Don't be such a hypocrite. In a war you will use what advantages you have to win. Nothing more, nothing less. The Beijing Doctrine is more of guidelines. We want to use our weapons we can if the company votes for it. If we were so umm what you say "evil" we would have lobbed nukes at them. And am I being a threat to Asia? There’s a chance the Northern Empire and Beijing can salvage this situation if certain countries like the IA stop trying to escalate that situation, as they often tend to do. Considering that in the history of the Imperium we have never once been in an offensive war, we fail to see how the situation is being 'escalated' by asking other nations to stay out of a conflict. This is an unnecessary war, and one that could have easily been avoided if The Northern Empire could have simply sat down with representatives from the Beijing Corporation and discussed the best way to go forward. It seems that The Northern Empire are nothing more than fools seeking more territory and growing bored with the state of relative peace in the world at this particular moment. With the recent attempted revolution in The Northern Empire by Communists and Socialists, it is most certainly possible that the Northern Empire is using war as a means to distract its citizens with feelings of nationalism and having them concentrate on foreigners rather than fixing their own country by violent revolution. The Northern Empire knows not how to run their own nation within itself, so why does she attack those outwith her for not running their nations properly? The craters made for cover, but with the ground levelled they were open targets. remaining mines and fires caused some casualties to units attempting to take positions. The only way to continue the breaching of the shore was to go trench by trench. Skilled Marines were the first to go in. Under thier cover of ship and air fire, they were the first to die. The sandy shores made it hard to grapple as they climbed thier way to the trenches on top. They made thier way through, only to come upon the white phosphorus and heavily armed soldiers. The beach battle was not over. At the same time, 1,200 Paratroopers landed in the cities of Tianjin and Tangshan. The units were told to fire on any units with a gun. People in the towns were advised to stay inside. Any involvement or interference against the military affairs would face death. Firing took to the streets as mobile units from Beijing made thier way to Tianjin. Defenses were being set up in Tangshan. A division of troopers made thier way to the beaches and pin pointed artillery drop zones on enemy entrenchments. The beach defeneses would be surrounded. We did sit them down, several times for several, several weeks(OOC: a RL month). Honestly, its this kind of ego and attitude that landed Beijing in this place. We dont want land, that is not what we came for. As for peace, we invented the World Congress to keep peace. So it seems you are blabbering over an issue you have no idea about. We tried diplomacy, it is time to go further. -- -- The paratroopers continued thier capturing of towns surrounding the cities while taking out the fast moving transports of soldiers within the area. Airports, Government and Buisness Offices, and barracks were taken. Satellites overlooked the areas for any enemy movement. The transports hit the beach now that the upper ridge was being taken. guns were pointing down trenches rather than down the ridge. however, they faced mortars and mines which continued the casualty rates. Precision artillery and bombings continue. They have spread west to the towns surrounding Beijing where military movement has been sighted.
