I just noticed I had two of the same events too. +1 population happiness, -5$ income, and +1% citizen count*2.

So -6% income, +2% citizen count.

Not too bad.

Right before Admin changed the events...I had 4 or 5 bad ones going I think (maybe it was after)

-9$ Income, -4 happiness and less land I think

Prior to admin reducing the chances I had 5 negative events in play at once.

Currently on -$8 and some random negative one that doesnt effect me.

I once had two events with -2 happiness each

One event with a citizen count -8%

and a -10% land

it was horrible

and my economy is still in the crapper. Mostly due to my ridiculously high infra bills.

I lost 20% of my land once.

My recent two were earthday where the environment bonus wouldn't work due to GR, and the other was:

A plane containing some of your nations most notable and wealthy citizens has crashed in a neighboring nation who is holding the citizens hostage and refuses to turn the survivors over to you.

Lose 2 happiness, or access to affluence.

So I'm down to 63 happiness, boohoo, nothing too bad.

Option 1: Hold a public speech pleading with your citizens to remain orderly. Population happiness -2.

Option 2: Send forces in to quell the rebellion. Lose Access to Affluent Population.

No Response. Population happiness -4.

I have to admit to finding that funny. Politicians giving speeches in response to a problem causing population unhappiness. Isn't that the truth! :lol:

+$4 is better than +2 happiness.
