Kankou
I'm not open to allowing nations such as Pax Pacifica having SDI coverage over almost half of the Pacific despite almost next to no land to cover the region, or to a regime where nations are already being warred upon over massive territorial waters that exceeds anything that has been accomplished in RL. Therefore, I am against this proposal.

Long standing precedent. [/quote] And thus why I am going to block your proposal as much as I can. The concentration of power is already enormous, and I do not want it to get even worse. Also, not even the US Pacific Fleet can cover half of the Pacific. In a world where we would need at least three nations to equal the Pacific Fleet, do you really think that having SDI coverage over all territorial/economical waters is realistic in the first place? Anyways, I am for this suggestion, but use a 200nm boundary around mean sea level rather than water boundaries. Missile defense don't engage over the target area anyway, they engage before a missile reaches its destination. Zoot Zoot
Well going by IRL 200nm is the farthest you can claim an EEZ unless you can proove your nation sits on a continental shelf.

Sargun II
Too much iffiness. I'll just put my navy out 1000 miles away from my borders, k
Michael McBride
I'm not a fan of the SDI proposal, namely because it makes things more complicated. Just keep it with land borders the way it is now and keep things simpler. If we adopt your proposal, then that opens up a whole new argument about EEZ's and more rules and it just becomes a cluster$%&@. Let everyone just have their EEZ's for now and not have it affect anything and keep the SDI's covering your land, not your water. Cool? Cool. Yawoo
I just want to remind the GMs - the rule was changed awhile back that when people are requesting rolls a screenshot is required. Seems we've been a little lax on this lately and I think it prudent to correct it. Also, no to Zoot's suggestion.

Kankou
I have a question concerning non-state groups: From now on, I'll be involved in several groups that are not related to my main RP nation (Greater Korean Federation). Would it be possible to take parts of my total military counts towards having troops and equipments for the groups not related to Korea? An example will be the Teutonic Knights, since I plan on having full military capacity be part of the order.
