There are 3 things I look for in an alliance. 1) A community - I need an active and vibrant community that will both stimulate and entertain me. If an alliance isn't a community, or doesn't have enough active members in it, you will soon get bored. The fellow alliance members are probably the most important aspect of the game for me. 2) Loyalty - If you demonstrate your loyalty to the alliance, the alliance should demonstrate it's loyalty back. An alliance should value each and every member equally, and be just as willing to die for it's smallest nation as it is for it's leaders. 3) Free Speech - I have a right to express my beliefs on anything that people decide to bring to this public forum, and anything on the private forums of my alliance. If I maintain a level of respect towards those I'm disagreeing with I don't expect my alliance to ask me to be quiet, even if my views go against the majority. If you can find those 3 things, I think you'll end up enjoying being in an alliance more than you did being alone.

If you want to go deeper I'd imagine they're doing far less damage to you now than they would be once those 71 nations that seem to enjoy sticking around get Manhatten Projects. They're already up to 14.

Nobody wants you to bring your B game. They want you to stop mercilessly crushing something under the pretence that it's for Pacifican security. It would be a refreshing change just to hear someone stating the reason FAN don't get peace is because you don't like them. Instead we get the spiel about this 800k NS alliance being a threat to your security and no reasons as to why. Why do you see them as a threat to the behemoth that is NPO Vladimir?

Kind of NPO to donate $15mil every 10 days to the cause really. That kind of generosity could go a long way to mending the relationships.

Set up the nation with a few tech deals and ask him to pass on the $3mil out of the profit. If he refuses, steal it from him with a war.

I don't particularly like Rubber but it's ok. If I ever get to max infra then my trades will be some of the worst possible given how Marble would do literally zero for me at that point. Suppose it's needed for construction though. Will be dropping water for lead when I look for my new trade circle I think, not like I need the PPM bonus.

I'm glad to see NSO seeking membership to the Amber Accords. Whilst some alliances on brown may not see fit to jump straight into a new relationship with an MDP, working closely with them on brown economical affairs and strengthening the friendships should hopefully see the Terra-Cotta Pact represent another side to brown unity. lolpink |-o-|

This is a shame, I quite enjoyed my brief period working with Avalanche as a diplomat and on a couple of tech deals. Nice alliance
