  1. Will this joke go much further? I think it will. /me waits for DoW on tC
  2. Personally I think this is another April Fools prank, but in the event that it's not, I congratulate pink on making their first step towards turning into Yellow! lol cause Jason8 looks like a hypocrite now
  3. Was waiting for someone to do something like this. Well played TPF, I congratulate you on your clever victory.
  4. Smart 1TF, allying yourself to the end of the world. Be it's friend and it might let you survive Apoc is awesome though, so many congrats on the new treaty, to both sides. :wyb: Jewel
  5. Complete accident, I haven't memorized the playbook yet I have no idea what you're talking about good sir
  6. lol, we were being called /b/ 3.0 right after the NOI/NTO merger last April. After 11 months of sovereignty without incident, when are these /b/ antics that make up our alliance going to surface I wonder? Thanks for the needless trolling, CD doesn't get much of that, so as the Trium of an alliance that is constantly being accused of being /b/, it's nice to see some people still give it the effort. Aside from all the posts that I've made in response to derailment in this thread, I am quite proud that we've signed this treaty with the NSO, and I look forward to bringing our relationship closer. Thank you to all the envious instigators who continue to remind us how awesome we are, you're a hoot. And thank you to all the people who evidently like us, you're classy and I like that, a lot. Much love. Also, no worries Branmir, I doubted his NPO on-forum affiliation just as soon as I read his post. I have yet to see the NPO act so tactlessly towards us. o/ NSO
  7. Congrats to Xanadu and TGR. Ro
  8. I just want to say, that whatever reasons that stopped people from speaking up in your place in this thread are beyond me. However, I do know that the alliances who have their concerns in this matter have brought them up with us in private, and we are doing our best to help them to understand our reasoning, and why we went for this. The points that have been brought up to us are very similar to the ones that you were making earlier, but you have since then been derailed from those points. So, what I want to say is, that you don't have to keep arguing. The issues that Amber Accords signatories have are being taken care of in private, and while I'm sure they appreciate your showing of support for them here, it is no longer necessary. I think of you as a friend, and I don't want to see you get defaced or hurt any more by this, and I hope they'd agree. I'd also like to say to those people that if they do feel their voice needs to be heard here, they should be doing it themselves without fear of consequence as Veneke and Mechanus have done earlier in this thread.
  9. I think one alliance falling is the same thing as an entire sphere falling Col. Brown is small, losing anybody would be hurtful to the economic situation. We have a better chance preventing that if we all defend ourselves together. Besides, having crappier trades once we've been taken down a notch will be much easier to cope with
  10. Since I like the 57th, and have talked to them a lot about this, I can say that I understand where they're coming from with all this. I am of the mind that since the foundation of Amber Accords, the alliances of the brown sphere, even in some ways including GATO, have grown together quite nicely. I think of all of Amber as my allies, and I hope they do the same for me. With that in mind, this treaty here gives us the opportunity to have the defensive prowess of most color sphere blocs. Terra Cotta is not an econ bloc. Our econ bloc is more unified and is working quite well together. CD moved to brown for that econ bloc and has put a huge commitment in getting it to work. However, having separate MDP and Econ blocs is not unusual or unheard of, just so long as the econ bloc is more open to admitting people in. Terra Cotta, in our eyes, has become a way to expand the horizons of brown without sacrificing the original purpose of AA, which is the econ bloc that has thus far made us truly unified. Logically, the next step in that unification is defense treaty, but how could you want that for Amber Accords when you won't even sign with the NSO because you don't know them? Amber Accords will continue to welcome new alliances, which this treaty hopes to attract, with open arms, while Terra Cotta itself makes it possible to get turned down. In terms of brown unity, which of these two treaties do you really think is more important? I would hope to see the NSO joining that bloc, as they, in this treaty, encourage it themselves. They probably should have done that from the beginning, but their methods for doing things here shouldn't be looked down upon simply because they weren't ready to commit to non-defense (and let's face it, Ivan doesn't have much experience in color sphere politics anyway ). In fact, I find that their willingness to support us all, militarily, is fairly impressive, considering we were all strangers to them when they offered it. Terra Cotta is here, if and when you're ready. In the meantime, I think we should all get together and form trade circles like we have been doing for the last few months!
  11. Spoken like someone who truly knows what's going on. I'll let the lolbrown comment slide too, since we only just passed you guys in the team stats.
  12. There are reasons CD is the only sig, and we understand why the Amber Accords alliances have not joined us yet. These are private matters for their alliances and we hope they join us soon. Whether or not Terra-Cotta grows, only time will tell.
  13. Wow, took me ages to post here. Happy to see this treaty is finally going through, and I certainly look forward to seeing it grow, hopefully the rest of Amber Accords likes it as much as we do Thanks to Ivan for writing this and getting it all organized. I look forward to working with you in the future, and I formally welcome you to the brown team! Let's pass maroon next, shall we?
  14. Congratulations guys. I'm quite happy for you! Also, a treaty with GR? I think I &*&^ed my pants after seeing that mermaid. Keep up the excellent work, you'll be catching us soon if we don't look out Shout outs to Auctor and Mayz, you're both awesome, don't stop.
  15. Glad you guys feel that way too Congratulations NSO, on the astoundingly early milestones! I hope you don't pass us too soon Also, I look forward to the neighborhood welcome party with you guys.
  16. I know only that the Green Lantern wears maroon underwear Congratulations guys! Tis a nice treaty if I do say so, much luck in the future.
  17. Wait, there's a NEW FEAR? /end lame joke Congratulations guys, FEAR is awesome, just try not to drag them into any wars
  18. Jeez, took you long enough Congrats guys Now kick Bob out and do it again in a few weeks
  19. You guys don't have enough officials. Congratulations to the newly elected!
  20. Should have said pie man And I think I know exactly the kind of attitude you're talking about.. I'm curious though what you mean by this intermingling of sorts. Our government doesn't really behave differently than the membership, other than exercising some authority every now and again. Is this what you mean or does the STA have something else in mind? I of course understand if you're not willing to share such information
  21. I have three questions. Cake or Pie? What did KDII do to get kicked out (if you can talk about it in public of course)? What was the secret to getting the STA to so pass my alliance?
  22. We learned that if you treat him like he's a !@#$% he leaves on his own. We had the opportunity to kick him many times, but this route was considerably more satisfying. STA, I'm highly disappointed that you guys will be passing us so soon Congratulations and I hope your growth continues!
  23. Congratulations guys. I, for one, like this UPN group, and think ODN is lucky to consider such a group friends. I'm also to believe, therefore and by proxy, that the ODN is a pretty cool group too, because the UPN likes them. For that reason, I shall say, this looks like the union of two great alliances and hopefully the start of a long lasting relationship. Much luck in the future to both of you.
