Russians make up about 2% of the Heer in Yacrania, and so far they have shown the same aggresion and hate as their German colleagues. The Wehrmacht can certainly distinguish between Russian militants and civilians, though we do wonder where Slavorussia gets this idea. These Russians have shown litle to no respect for Germans, and actively attack patrols consisting of Germans only, rarely if never attacking ones with Russians. We don't know why they continue to fight, either because of our generous Communist regime or if they are simply out to eliminate Germans, we don't kow. For the Wehrmacht, all their duty is is to eliminate this rebellion.

Any questions you may have had regarding the Russian people's reasoning were just answered by your own statements. Furthermore We've noticed that soldiers from several nations being sent to Yacrania, which concerns us greatly, but we trust they will stay within your territory and not venture into ours.

OOC: No problem. It will mainly just be me hunting down a rogue pro-Russian general while he tries to get arms to the rebels. Now, let me just think of how to start.

OOC: And so it begins.

IC: Colonel Vladimir Sanayev was a relic of a younger age. He began his career in the old Marscurian Empire, and while stationed in the north, he began to develop pro-Russian sentiments from Estovakia and Slavorussia. When he heard of Yacrania, and the state of the Russians in the country, there was little he could do to hold himself back. Watching the news, he saw that his first shipment of weapons had reached the rebels, and he was ready to try another shipment as a test. If this one went according to plan, he would try a little larger prize. Like he had done before, Vladimir casually walked into the headquarters for Marscurian Military Works and proceeded to the sales department on the 10th floor. "Yes, I have another official order to place," he said to the sales representitive, "I need another 5,000 RPG's and 10,000 MPAR-74's to Yacrania to help quell the rebellion."

"I'll need to see official authorization as always Colonel. I need either the authorization of the Sultan or Chief Kayani."

"Of course," Sanayev said, pulling out a folded piece of paper. It contained a forged signature of the Sultan with orders to deliver all weapons needed to stop the rebellion. The weapons were taken out of the inventory stock at the MMW factory and transported under the watchful eye of Col. Sanayev himself. He followed them to the port of Mietonka and watched them be loaded onto a freight ship to Yacrania. It was only when he knew that the weapons were safely loaded did he dispatch his "security officers" onto the ship. While the crew thought that they were there for protection from the rebels, they were actually ordered to take control of the ship and make sure that the rebels received their weapons. When the ship departed, Sanayev got on his satellite phone and called Dmitri. "Your weapons are on their way," he said, "just make sure they get into your hands. I have everything under control from my end, it's all up to you."

OOC: Do the rebels control a port, or will I have to unload the weapons by small boats?

"Roger that. We will make sure that they don't cause too much damage to the FlaK emplacements" replied the Colonel as she saluted by bringing her right arm up parallel to her forehead before dropping it down into place. She quickly about turned and ran back to where her soldiers and APC's were just completing their disembarkation, "Ok listen up men we got incoming hostiles with the intent to either destroy or capture these weapon emplacements. It is our mission to ensure that this is not accomplished, secondary objectives will be the neutralisation of any enemy officers. Lets set up kill zones asap" she ordered and her men moved to obey.

Following her orders the small armed force moved out to set up defense positions with at least one Bradley APC over lapping fire with a squad of men where it was possible by the time ten minutes had passed their were numerous kill zones in place and any attacking enemy forces would have to run a gauntlet of weapons fire to reach the FlaK emplacements.

Now they just waited for the enemy to appear.

As with the patrols, a sniper team set up in a destroyed apartment building nearby. The two shot off a warning shot from their Mosin-Nagant to tell the rest of the forces to move in. Whistles blew as the extremists poured from the destroyed building, forcing the Wehrmacht to take evasive action, one team even using the FlaK as an anti-personnel weapon. Several armed with RPGs began shooting off wildly, hoping to hit something before reloading and firing again.

