What You Have All Been Waiting For...

A before and after of this war. A couple alliances accidentally got left off (GDA and NPL that I saw), and the Asg-Val merger threw off some numbers (I could probably fix it, or at least make it more accurate for "now", but it would be misleading in the before/after I was going for, I think anyway).

Couple of questions now...

Should I do this next war, too?

If I do, is there anything I should add?

What I enjoyed were the membership counts.

MHA lost 102. Iron lost 118.

NPO gained 9 members.

While there is some acceptance of those on the losing side hemorrhaging members, those on the winning side should not lose more than a couple dozen. Membership count through a war is a fascinating window into just how strong a community is. IRON has quite a bit of work to do, that was just really, really sad. When you bleed nearly a quarter of your membership in a winning war, you have serious work to do, I'm sorry.

You're missing some pretty key context.

IRON also fought twice as long and did the bulk of the lifting against Polaris after the initial couple rounds, lost only 1.8k Avg NS while losing those nations and ~4 million NS. Compare that to 16k Avg ns and ~10 million NS.

Also, the insinuation IRON of all communities is somewhat lacking is just dumb. Probably one of the most tested communities on the planet.

For some reason I think we're just fine.

Given past trends, I would assume that MHA and IRON stopped recruiting, while NPO continued. Though I haven't looked to verify this, I image NPO picked up a lot of new members during the war.

All that lost land. Too bad.

All that lost tech is a far greater crime.

Also, it's interesting to see how the losses are similar for the 100+ns nations, but totally disproportional for the 10k+ tech nations.

It would also be interesting to see what things look like now that rebuilding has started and a lot of the higher end nations have fixed all the minor damage like nuke and infra loss.

VE lost 10% or more of its membership while winning the war on Polaris.
