Congrats on 4 years...if that's a good thing, for any of us. I don't even remember the date or month I started playing, but I've been around since sometime late 2006, myself. Of course, I think I've had 5-6 nations and names in that time and I'm not a staple of the community. I applaud all of you who really helped forge history here. So, to 4 more years and hopefully admin will consider your thoughts on improving existing features!

Sounds like you guys are doing well and you're not discouraged by how tough it is out there. I first heard of Phoenix Rising several years ago. Well done and intriguing. Coming from a smaller alliance, it always fascinates me how one of the largest is able to maintain all the various divisions and manage to find quality people to both lead them and participate in them in order to hold it all together. PNN shows that NPO, despite their faults (all alliances have faults), is quite impressive. It's always the people that make an alliance but without those at the helm that have the time and vision to direct and lead, talent is wasted. Obviously, that's not the case in the NPO and I salute you guys.

Congrats to BMv2. True, mafia has been done before in CN but it didn't pan out. Those that are wondering if LCN here is affiliated with the former LCN of CC may be wondering because of the announcement banner. BMv2 came to me asking for rights to the irc channel and I gave it to him. After that, we began discussing a few things and I gave him the banner and a few other graphics, which is why you recognize it. Beyond that, there is no affiliation. BMv2 has presented himself as a highly motivated, hard working individual and I believe that he can have success with his alliance. BMv2, I wish you well and I'm happy to see this announcement!

[/quote] It's actually the same forums with an upgrade to 3.0.5, new skin, and new address. The forums changed hands a couple of times with Airgialla, Zenergy, and Some Chithead owning them for the last year and a half or so.

I'm proud to see all of this come together. A few months ago, we were nearly ready to fold. Instead, we got our act together and revamped the alliance with the future in mind. Ironically, the war helped us. It brought a lot of us back together at a time when we needed it most. o/ GUN!

In my experience, I've seen that it takes leadership to rally the majority of an alliance's membership base into becoming active. They have to set the tone and lead by example. It would be no surprise that the bulk of the membership of GGA is clueless because they probably don't visit the forums in the first place if it's truly been that stagnant and in such disarray over there. Whatever the case, I don't know the details, but I do know GGA has not been the alliance I once knew and respected for a very long time. If these guys care enough about the AA and want to try their best to turn it around, then I wish them well. It takes courage, dedication, vision, and bravery to make unpopular decisions in the name of the greater good. It appears that GGA needs this change so what have they got to lose?

Time for my 2 cents. All I can say is that this is awesome for GUN. Soon, we'll reveal our new Constitution and government structure, along with the first elected officials under that structure. We decided this would be a year of rebuilding and growth for GUN. Our objectives are to thrust ourselves back into the political climate and become more involved in the world. If it begins with a curbstomp on us, so be it. We won't walk away without attention or respect for defending our allies. We've been beaten down before and we've stumbled, but we've never fell. Onwards and upwards GUN! o/ *Never thought I'd see myself on the opposing side of ODN but that's how the treaty web works. Personally, I will always respect those guys regardless of this battle.
