1. Unfortunately I cant say the same. Scaring people with the return of the big bad 1v/q/NPO is rather passe and fairly uninspiring piece of empty propaganda. I would expect better things. Keep fighting the good fight xD
 2. All hail the old evil! o/ You get an EZI! And you get an EZI! EVERYBODY GETS AN EZI! \o/
 3. It indeed is out of character for NPO, as we are a very formalist alliance during history. I dont expect many of such situations we have here in the future, if any. It also should have been noted clearly by now, that NPO is not seeking reparations of any kind on any of our fronts. Words of our Emperor, backed by our wars in post karma years in which we were victorious. I hope that by in large, others fallow such model as well. As ones which dealt crippling reparations and are for ever burden by that rightfully so, as well as the ones upon which crippling reparations were utilized at this point NPO couldn't be more informed about the negativity of such practice first hand. Our jackboots march only on the battlefields. Once peace is settled, they are used only for parades on our main square.
 4. I am a formalist as well, indeed I personally would have liked that a formal DoW was posted, clutter or not, but it changes absolutely nothing in the psychical or political realm. We have obviously intervened on the behalf of AI, based on our treaty with them. Blowing this out of proportion is a propaganda tool, which is highly ridiculous. I hope in the future we make this official piece of paper, even if it is post fact due to the speed of our reactions, just so to help in a small way to cut down on stupid shit being posted here.
 5.
I think we've both lost our patience with some of this.
Just also to say one thing. Although I am finished with the issue, as stated in my previous post, I just want to say that you dont actually need to read stuff that do not interest you. Just saying. I didn't post or follow a thread in ages, and I felt to be some active. So I entertained myself with a certain exchange. You can just skim it. btw. My apologies for making it sound that a policy in argument from Umb is the only one in history. There was one else. One. Else. I wanted to highlight the rather high rarity of it, which I didn't express the best way.
 6.
And this is where we are not communicating, since Umbrella taking 3 slots prevents AI from taking 3 more slots which means damage is spread out to Umbrella as well as AI instead lf just on AI, so AI takes less over all damage, thus invalidating your claim that this move hurts AI more.
It allows a rogue to go into peace mode to restock on nukes, as well as it allows the rogue ability for more pick and choosing of nations to hit beyond the point where he should have. As "BIBO" lasts for a round usually, the second time around Umb isn't actually sharing the damage any longer. Coupled with diplomatic doors being closed from you on this, for clarifications and talks of possible implementation with foreign alliances, this is problematic. Why its not wide spread. But yes, we have war now and yes lets have fun. So yes, thats all ill have to say on it.
 7.
And that's where we disagree. I don't see Umbrella's application of their policy as being inherently wrong because it was in conflict with another party's application of their policy.
We dont disagree, as much as we obviously are not communicating. You made a statement how Umb "BIBA" policy can not be taken as inherently wrong. I explained quite clearly that it can be, due to the fact that it inherently comes with the consequence of enabling more damage for the injured alliance. That is wrong and that is an irrefutable fact. There is a reason why this world does not operate that way when in regards to rogues. Why it has been as such for 7 years now. Why Umbs policy is so unique and isolated. Its because its wrong to others during rogue attacks.
 8.
Why? Because it's predicated on the notion that Umbrella's BIBO policy and its application under these circumstances was inherently wrong or ill-intentioned.
Its wrong as it enables the rogue to do more damage to the injured alliance. Why? It allows him the ability to slip into peace mode, as "BIBO" doesn't include staggering, so to re buy nukes and go out of anarchy for more offensive wars.
 9.
BIBO is not intended to be forever, just a round or two depending on things, hense no stagger.
What I wanted to convey the most, in my posts, is that in case when one has a unique policy in the world regarding a serious issue it may cause friction with the rest of the world which isn't directly tied or friendly with you. Why? Well your unique policy may not be understood, but as well, in certain situations enable more damage for the injured alliance. So, in such cases it should be in your modus operanti to approach injured alliance to make clear you intentions and to work out a way to implement them if possible, But you just do it without care. Flaunting your strength. Well, that will eventually lead to war.
 10.
Umbrella hits BIBO targets hard.
But doesn't stagger. Big problem for targeted alliances and why your definition of hard is not satisfactory for them in case of dedicated big warchest rogue attack on them
but that is shows that BIBO targets will be hit, regardless of the situations surrounding them.
Yes, the inflexibility which is in this case and under this circumstances a serious problem.
Stop acting like Umbrella did some uber dastardly thing here.
Where have I done that? You must have misunderstood me.
 11.
Kowalski, a beloved Umbrellan and signatory of BIBO, left us for our good ally in VE. He was hit and nuked.
