*TOP SECRET*

A unit of the Drenthe National Guard attacked elements of 15th division for the second time in one night at Hoogeveen. A couple of shots were fired back and forward and the unit withdrew under the cover of darkness.

They have announced to perform these kind of attacks more often in order to damage enemy morale and coordinate their attacks with Allied HQ.

*Classified*

Average moral of the common trooper in the 15th division is quite high. Following their last orders from army HQ relayed from Rotterdam through the 4th Division the troopers know how things are going to play out.

Small skirmishes are dealt with quickly by rifle shots at any figures that appear armed. Only 14 are lost in total.

News of the destruction of the 9th Dranaag Company reached the Dalamatia Forward Air Command in no time. In response, Captain of the Forward Air Forces, Ljeck Kristof, ordered that all available air forces be directed towards the enemy formations (OOC: 15th Dranaggan Division) in the north. Basically, the entire might of the Dalamatia Airforce assigned to this conflict would be brought down on the enemy divisions there.

The Su-34s prepared for the next air offensive. They refueled their forces and reloaded their munitions. The Su-34s were equipped with guided bombs and air-to-ground bombs. These were mostly the same as before, basically anti-personnel/anti-armor cluster munitions. The Tu-160 Heavy Bombers would reconfigure their internals cargo bays, completely. The Tu-160, four in all, would be equipped with 2,000lb guided bombs, which would completely overwhelm, if not, destroy the enemy.

When the fighters and bombers were prepared, the next phase of the Dalmatia Air Support began. Each of the Tu-160s and Su-34s launched into the blue skies, with only one goal. The utter destruction of the 15th Dranaggan Division.

**Airborne Assault**

The 20,000 Troops from the Dalmatia Rapid Deployment Force assembled into their heavy large transport aircraft. Every other soldier was equipped with the basic Surface-to-Air Missile launcher and Anti-Tank Guided Missile. Three other transport aircraft would deploy the light self-propelled artillery guns and light tanks, which would be used as support. Their goal was simple. They would conduct a massive air drop between Apeldoom and Amersfoort.

They would then advance to engage an enemy division (OOC: the 8th Dranaggon Division) to push them back into the sea. It would be a daring move, but with the tactical air support assigned and with morale high, they believed the operation could be completed. When the massive air armada came within reach of the area, the massive air operation began.

The Dalmatia Rapid Deployment Troops hit the ground first, getting into their pre-planned positions to begin for the offensive. After the infantry landed, the light IFVs and light artillery landed. They would be assisted by parachutes, to ease their landing. As soon as the Airborne troops launched, they headed towards their destination, to engage enemy troops in the west.

In the skies, the Su-34 flew over, just in time to begin the ground bombardment, to help the airborne forces. This time to help in the bombardment, Su-34s were equipped with Fuel Air Explosive Bombs, to completely wipe out the enemy. The push to the west had begun.

OOC: malatos :awesome: Won't this massive rolling bombing be bad for the guys deRaad has in the outskirts though? :P

The 15th Division had ditched its equipment in the town of Hoogeveen, and left the engines to run. The infantry had fanned out to the East of the town expecting additional air strikes. 154 casualties were recorded in the town, and a further 521 casualties from bombings. Troopers waited though for the correct time to move.

At Utrecht, 4th Division snipers on the East side of the city observed the approaching bombing waves start to decimate the towns and suburbs leading up to down town. Radioing in the approaching attack 4th Division troopers spread into their entrenched positions. 8th Division, on the West side of the city, was informed, but does not make any motions to reveal themselves in the smoke clouds.

Your planes are to land in Krieg/Allied Controled land:

Eindhoven, Arnhem, Apeldoorn

As the pilot received the locations, he looked at a map display situated on his map. Confident that his bearing and co-ordinates were correct, he directed the flight towards Apeldoorn.

"Roger that, *to co-pilot* turn six, *back to Krieg* we're on it! Looks like a mad house down there, over."

Cutting the mic again, the pilot addressed the wing of airlifters.

"Magic-4 here, LZ is situated ## klicks NE... Apeldoorn." The man struggled to pronounce the alien name.

"LZ may be hot, I say again, LZ may be hot. Just drop our boys down and then we'll get the others!"

We would like to request that NoN ships move to the port of Antwerp, Brabant. Distance to Apeldoorn is 209 kilometers (via Eindhoven, Nijmegen, Arnhem)

*SECRET* The NoN Cargoships, previously several kilometers off the coast of the Zeeland Province, headed west towards the port of Antwerp, Brabant (OOC: wouldn't I be passing through the Delta Works?)

