Well, since that has been the case since TPF was formed, except for a brief attempt at a triumverate, I am not entirely sure what change you believe has happened. The same with your "you are now like NPO" comment - other than the names this has been the system we have had for over a year.

In essence like an RTS? Although in C&C you might attack with a single soldier, that soldier actually represents a whole platoon or division or whatever (which is why they don't die from a single shot and usually have a "life-bar" - the bar represents the soldiers remaining in the group) That is how i have always looked at it anyway.

So, after reading the "Is this game more, less exciting post-karma war" poll thread, I was pondering: Should CN (the game itself) have a reason for fighting built into it. As it stands, there is currently no game reason for people to fight (other than tech raids), all the reasons for fighting are directly related to politics. So should there be for example either land reasons (like the hotspots, but only controllable by one person at a time), alliance reasons (eg the highest score/highest average/most tech/most infra/most land AA all the members get some sort of bonus (or all, highest infra gets an infra bonus, highest tech get a tech bonus etc) Thoughts?

If the negative is just cos it is the "wrong" way round, how can my expenses be so much more than my income (i certainly haven't had 6m of expenses) I have received some aid btw, which is why I have so much money - does aid somehow count as a negative expense?

I would guess the answer to this is: If the transgressors alliance is stronger than the one he has transgressed against, then no punishment will be meted out (or the decision will be made by the transgressors alliance that the individual will be punished - there wouldn't be any way for the transgressed alliance to punish the other alliance) If the transgressors alliance is weaker than the one he has transgressed against, then the punishment will be decided by the transgressed alliance Incidentally, does this change depending on whether the transgression was against a member of another alliance, or against another alliance as a whole?