At least half a dozen soldiers armed with M14's spotted the muzzle flashes from the end of the Mosin-Nagent's and zeroed in on the sniper's positions. Lining up they all fired a rough number of rounds into the target area punching through the walls to try and kill the snipers. As for the charging extremists the mercenaries sent concentrated automatic rifle fire into the charging masses whilst the SAW armed soldiers traversed their line of fire across the whole line of extremists using their superior fire rate to suppress the enemy. The Bradley's meanwhile were forced to fire on any RPG team sighted as they were a minor threat to their safety though it would take a lucky shot to destroy one of them from the front. Colonel Eos couldn't believe the tactics being used by the extremists as even taking in the fact that they would normally had been engaging less superior weaponary it was suicide to launch a frontal assault espically with her advanced forces in the area.

The government of Kitex has changed its mind and will not send 2nd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division as it does not want to involve itself in matters of race.

The Großspekops landed in their remaining, outdated, Chinooks in Yacrania. They had taken time to get here, precious time. The Commander of the forces was an older man, Gustav Hammerlich, the old Media Minister for the Kashlinkovian National Press. The man walked forward to where Wilding was staying, knowing he would be there. He wished to have a quick chat over and situation, and outline strategy.

Most of the ops were using G3's and G36's, weapons they believed to be both accurate and perfect for the mission here. Something else Hammerlich wanted to get straight was, what was this war really for. Was it over racial extermination? genocide? or just the mopping up of normal rebel forces. Whatever the true reasoning was, his decision to stay lay behind the answer.

Somehow, only one sniper was killed. An extremely lucky shot caught his eye. The other moved to another window and took aim. He centered on a lower officer, maybe a captain or luitenant...he couldn't tell and he didn't care. He knew he would be killed soon, he just wanted to make one last kill. The trigger was pulled and the bulet was soon on it's way.

The Russians knew they were outnumbered, and obiously outgunned. A DP-28 team rushed to the frontlines, set up and began firing. They only had 47 rounds, so the knew they would have to reload soon. The others helped cover them while they reloaded, some even trying to sneak arond the flanks and take the Soldiers of Fourtune out from the sides. The last remaining RPG team took one last shot, it heading right for one of the FlaK 88's. The crew, which was using the 88 as an anti-personnel weapon, died instantly on impact. This drove the Wehrmacht further, and they began shooting as fast as they could.

Before Hammerlich could even knock on the door, an intense argument in German could be heard from inside. "Vladimir, what is wrong with you?! I could have you executed for treason, hell, I could have you deported to the middle of the Antarctic!" Wilding opened the door to get his mail, and was greeted by Hammerlich. "You must be Hammerlich. Get inside, then we can talk."

The sniper's bullet flew across the battlefield and struck the Captain in the throat, tearing threw skin, muscle and the jugular whilst also throwing the man to the ground with his hands clutching around his throat trying to stop the bleeding. A medic rushed over and saw immediatly that there was no way to save the poor man but she did her best to make his last moments comfortable and within a few seconds the man passed away from blood loss and shock. Reports of the Captain's death as well as a small number of other soldiers under her command reached Eos and her anger at the foolishness of these rebels and the loss of men under her command threatend to cloud her judgement but being the officer she was she was able to control and continue to issue orders.

When the DP-28 team opened fire they caught two of the mercenaries in their sights and were able to cut them down leaving their bodies riddled with holes and bullet fragments. However, with all these losses the mercenaries grew both angry and tired of their enemies refusal to retreat and poured more effort in to stop the Russian extremists attacks as they continued to use their superior firepower to halt the attack.

The Bradley's were given a new objective and that was to terminate the enemy fire positions inside the buildings and so each APC chose a section of one of the buildings facing them and fired a TOW missile into their target, the missiles shot out across the streets and slammed into the buildings smashing through the walls before detonating inside sure cause massive damage to both the building structure and anyone inside.

