Oh well, more glowiness for Planet Bob o/ Not every alliance was first striking at first, but at this point a "no first strikes" policy may be more honorable than wise. Proximus Posted April 25, 2009 Report Share Posted April 25, 2009 Well once long ago I was treatied to ODN, though the only reason you joined in defense was because you had to, Orrple was the target, and then you abandoned us on the battlefield with absolutely no warning you were surrendering and allowed half my alliance to be ZI'd by GOONS because you decided telling your allies you were accepting peace was too much of a hassle, so GOONS was going to keep us in eternal war anyway and then we nuked, over 2 dozen of my friends were forced out of this game because of ODN's actions, so no, I'm not that surprised actually, though I had hoped you'd at least be a fraction as honorable as I thought you were(which isn't that much to begin with). I'm "butthurt" because your alliance has always been dishonorable, but hey, always kissing the $@! of the winning side has worked for you so far, I'm curious to see just how much weight those treaties hold(which, you've proven you'll cancel if it looks like you might lose pixels) when people get tired of letting you join the winning side every time. Ok here: I'm sorry that ODN has finally stood up for its ideals rather than just kowtowing to a higher power. I'm sorry that it was obvious to you which side would win before it was obvious to us (because we honestly didn't know which side was going to win, nor did we care.) I'm sorry that in the past our government has signed treaties with people who have not opted to treat us as friends, leaving us in a place where we found it necessary to do as we have done this time around. Of all the allies that we $@blocked on this, only IRON was pissed. UPN, Legion, Invicta.. they understood and were just fine with it, because they were true friends. I'm not sure if CON is aware there is a war.. can't find them. You're more pissed about the past right now than UPN or Legion is about the present, don't you think it's time to let go?
