    Meh I have always found chestbeating (on all sides) crass, undignified and in very poor taste.

    I am always still pissed at Orrple, as a rank and file member of ODN at the time I complained bitterly at what I saw as the short-sightedness of our leaders at the time...a point of view borne out by the subsequent growing isolation of ODN/Legion and the smackdown we got in GW3 More like a certain faction within ODN actively planned against IRON, I know for I was a member of that faction. It was never as clear cut as having the whole of ODN supporting what the faction did, it caused the departure of many and much hostility within the democratic assembly.

    Personally speaking as a TLR member I welcome IRON to the fray, CN got interesting enough again recently for me to be a little more active so it is a win win ;)

    While I have no idea as to the reason why DoD was chosen (come on active govt members...answer the man), I can try theorize as to the timing as I suspect the proper reason for our date of entry into this conflict is the fact we are a collection of inactive bums and it has taken this long to get our shit in order. People had to be literally dragged out of the retirement homes for this. Perhaps, would you care to confirm whether your crew is indeed the soft option?
