  1. Slayer, I'll miss you. Hopefully you'll stick around on IRC so I can bug you every now and then. To some of the attacks in this thread, just wow. You go after a guy for this, and then level the same amount of attacks at him. If anything, that just makes you worse. There's absolutely no need for it whatsoever. Want to be bitter about an online game? Get off the internet.
  2. Amazing amounts of class WAPA. Good luck wherever you go King, with whatever you do. And I'm glad it worked.
  3. Don't term 5 and term 8 kind of contradict each other? Edit:: Yeah, someone brought this up...
  4. Batallion, you disgust me as a leader. What you would do out of 'love' for your alliance is horrifying and downright dishonorable. I see nothing of any importance being lost here.
  5. TSI, Terra Prime, and 64 Digits still remain in OPP, and from what I know, we do not intend to go anywhere. I know I would rather have 0 zero infra and be in OPP, then a lot of infra and not. Soldier, I don't support your decision, but I will not condemn it. It's your choice, however it is the duty of a leader to keep up morale during a war. Good luck rebuilding your damages. As for the comment to the guidance from TPF, none was sought. TPF was simply notified. I've asked for guidance from TPF multiple times during this war, and I've always received answers. In order to receive guidance, you must first ask for it.
  6. I must admit, TSI has gotten a couple messages from PC along those lines, but they haven't been from the government, so I've disregarded them as individual messages of fighters that are over-eager. I can't speak as to what TPF has been told though, but I can tell you that it's probably not reaching horribly far. I know that they have more communication with the PC government than I do, as I have little to no communication with them at all. Edit: The above post is not saying that the Poison Clan government is threatening this, just that TPF would probably receive more threats about this than we would, and would be more certain in knowing their legitimacy and talking about them.
  7. I view it as an obligation. When someone defends me, I defend them back. Period. Call it an unspoken obligation, but if more people had the same feeling, we wouldn't have seen mass cancellations like we did, and the treaty web would be a lot cleaner. I would never vote not to defend someone that had protected me, or given me help when I needed it. Even if OPP would have voted to not go in, TSI would have gone in on it's own. It's just how I operate. Edit: The disband rumor? I must be missing something. I know mhawk would probably give up his guns before he disbanded TPF, and we all know how likely that is.
  8. I would feel obligated to protect my protectors in any means. If I didn't want to protect them, I would have stayed a General Protectorate. But they have protected us from our infancy, and I owe it to them to return the favor. I could never sit back and watch my protector be destroyed while I sit in some happy place away from it all. That's just not right to me.
  9. Okay, first of all, TPF, you know I love you guys, but you attract trolling like a fat kid to cake. No matter what TPF does, it's fairly positive that someone will change it into a PR boost, some secret move behind the scenes, or a grab for power. I'm not saying it's fair, it just seems to be fact. And when it comes down to it, nothing I've seen in this thread trolling wise has surprised me. The goal these days is not to change TPF, as is has changed for all of those that wonder, but getting people to open their minds to accept it. Everything, when over analyzed and ripped apart, can be portrayed in a negative fashion. I however, would depress myself by constantly thinking that negatively. Now for the other side of this. To all the Trolls, TPF has quite a large war going on already. We, as their protectorate, are obligated to defend them. Under your reasoning, my 57 man alliance should have declared on Mushroom Kingdom, Federation of Buccaneers, New Sith Order, Poison Clan, The Forsaken Ones, White Tree, the Christian Coalition of Countries, and so many others that I just can't remember. Not only would I probably have been thrown out for even suggesting this to my alliance, but it would have been suicide, and we would have just been a burden rather than a help. Focusing on one area is better than throwing yourself at everyone. So instead, you take what you can handle. If TPF has even four nations that can help somewhere else, then they should completely honor their treaties and send them in defense. However, it doesn't matter who they declare on. If those four nations are fighting the Siths, then they would do no different fighting the Siberians. If there was enough to take on all of the Siths, and some TPF nations sitting around twirling their thumbs, then I could see your point. However, those four nations will be helping Molon Labe no matter where they go. And strategically, it just wouldn't be smart to have those four nations bring in three hundred and seventy seven more nations against TPF. I think they have their hands full already. There are multiple people on either side that aren't attacking every alliance touching their treaty signatories. Simply because it won't help the people you're trying to defend to spread your people out, rather than keep them unified. You knock down one domino at a time, not the entire stack.
