[/quote] Probably for the 967th time in this thread, we know we attacked some TPF nations (along with nations of other alliances) and we know ML had every right to attack us. Nobody has complained about ML doing that or said it's wrong/unfair/immoral/etc. We just decided to do something about it. The problem seems to be that whereas TPF (and others) declined to attack Umbrella and MK back, Umbrella and MK have decided to attack ML back, and because Umbrella and MK reacted to a situation differently than TPF (and others) means that we're hypocrites.

I don't think anyone (who matters) is saying ML can't do what they've done, after all remember we don't use the same antiquated 'rule book' as some of those arguing this, but merely that there are repercussions in doing so. I think it goes against what we stand for to tell someone that they can't do something, we just expect others to do as we do and accept the consequences of it. This is just a recognition of hostilities/acknowledgement of war (note: not a declaration of war) that became necessary when it was made clear that ML's original stance that they were attacking those going rogue (their interpretation) on TPF was untrue and that this was an alliance-wide situation. Yes Umbrella and MK have attacked some nations of alliances that declared on our allies. It isn't a case of double standards as it isn't our fault that TPF, CCC, Legion and ARES haven't posted a recognition of hostilities or acknowledgement of war and attacked us. We attacked those nations, ML attacked us. Just because we're prepared to take it a step further and do what CCC, ARES, Legion and TPF aren't doesn't mean we're butthurt hypocrites, in fact we're doing something about it rather than just crying on the OWF as most others do. Which to be fair ML haven't, it's just those looking to decry Doomhouse as usual.
