  1. That's not being hypocritical. Being hypocritical would be to continue professing (and in his case, supporting or permitting,) the same actions now while professing against them.

Not that you care, but Roquentin actually didn't care much at all for the sort of behavior you believe he has allowed/somehow made possible today while in power. That said, for you to pretend like doing something about it now is insignificant is just kind of pointless and dumb. Unless you like the way things are now, or something.

  2. jerdge, not my fault. Krack called me out.

Yes, I did. You consistently and conveniently leave out of your diatribes and impotent machinations that (1) you are the person primarily responsible for the state of Planet Bob that you incessantly complain about, and (2) you had no problem whatsoever with this type of behavior when you were an active participant.

You're the CN embodiment of the word "hypocrite" - and that's really saying something when you are talking about Cybernations and the OWF.

I don't understand how that makes him a hypocrite. You are essentially saying things never change.

Things have changed. Stop being intentionally obtuse.

  3. You really don't get it, do you?

i have never seen you add anything to any discussion ever other than repetitive buzzwords and riding the coattails of your relative betters

You've convinced me. I should just spam and mock the CN forums, troll everyone ic/ooc and then complain about getting my teeth kicked in when I get what's coming to me. If you haven't noticed by now, your opinion of me and/or anyone else is worthless and the time when you all could get away with the kind of !@#$ you have by singling out individuals is pretty much dead.

Every single post you make, you get weaker.

  4. What I enjoyed were the membership counts.

MHA lost 102. Iron lost 118.

    NPO gained 9 members.

While there is some acceptance of those on the losing side hemorrhaging members, those on the winning side should not lose more than a couple dozen. Membership count through a war is a fascinating window into just how strong a community is. IRON has quite a bit of work to do, that was just really, really sad. When you bleed nearly a quarter of your membership in a winning war, you have serious work to do, I'm sorry.

You're missing some pretty key context.

IRON also fought twice as long and did the bulk of the lifting against Polaris after the initial couple rounds, lost only 1.8k Avg NS while losing those nations and ~4 million NS. Compare that to 16k Avg ns and ~10 million NS.

Also, the insinuation IRON of all communities is somewhat lacking is just dumb. Probably one of the most tested communities on the planet.

For some reason I think we're just fine.

  5. I did not breach security at any time, that would be a felonious act. I simply abused the trust and access that was given to me.
I'm not sure if you think saying things like this is actually helping your cause any, but either way please do continue. To say this is entertaining does not even begin to describe.
There is a difference between one abuse of trust and using malicious code to gain unlawful entry to portions of a website
Of course there is, but ~merely~ abusing the trust people place in you as regards their forums still makes you a pathetic little scumbag so it's all cool.

At least I owned up to it?

    hahahaha. No.

At the very least after having to drag teeth across the cement, you shamefully downplayed it until it was just ridiculous for you to not admit it.

At multiple points telling some fibs along the way.

  6. Again, I'm not sure why we're holding the treaty webs current lack of liquidity against Roq. Any other time in history probably a lot more faux moral outrage etc. That said, pretending this isn't a big deal and doesn't have far-reaching overarching consequences is also just as wrong as the many MK government and regular members alike who denied these allegations.

Do you feel that the initial presentation and the follow-through contained enough of a punch? Are you satisfied with the event management methodology? Would you have done it differently? Was it a well run campaign? If it is not the entire campaign, do you think it is a good start to a campaign?

Yes. Besides, we're up for Nagasaki today.

I tend to not care on the methodology or management. It happened because of him... and could not have happened without Roquentin. That he has his own style is perfectly fine with me. Truth be told I probably audibly interview better, but he certainly writes better...probably better than most of CN. In case anyone hasn't been paying attention, he has responded to nearly every poster in his thread. From the hate-filled with a tinge of OOC attack posts, to the most nonsensical toadies.

Something we often forget is that Roquentin has nothing to lose. One could also correctly Sparta has also, very little to lose. This is the same MK that offered them an out to betray XX and then turned on them within a month. As for the whole Brehon interview, that was a setup. Bros looked bad enough by himself in that he portrayed himself to have lied and as Brehon did not get far enough into, inherently dishonest. (Again, I actually find bros to be a great guy and quite funny, but for IC purposes he still f'd the pooch.) Brehon and Roq have a history, and while Brehon will try not to admit it I know for a fact at least one of the two disliked the other before the interview took place and that it was bound for...eh.

That said, I don't think it looked as terrible as some would've hoped on Roq. The only thing was the really unobjective setup on having Archon come on afterwards and Brehon and him exchanging laughs and generally a huge contrast in terms of interview approach Roq received. (Again, anyone who knows anything about interviews could tell the difference in tone et al. )

As Roq stated quite prohpetically himself, he did more damage to the current power structure in a day than had been done in the previous year.

I think it was a great start to a campaign that had nothing to lose and everything to gain from the start. I patiently (hahahah, no.) await the next installment.