They knew the battle was lost, and just as they began to retreat the Luftwaffe drove them back further, bombing them until nothing remained. Wildingrad lay in ruins now, once peaceful homes shattered into pieces. General Fredrick approached the Colonel and said, "I...I am terribly sorry for both the loss of your men and the loss of your officer. I feel personally responsible for it, as do my men." He cleared his throat, then took out a map. "Now, Director Wilding wants us to wipe whatever remains of the Russian scum remains in the city. So far they only control the lower half of this city and a port they captured. We'll be in heavy close quarters combat, so I suggest you tell them to keep an eye out."

"Losses are unfortunate but a likely possibility in wars and conflict. Their bodies will be safely transported back to our Headquarters where they will be buried with full honours. As for these remaining rebels who have retreated, how much of their overall strength do you think we have destroyed here as I will need to know this for when I form my plans" replied Colonel Eos. Meanwhile her remaining soldiers were busy either checking the enemy for wounded or embarking into Bradley's for the expected push onto the next target. For those searching the enemy soldiers any wounded found was given first aid before being stretchered to the Soldiers of Fortune ship where they would recieve any medical care they required.

"It's hard to tell, really. There's a lot of them, and that excludes snipers hiding in towers and apartment buildings. We've lost so many men to snipers that our new - and unofficial - rule is to blast any tall structure on sight. I expect their full manpower - with snipers, of course - to be at around 5, maybe 6 thousand men. The Wehrmacht will move down this street, and an armored patrol will meet us at Voronin Square. The armored patrols have a battalion of men with two Tigers and a Panzer. There isn't much of anything that they have they can take us down with."

A while later, the Wehrmacht was advancing up the street. General Fredrick ordered them to stop and take a break, and also ordered a squad to check the nearby buildings.

"I see that is good if they can't take out your Panzers then they certainly won't be able to take out mine either. I shall head back to my men and have them advance along the east side of the city before circling back around to catch them in a pincer movement with your own forces" replied Colonel Eos as she saluted and ran back to order her forces out onto the move.

Meanwhile a short time later.

General Fredrick was busy talking to one of those under his command and that man was carefully laid under the sights of Tanya Pavelovna a Russian sniper fighting for the Extrermists, she truly believed that this land belonged to the Russians and she would force out any foreign devil that tried to stop them. To her side was Aleksander Sokolov her new and slightly inexperienced spotter was was even now showing a little too much of his face to the enemy.

"He is in your sights why don't you take the shot?" he asked looking away from the Wehrmacht patrol to face Tanya. Tanya didn't take her eyes off the sight as she replied "I am waiting for some sort of noise or sound to cover the shot" just then a loud explosion was heard from nearby and she gently depressed the trigger sending out a shot at the man talking to the General.

"Come lets relocate to a new position" she said keeping low out of sight and moving along the wall and out into the nearby room, before climbing out of a window out of sight of the patrol and jumping across to the building just across the alley and took up position in the window and waited for the next target whilst Aleksander followed her and kept watch with his PPSH.

So far they only control the lower half of this city and a port they captured.

OOC: Alright, let's do this.

IC: At his desk, Vladimir's phone rang with Dmitri on the other line. "Vladimir, Dmitri, we have control of a port. You may commence with the shipment." After he hung up on Dmitri, Vladimir got on his satellite phone to one of his operatives on the ship transporting the weapons. He simply said, "You know what to do." With that, the operatives sprung into action. At gunpoint, one by one, they rounded up the ship's crew and tied them up. Using a small amount of C4, they managed to break into the bridge and take control of the ship. They steered the ship towards the captured port and docked at the empty quay. Exiting the ship, they forced the hostages off and into the hands of the rebels. "Try not to kill them," the leader of the operatives said, "they are property of Shif Shipping." He watched as a crane started to unload the weaponry. He broke into the first container that contained RPG's and their launchers.

"But Boris, how do we explain the missing crew," one of the operatives asked. Loading an RPG into a launcher, he fired a round into the side of the ship, causing a gaping hole. "Rebels or pirates," he said, setting the weapon down, "take your pick."

