Given all the fuss I decide to get a bit of data and see what the deal is. I listed the member counts of lesser known alliances and put significant alliances in bold. I might do the number of aid deals later, for not it's just every alliance that has any active foreign aid with The Gremlins. Added number of aid transactions, and sorted by that.

Federation of Allied Republics (86 members) 14

Fallen Knights (20 members) 6

Mostly Harmless Alliance 4

Sanitarium (5 members) 4

R&R 3

Army of the Twelve Monkeys (28 members) 3

The Democratic Order 2

Filipino Heroes 2

Peoples Order of Truth (38 members) 2

SOS Brigade (45 members) 2

The Ninjas (21 members) 2

Global Democratic Alliance 1

Multicolored Cross-X Alliance 1

NATO 1

Nordreich 1

Nusantara Elite Warriors 1

Poison Clan 1

Regnum Invictorum 1

Sparta 1

World Federation (134 members) 1

All for Yellow (9 members) 1

Alliance Of International Defence (23 members) 1

Black Water Military Contracting (3 members) 1

Blue Turtle Alliance (12 members) 1

Bushido (26 members) 1

Celestial Being (14 members) 1

Citadel Trading Company 1

Conservative Politically Allied Countries (18 members) 1

Darkstar (14 members) 1

IAA POW (1 member) 1

IRON POW (3 members) 1

League Of Imperial Nations (6 nations) 1

Phoenix Rising (143 members) 1

Saint Patricks Brigade (27 members) 1

The Blood Brothers (19 members) 1

The Confederation Of Canada (42 members) 1

The Indigo Plateau (16 members) 1

The Mafia 1

The Order of New World Domination (11 members) 1

World Task Force Applicant 1

Conclusion: There are a hell of a lot of alliances I've never heard of.

New conclusion: roll FAR.

You're count is off for sanitarium, there aren't five people doing deals with them, there is only me doing four deals with them.

Alternatively, you could recognize the correlation between your alliance having 5 nations on its AA and the phrase "5 members".

Yes i could have but my first though was he was looking through the foreign aid and mistook me doing four deals for being five deals. Because if an active person does deals they would normally be doing five deals at a time not four with an unused slot. But again i mis-read the first part of the blog.

I've heard of the vast majority of those alliances. The ones I haven't heard of at least in passing:

All for Yellow (9 members)

Darkstar (14 members)

The Order of New World Domination (11 members)

Fallen Knights (20 members)

League Of Imperial Nations (6 nations)

The Indigo Plateau (16 members)

To be fair though, there are more AAs with fewer than 20 members than there are grains of sand on the beach, or so it would seem. Some are actually decent folks (AOD Brigade, DAAN, Blood Brothers) while others are total wingnuts who don't know what they are doing, and others still are alliances-of-one. Some alliances of one are actually respected, believe it or not (PPF). Others (Pax) need to be rolled. :P Yes, I have a history with that one.

Multicolored Cross-X Alliance

Its embarrassing and a mark against us, my personal apologies IRON. I'm glad its just one member we have doing a tech deal with GRE.

edit: I would love this

One member screwing up shouldn't be a black mark on the whole alliance, SCY. Well, unless it's an alliance of one.

Tis true, we at MCXA, are just 240 mutlis done by one person.

Doing all those people on IRC at once is really hard though <_<

Also, for the record I don't think a tech embargo will work unless you get way more people. There's just too many small alliances out there that can sell and Grämlins will find them.

This is a good list of people to roll and or "mass tech raid"...

Well, It's a good list of people who should be considered for such ventures.

I would recommend against that course of action. :)