Good ally being key words here (also no rogue!). But the practice in case of non allies, because it goes against common norm established during now 7 years when dealing with rogue nations, can be (and in this case obviously is) not accepted especially under circumstances it took place (mainly speed fallowed with no stagger). Hence, the war.
BIBO is not about completely destroying one of our own. That would just be dumb.
Well, then its not really "BIBO" then. You should rename it to something more appropriate. But of course, that is open to personal understanding of the phrase. Thanks for the clarification though. Your own did managed to start a war, as he wished (referring to his comment in his "DoW" thread).
 12.
Seems to me like Umb was faster at implementing their policy than Ai.
Yeah, within 4 minutes. That is some speed. One would thing that someone so efficient, and dedicated to Blood in Blood out would also stagger. How else to get the Blood out part right.
Also seems to me like Ai and friends are ready to start a full blown war against anyone who doesn't follow their policy.
Common policy during the history of the world. Its not uniquely only theirs.
But... Wasn't it precisely what DH was being criticized about?
Its criticized due to going against the commonly established standard with its unique approach. P.S. You are not as clever as you think. Obviously we all try to spin for our sides here, it would be dishonest to say different, but yours is very primitive. Leave this to someone else.
 13.
Add in the timing of the declarations by Umbrella and it was clear that puppets tipped them off when he was going to be coming out of PM.
Yeah, for me this is the biggest issue. It clearly indicates level of coordination. When you add a blown stagger, it does seem they wanted to help the guy last longer and be able to choose AI nations to hit. Well, be it as it may, we now war. As highlighted in the DoW, more then anything this was just a tipping point in a series of incidents in dealing with Umb in which alliances DoW-ing feel they have been wronged.
 14. This should be a fun war. A nice global conflict ahead--- this is why we are here. Enjoy everybody. o/
 15. Agenda of Chaos, shall not be tolerated by agents of Order. I am a goddamn poet xD If you dont get it, think about it looking at the picture and you should eventually get there. Until then, keep on chewing on that.
 16. All I got from this thread is that the new way to try to "insult" Pacificans is to say that they are "yes man". This is the evolution from the years old "drone" comment. Evolution at its best. xD Also Waarrrgh. Glad to see NPO and NSO together on the field of battle.
 17. Well, this isn't actually that bad of an OP. Its decent propaganda with a nice rally call. It just lacks organization and support among spartans to actually be the real deal. So the author, did he managed to accumulate support, could have give us a fun coup. Without that, its just a thread for a quick glance.
 18. Not really funny. Shame, despite that I appreciate the thread, or rather attempt. So, cool story bro.
 19.
The more Australians sitting on the throne of alliances, the better this world gets.
Wait,....isn't Dajobo a Swede, that as any good Swede, likes handball? My world view just shattered,... Congratz.
 20. With whom will I now appreciate the immortal flawless beauty of Gillian Anderson,... Terrible. My condolences.
 21.
I think the only real complaint here (more like an observation) is the build-up for something that isn't even close to a game changer.
Game changer? lol What you projected to Brehons short and rather vague thread about this, and his posts of reflection on Francoism filled with grammar mistakes despite proofreading from others ,...is your own problem to put it bluntly.
That may be what everyone finds so ridiculous about the whole affair.
Well, no not everybody. I find something else rather ridiculous.
And in the end all you've really managed to do was send the GPA into peace mode.
While I do not know if GPAs military drill had anything to do with us, I do know we inspired two major major mega ultra alliances to comemorate their mutual bonding with our mega cool theme. edit- A jab, not needed, edited out.
 22.
Looks like these two alliances have no ball to play a "real" war. You both are pathetic. NPO was bold and tall, but now is pathetic. Sparta, they have not changed a bit.
Yes that must be it! trolololololol I wasnt a fan, but man, did this thread changed a lot hahahaha Gold mine. Thanks and keep it coming. Brilliant.
 23.
Cute name.
Emulating is a highest form of flattery after all, mein Emperor. Congratulations on the treaty. It seems a natural fit, at least to me. Cant say what maybe other people expected (or hoped), but I expected exactly this. Its cool beans two major alliances couldn't find any other theme, but our own for such a momentous occasion in their mutual relationship. Very nice. Hope all the best to you two.
 24.
I chose to honour Good Brehon and his cryptic message with a mildy cryptic allusion myself. I guess Babylon 5 is too ancient for many,. Sigh.
I recognized your quote when I read it, and appreciated it. B5 was cutting edge, I really did enjoyed it greatly back in the day. I am sure Brehon appreciated it as well, being ex Grey Council after all, but then again thats why you posted it probably