  10. Private channels would have been used if they could have been ascertained. We did try to PM each individual member, and they basically all told us where to go. They didn't know it was sent as a message to the alliance, not just to them. So we decided to try more official communication methods. And it's an official delcaration, it's not meant to boost morale, or do anything other than inform. To inform the rest of Bob that our war with White Tree is over. I would rather do it this way than have to PM every individual government that could ever possibly be involved. It is a completely legitimate announcemet about the end of a war.
  11. Sakura, I've had some very pleasant talks with IS through my dealings with the members and Goverment. I would definitely enjoy fostering our communications.
  12. Concerning White Tree The forces of White Tree have fought bravely and honorably, despite their small size. After the war began, we were surprised to find that White Tree had no Government, no Forums, and no IRC channel, which made communicating with them very hard. However, we’ve managed to find a link between the two of us, and were able to talk about the war. Due to the fact that White Tree is so politically removed from Bob, we have decided to grant them full White Peace with no terms other than the condition that they stay peaceful for the remainder of the war, and do not aid warring alliances. This is not a surrender, but a cessation of hostilities after analyzing the situation in light of this new information. I would like to send a special thank you to JohnnyApocalypse from MFO, and CitizenKane from Poison Clan. Without their help, this would not have been possible. I hope that this event will encourage White Tree to internally organize, and hopefully someday we will see them as a fully functioning alliance. Signed for The Sasori Initiative: Shurukian, Empress Tokugawa Mitsukuni, Minister of Defense Signed for Terra Prime: Septer, Emperor
  13. Good show SSSW18! TSI also supports the Government of IRAN, Mogar and Manbearpig, and will provide any help needed.
  14. What you've said about TPF is completely untrue. It's nice to see how close you are to your protectors, and how well you've listened to what they've said. This upsets me. Your cowardice was shown at the beginning of this war with the reluctance to fight when the odds weren't on our side. You've continued this trend, and I could say that this announcement is almost expected, I just hoped it would never come. My respect for you was lost when I began hearing of you looking for ways to change sides to save your own nation. If I ever did such selfish things as you, Batallion, I would fully expect to be removed as a leader. Mogar has shown the spirit of a fighter, not backing down in any odds to protect those that protect him. This war isn't about your infra, it's about your treaty obligations, and your friends. You seem to forget that TPF has more wars right now than you can dream of, and you're complaining? For shame.
  15. You know, I do respect MHA, but if you're going to declare neutrality, you should probably stick with it. Otherwise, why declare it?
  16. There's 20 dollars on my nation, and that was a birthday present. That's it.
  17. I dislike bandwagoners. Even though you're not fighting, good show MHA. At least you offered something.
  18. I have always been the type of person that believes in upholding treaties. While leading The Sasori Initiative, I've only signed a few treaties. All of them have been with much thought and consideration. But when it comes down to it, I always made sure that I would defend that treaty partner in any situation. Tonight amazed me. Mutual Defense partners threw treaties out the window, and alliances decided to honor some pacts, but not others. It seemed like no one would stand to honor any pact, unless they were the agressors, the chosen ones to win this conflict. It was the Infra > Friends war, only with the sides switched. TSI was ready for the war, and ready to defend TPF. Most were willing, and waiting. And then mhawk stepped down from TPF. And every alliance I could think of declared on NPO. People threw out treaties with their infra in mind, not their friendships. When we recieved the message that mhawk had resigned to fight for NPO, and that we wouldn't have to worry about a conflict, my Minister of War sighed, and brought our Defcon level back up. Most online switched back their improvements, upped their Defcon, and went to bed. But the more I sat, the more it just didn't sit with me. When I signed the Protectorate Pact with TPF, I thought that it would mainly be them protecting us. And throughout that protectorate, they've provided us with everything I could ever dream of. I know I could have never picked a better protecting alliance. mhawk was always there to answer any question, any request. I know I could never lead my people thinking that I had abandoned the one ally that had made us who we are. I would never be able to hold my head up knowing that I had ran from my obligations, my friends. But I cannot ask my alliance to remilitarize. It is too great a cost. It is with this announcement that I step down as Empress of The Sasori Initiative. Until this war is over, I will fight. And when I return to TSI, it will be with my head held high, and hopefully my citizens will have a respect for me that others will not gain by hiding. I hand control over to Tokugawa Mitsukuni, who will lead well, and Kharn, our MoFA. I know they will cheer us on from the sidelines, as any good friend would that cannot fight. Signed, Shurukian
