Wouldn't be surprised to see lots of the GGA Splinter groups start to close up shop. I know in PhR the main motivation was to stick it to them and show we were better. The joy in leadership really went away when they started completely and utterly going down in flames. Anyways, sad to see you go etc. etc. etc.

So much for the whole "two friends sharing a beer, we might be canceling but we still love each other for reals" vibe UPN was going for. What a mess.

Can't speak about OG, but I know Symphony to be pretty awesome allies. So congrats!

While respecting that many players sincerely want to keep CN prosperous, I think it's a difficult road to travel. What was fun one year may not be fun the next, people move on, new things replace the old. If the overall mechanics and experience aren't someone's cup of tea anymore, then nothing short of an incredibly huge revamp will save it, and the revamp itself will probably turn off a large portion of the existing community. Maybe a reset, maybe moving from a once-a-day update to some sort of "action points" system that replenishes a bit every hour or so would spice things up, that's just off the top of my head and may not be feasible in the least. I for one will enjoy CN while it's here and appreciate the time spent without sadness whenever it should end. Let's not spend too much time fretting over how awful things are (not this thread in particular, just a general attitude towards this entire issue of "OMG LOSING PLAYERS!")

Some of the facts that have come to light about the voting process are almost forcing me to think that this "Poll" is some sort of fun irrelevant diversion instead of universal supreme truth that will inevitably force it's winner into a humiliating disbandment. FOR SHAME MK.
