[IMG]http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc272/GhostRazor/CommanderSomonovSmall.png[/IMG][/center] [left]In the newly minted capital today, General Valinkovo Somonov announced - following a free election in the region - that he was to be Governor of the State of Khislav. Several days prior he worked tirelessly to come to an agreement with the Slavic Union for peaceful secession. The terms of these agreements are as yet unclear, but one thing is obvious: the people have spoken and wish to rule themselves. Little is known of the new Governor's history, save his exemplary military record and obviously strong work ethic. For now, at least one thing is certain, he and his cabinet (including notably Ms. Veronika Tatarin as Minister) have given this small, diverse, former corner of the Slavic Union a nation to call their own. All are invited to send their esteemed delegates to tour our nation. A very special thanks goes to the wise leadership of the Slavic Union for enabling some of it's people to practice self-determination. *PRIVATE* Khislav would gladly accept any aid the GDR might have to offer.