=The Poliz-Yacranian Border=

"More of them? Are you sure there's no Russians with them?"

Asked the Commandant of the Eighth Legion, Josef Wyntzsocki, peering through binoculars from the fortified camp on a hill overlooking the check-point, where the three Polizians in the entire deployment who could even remotely speak German were engaging in flustered attempts to explain to a gathering crowd that "Poliz Grenze geschlossen machen. Sie bitte Weg Ihren, um zu zelten" and meeting nothing but anger, disbelief, anguish and frustration.

"They're all clear, all talking with that German accent."

Replied the Commisariat.

"Haven't they heard we don't have anywhere for them!? Surely they speak amongst each other!"

Looking at the road ahead, a long, sweeping mass of humanity was shuffling towards them at the checkpoint. Men, young and old. Children, women, pet dogs, all flanked by bullet-ridden cars and trucks and buses. They had been coming all week, and the Eighth Legion had been forced to send them away. They had spat, screamed and tried to push their way over the border, and eventually just settled in a commune about a kilometer to the North, and their numbers continued to swell with the constant stream of humanity converging on this closed portal to relative safety. Unable to intervene, the soldiers had to hear the distant, eery wails of the ailing children and the other spectres among these haunted people. Eventually, word reached the regional Logistics command, and under the cover of darkness, tents, flint and canned food were distributed to the refugees, who thanked their tresspassing saviours with grunts of gratitude. Despite several direct requests to the Executive Council for permission to do something useful, the orders remained to 'secure the border against Russian instigators'

As Josef Wyntzsocki lowered his binoculars and began to move back to his tent, there was a commotion in the far-off end of the arriving Germans. People began running, screaming and ducking, there was shrieking as women and children were pushed to the ground and trampled in a thundering stampede. The sound of gunshots rang out, and the horde descended on the checkpoint gate.

"Open the border, leave Millenii 33 and onwards here to make sure the survivors get medical help. Scramble everyone else and tell them to try not to hit the Germans!"

He yelled at his Comissariat before running to his tent.

The three men on the gate quickly opened it, and people poured in. The Russians were in view now, there were at least a hundred of them, shooting all in their path. The flash of and crack of the comically long Mosin rifles, punctuated by near-maniacal laughter and RPG's tearing buses and groups of Yacranians apart echoed around the surrounding hillside. Vehicles were abandoned, the occupants opting to run for their lives, and the General Alarum sounded in the legion's camp.

[OOC: So I'm thinking I save as many of these people as possible, while getting fired upon, bringing me into the conflict, and my forces pursue the Russians to some camp or something in some foothills? or will that be too cliche?]

The leuitenant then promptly ordered the patrol to meet up with the armor, which was heading down a side street.

Hammerlich talked in his usual rough, Westdeutschen. "Ah, Director Wilding, good to meet you. An empire of sorts, in the form of a Republic once partially claimed this land. Some of your civilians are most likely descendants of Kashlinkovians, as most of the population of that old state is currently elsewhere, in scattered lands. We have come to help, seeing it as a good action. Against these nationalists, anything is comprehensible. May i come in, strategy needs to be thought through."

Hammerlich knew this was going to be bloody.

"Go ahead, those damned Russian snipers could be anywhere." Markus closed the door behind him and went up to a map. "This is where we believe the rebels are hiding." He points to Wildingrad. "They control the lower half of the city and a port. They recently made an attack on the Poliz-Yacrania border. An armored patrol that was nearby drove them back before they could cause any trouble to civilians fleeing the area. As it stands back in Wildingrad, the Soldiers of Fourtune and the Wehrmacht are trapping them in a pincer movement. The white lines represent Wehrmacht movements, the red line are the Soldiers of Fourtune, black dots are confirmed sniper positions, with the large black X being their last safehouse in the area."

"If your men can come in through the back, it'll probably break them so they'll hopefully give up. The port will be a little bit harder, because they have the FlaK 88's. Same as before, the Soldiers of Fourtune will attack one flank, we'll attack the next. We'll distract the FlaK's with our armor, so you won't have to worry about them hitting you."

