was literally semantics, and had ZERO to do with Meth or the war. I posted a letter telling him to do so -- it was uploaded to the wiki on August 5, all dated and such. I mean, there is no "Methrage" anymore, either -- the reason no one on our side claims victory for this is that the exact same guy exists with a different name. Seems a little silly. So if you consider the fact that MInc surrendered, LN and CA having no one worth fighting from a strategic sense, SRA rebranded over something that Meth had zero influence on, and that no surrender was forced because it is literally impossible to do so -- then yes, it was a triumph for Meth. Outside that circle, I'm not sure many knowledgable players would concur.
  4. Then we probably shouldn't call it "Player of the Year". A shame, since rumors of this award was the only reason I came back. I nominate myself for "Player of the Moment" -- this one, right..... NOW.
  5. Sigh. As long as I'm back in this hellhole, might as well take care of a few things: PART I: THE DOE We're back! Same charter, same policies, same manifesto -- all the crap you never read in the old wiki entry is back in play. PART II: THE DOT The Declaration of Treaties: As you may recall, SRA has a rich history of treatying at people, not with them. Your compliance is not necessary. In keeping with our tradition of putting the sensual in non-consensual, we hereby treaty at PPO. We do something similar, albeit paperless, in the direction of Kashmir. (Additionally, we re-activate our 3/5th Clause with R&R, because it never got activated the first time and we haven't forgotten.) PART III: THE DOW Still trying to catch up on who's fighting who -- so I'll just dust off the ol' goggles and head towards whoever is fighting those parties listed above. Pretty sure you'll find me first. Am I arrogant enough to believe that my 3 infra will be the fulcrum upon which the tide of this curbstomp will turn? Hell yes. I'm plying Smurthwaite with alcohol immediately after the flip -- all the MP's of the opposing coalition are as good as decommissioned.
  6. I always thought "ceasefire" was the term for that.
  7. What were the outcomes/conclusions to these events: III%-LN War? white peace? Date? Atlas-MInc War? Outcome and date? MInc-TSO War? Outcome and date? DBDC-WTF War? Outcome and date?
  8. So we can't vote again? Or we delete our vote and re-vote?
  9. Actually, since the aid cap was raised to 6 million, no one deals in 3 MIL increments anymore. Rates have probably changed since it's a sellers market as well. You should check it out.
  10. Oh man, I'd love some more tech! Unfortunately, I am currently in a tech shedding mode, not a tech buying mode.
  11. Then for admin's sake lay out some evidence and make your case. If members of TCA are ghosting my alliance to fight you (and Xanth? Really?), that is no different than NoR guys ghosting yours to fight mine, or contracting with mercenaries. I don't think there is some NoR cabal to destroy SRA, and NoR has NO place at our peace table. Just because you believe this doesn't make it true. Evidence or stop, please.
  12. I know -- it's that facts, data and links to things that were actually said that trip you up. It's how the world works for the rest of us, though.
  13. Xanth -- this is Sigrun's new storyline regarding the Dre4m War, and Meth is fishing for information to back this story up. The story goes like this: TCA is a pan-alliance cabal that has made it it's mission to destroy Monsters, Inc. The Dre4m War is simply the latest installment in this orchestrated effort. When MInc attacked LSF? That was TCA's doing. When MInc attacked TSO? Again, this was TCA's effort to keep them at war. The fact that you, Killian and TDE ghosted TSO and fought Monsters in that war is evidence that Monsters was duped into it. Because you are all members of TCA. When MInc posted the Atlas screenshot that started the Atlas-MInc War? You guessed it -- TCA was the unseen hand that made it happen. They also used Lady Dakota as an operative to encourage Meth to switch to brown, along with all of his friends, and run for senate. They then had her sanction Meth and III% attack to keep Monsters at war. When peace was achieved, and Meth started a that dual with her, for which she sanctioned him? TCA's doing. At this point, Dre4m entered against Meth -- at TCA's bidding, certainly not because he was a signatory of the Bruin Concinnity. Or maybe TCA directed him to start that, knowing that Monsters would eventually fall into their trap. This of course led to the Dre4m War, which was entirely orchestrated as yet another way to continue the extermination of Monsters, Inc. Never mind that Meth called them in to attack us -- they are fairly sure I am either an unwitting dupe of TCA, or part of the cabal. The fact that there may BE no cabal set on destroying Monsters is not an option. If true, TCA has manipulated Monsters into attacking 3 or 4 different alliances, which, is really a strategic coup that is beyond compare. For SRA's part, we believe none of it. To be fair to Lord Hitchcock, he has not taken this line up to this point yet either. SRA's stance is that any TCA-aNiMaLz war is separate from the Dre4m War, which is separate from every other war involving Meth and Monsters, and Sigrun should stop using it to manipulate the peace talks. We are also done giving this conspiracy any credence by talking about it.
  14. I do that every time I try to type "Limitless". I've done it since I first added your flag and wiki page way back when. I don't know why, but I catch myself typing "limited" all of the time. It is unintentional, and I apologize -- that is not how I roll on the wiki. If you can point me to where I let one slip through, let me know and I'll fix it. Propaganda is propaganda, but the wiki is supposed to be something better.
  15. Atta boy, that's the spirit. Are you guys really calling yourselves the Limitless Coalition?
  16. That's why you shouldn't post it here, no matter what it reads like. Your intent should be propaganda. This is the propaganda thread.
  17. While that reads like propaganda, I'm not sure you intended it as such. This is the propaganda thread. Propaganda is taking this: And turning it into this:
  18. Congrats on this. What I just read. And welcome. Back.
  19. God, it's on the tip of my tongue. Vague threat of eternal war? Check You'd have to sell down to hit him? Check. Hmmmm... is there a larger nation bankrolling him so he can continue to be a thorn in your side in the lower tiers? That would be the trifecta. Still drawing a blank, dammit. Must be frustrating for you, though. I can't imagine what you're going through. Maybe if you tried to reason with him...
  20. God, he sounds so familiar, like someone I know. Can't... quite... put my finger on it...