After the capture of Groningen, we ask that you send a detachment to Leeuwarden, in Freisland. Expect little to no resistance. Once that is complete, we will control Freisland as well."

Without accurate locations of the 4th division, that was taking casualties from Dalmatian bombing, most of the Krieg artillery fell on blind targets. While the bombers caused over 1000 casualties to the 4th division. Artillery losses numbered only 22.

The 15th division finding the town of Hoogeveen quickly vaporizing under sustained multiple air force's bombing and artillery strikes ditches their heavy equipment, to act as dummy targets, and head East toward the Prussian boarder. 1500 casualties are reported in divisional HQ.

Allied HQ:

"15th seems to be taking heavy losses. Send scouts for confirmation of retreat. If so, new orders as follows:"

Simple:

1- Mass all armor and men outside Utrecht

2- Use ALL Artillery and Aircraft and bomb the living daylights out of them until they litter the streets with dead Dranagg bodies.

Krieg, CAU, and Austrian Artillery:

Noting that our scouts report little damage on enemies, all avalible artillery will now be moving towards Apledoorn. Approx. counts of the 3 nations artillery number in 100s+, hopefully enough to do SOME damage.

(OOC: More then 22 wandering soldiers >.>)

We see a vantage.. We ask that all NoN naval forces land in Noord-Holland to flank the enemy in Rotterdam and Utrecht..

Landing should be somewhere near Den Helder or Beverwijk, possibly Haarlem.

Requesting Dutch confirmation on avail be landings for NoN's Heavy invasion force.

## Operation Noontime Midnight ##

At standoff range, bombers which had been positioned by the Dragon Empire in Germany for the Austrian mission take to the air. An entire wing of Leviathan Class bombers (B-52H equivalents) and their ridiculously over sized payloads take to the air. They're each carrying a payload of 12 bunker buster and/or anti-personnel/armor cruise missiles. Each missile is targeted to a bunker or mixed arms cluster.. some bunkers.. the ones with the heaviest AA build up around them.. are assigned two of the missiles in case one is shot down. Targeting has been performed by Military Intelligence based on changes to the observed state of the city since the start of the conflict according to satellite reconnaissance. The 180 bombers drop a total of 2160 incoming ordinance packages.

They are launched in a timing pattern that would co-ordinate their arrival to the second. Half would roar over the 8th and 4th divisions in Utrecht.. and make a wreck of things.. the other half, a much lower bunker buster concentration.. hit Rotterdam mixed arms concentrations. The Empire did not declare war, to them this was simply a policing action in support of their allies. They would let Dranagg decide if it wanted to declare war on the Empire for this action.

*Classified reports*

The attacks on Utrecht add more destruction to the city. Divisional HQ for the 4th Division estimate 485 casualties from the attacks when a aid station was hit in its location in a old hotel.

The 8th company reports 261 casualties from the sudden attack.

In Rotterdam the 1st division reports are of only light casualties due to their positions outside of the city, only 98. However severe damage was found to buildings converted into shelters for the civilians that arrived from Utrecht. Casualties in the buildings are unknown, but estimates are bad. Dozens of buildings around the city were lost.

*classified movements*

During a lull in the bombings 4th division begins to move out of their bunkered spots and head west towards Rotterdam. Buildings in their wake, if not already destroyed, have their demo charges, placed before the bombardments, detonated to block roads and access in the city behind the 4th Division.

8th Division also starts moving westwards, but not farther than the edge of the city limits of Utrecht.

Next to this, if dikes around the big rivers are also blown up, then most rivers would flood the area around it as well.

*Secret note to allied forces*

Austrian forces have reorganised near Doetinchem and will now begin moving towards Utrecht. Air-support is available, 10 bomber and CAS squadrons can be called upon. Give them targets and they'll bring hell to the enemy.

*End of*

In fact, three of these squadrons would already fly sorties against Dranagg's forces near and in Utrecht after scouting flights determined the locations of enemy forces. Laser-guided bombs would be used to annihilate any tank or other enemy vehicle that came into view, while cluster munitions would be deployed against infantry in open fields.

*Message to Allied Command*

It will be simply impractical for us to move three legions by air, so we have decided on deploying them by sea. Our forces are enroute, but it will take us a substantial amount of time to arive.

Since we do not have a standing navy, freight ships from the State-owned import/export company have had to suffice. When we approach the Dutch coast, we will need to utilise someone else's landing craft, lest our men are expected to swim to shore.