OOC: In reference to the map, this is the side street, adjacent to where the SoF will attack. The building is the 3rd one down the street, right where the patrol turns right (their right, your left)

IC: "Leuitenant, are we still going to follow the General's orders?" Leuitenant Magaha looked at the private and said, "Of course. What made you think otherwise, those snipers? We can handle them, we have some experienced snipers of our own." The tanks and men continued moving down the street, some with the experimental Flammenwerfer 35. "Sir, movement in that building to the right." The Leuitenant ordered the tanks to slow down and said, "Check it. If you see any more mevement in there, burn it." The three Flammenwerfers moved up to the windows, carefully watching them for any signs of movement. A shadow in the corner caught one of their eyes. "I saw something! Burn it down!!" They lit the building and everything inside on fire in mere seconds, and stepped back and watched as it burned. "You men, stay back here and watch. When it finishes burning, come see us and report your findings." The squad then sat back and rested, providing a perfect opportunity for an enemy sniper to pick them off, if he or she were careful enough.

In the distance behind the troopers one of the elite snipers of the GSO, Tanya Wulfsturm, sat back in urban camouflage. She could clearly see the Russian snipers position, and the sparkle of part of the metal on his outfit, along with his outdated Mosin Nagant. She had her specialty weapon of choice out, a vintage weapon, the PTRS-41, originally used for anti-tank engagements, to shoot the treads. She cocked back the slick bolt on the sniper and felt the cold texture of her gun as she slid in the clip. She held her breath for about 3 seconds, but was too late. The sniper managed to pick off one of the Yacranian soldiers, but like an amateur gave away his position and stayed there. She released the trigger, and heard the anti-tank round hit the sniper. A arm fell out of the window from the building he was in, and he fell out the window, bleeding, crying for mercy all the way. When he hit the ground, his back broke and his Nagant slid across the pavement. Success she thought. She loved how she had literally blown the limb off her opponent. Some of the GSO soldiers moved up after Tanya's snipe and took positions. Captain Diethard advised the Yacranians, "do not sit in one place for too long, these Slavs are tricky." With that, the GSO troopers cocked their G3's, and G36's and readied to storm the Russians one building at a time. Hammerlich must have been pleased with these results.

The remaining soldiers looked at their dead conrade and said, "Perhaps you are right. We'll keep an eye out. We'll take this side, you guys'll take that side, I assume?" As one part of the GSO men started clearing, they too began clearing the very building they were sitting in front of. The remaining Flammenwerfer stayed back, just generally hanging out and looking for anything to burn. The squad in the upstairs floor called out on the street, "Clear up!" The Flammenwerfer checked the lower level through a window and said, "Clear down!" The squad came back downstairs and began clearing the next building.

In a few minutes, they came back out with at least 5 Russians, all holding their hands above their heads. "Not so tough, are you, you Russian swine?" The Flammenwerfer ripped a cross from one of their necks. "What is it?" "Probably something to remind 'it' of 'it's' old motherland...pathetic." They moved the Russians further down the street and one radioed t othe Leuitenant, "We need something to transport Russians we found hiding in a building...yes sir, understood. There'll be a truck coming in 5 minutes, he wants us to keep the area secure until then."

The Emperor hearing of possible wrong doings of German citizens at the hands of Slavic rebels, coped with its support for Chimairan and the Ex Kaslinkov nation, has decided to send a small Naval force to perform the following:

-Help extract and shelter dispaced German and Slavic Citizens who are victim of the Rebellion.

-Help lend support for the Government with supplies and other means of using the Naval fleet.

-Distrubute Food rations and supplies to the Post-Rebellion state. [if it happens to stop..]

the Empire has been ordered to not engage anyone unless first attacked. We remind the world this is a peacekeeping step to ensure that displaced Citizens and the Government have the proper support they need.
