  1. From my three months in the STA, I learned that backroom deals are nearly unheard of. If the STA doesn't like you, you know it very quickly. Congrats to MA, who obviously figured this out as well.
  2. While I suspect that's not the official NPO response, it would be rather if it were.
  3. And probably doing so without the agreement of their protector, which appears to be a violation of the agreement they have with the NPO.
  4. I'll move when I want to, thank you. But I do appreciate your clearing things up.
  5. I believe they might stop to wonder how a particular stain got on the bottom of their jackboots. Then they wouldn't think of it again. I realize now that you were referring to Nod's status as an NPO protectorate. Now that is interesting ... From Article III of the protectorate agreement:
  6. Did you consult with your treaty partners before making this particular statement? I ask because to me it looks an awful lot like a declaration of war. (Only you're too scared to say so.)
  7. It is not for you to argue on behalf of our Almighty Judges, the Swords and Shields of Our Lord Admin. Now where are the logs Dephire promised? My popcorn is getting stale. I believe he has to be made a Triumvir before he can be attacked, but I'll check GGA's Charter to make sure.
  8. He's your Minister of Defense and yet he doesn't speak on behalf of your alliance? He went out of his way to embarrass himself (and, by virtue of his position, his alliance) over a disrupted tech deal. "Follow the money ..."
  9. From their Wiki page: The answers to your questions would appear to be yes, yes and probably not. Just ignore the person from TOOL who said NSO's CB was legit. I wouldn't want to interfere with your feelings of righteous indignation. And, for the record, I have no relationship with the NSO. Their continued existence is irrelevant to me. But their reasons for this war are solid, backed by (now removed) evidence and supported by the alliance that was going to be CDC's protector.
  10. Is that you, Superman? The evidence was posted. You didn't see it. I did. Boo hoo hoo. Get over it. You realize that you've gone from "We did nothing" to "Maybe we were spying"? Your only argument then is that the NSO addressed this in a way that hurts your feelings. Please see my response to the individual directly above.
  11. Poor baby. There is no 'responsibility' to bring anything to your attention. There is no such thing as a 'convention' requiring an attempt at peaceful resolution. (The fact you keep mentioning this has convinced me that the NSO had every right to attack.) Like a child with its hand in the cookie jar, you are getting said hand slapped. I think you should be grateful Ivan Moldavi and NSO aren't being more harsh with you. Take your punishment and don't do it again.
  12. I've had no dealings with ES, but I am definitely among those who have become annoyed at the way various threads have turned into attacks on him. (And the attacks aren't even original. It's the same poor one-liners over and over.) He must be handsome to have so many stalkers. But of course the stalkers will say he's just "asking for it" by acting in such a provocative manner.
  13. A solid reason for war and a reasonable plan for its conclusion. The NSO are to be commended. If IRAN has any sense, you will be out of a job shortly.
  14. The STA allows raiding, but would-be raiders require a license. Also, there is no raiding of either White or Red team nations. (At least that's what I remember from my time there.)
  15. Don't ruin his fun. This could get interesting.
  16. And once again, someone in the GGA uses the "Look how cool my RL is" defense. Are you going to go sleep with scotchwithrocks' wife now? That will really make your point. I may just sig that. And all at your alliance's expense, although from previous GGA posts I will understand if you haven't figured that out yet. A day late and many, many dollars short. You may get them to start acting (not 'remain[ing]' as you say) respectful from this point forward, but I doubt the effects of the lead in the GGA's water supply can be reversed as quickly. This is not true for SWR, whose exposure to water has been minimal. (I've read the DJ logs a few times, and it's obvious that SWR's name is most apropos.) Nice try, scooter.
  17. This is very good news. Congratulations.
  18. It's not often that something I read here makes me really laugh out loud. Thanks. Also, I don't know whether this community should be proud or embarrassed.
