The NSNA National

Today, the territories of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, have signed into accord the Mississippi Compact. The Mississippi Compact is a formal constitution declaring the intended sovereignty of the Northern States of New America under the leadership of General Robert Wallace, a native of Green Bay, WI. Under the Mississippi Compact, all three former territories will unite as one to provide for the general welfare and protection of the people here in the NSNA. In a quote taken from General Wallace's inauguration speech the aim of the NSNA is objectified.

"...The Northern States of New America are, and ever will be, a union of former territories who stand together for the wellbeing of our citizens. We are... happy to step onto the stage of the world and be known. We hope to garner new relationships amongst our fellow nations, and are ever so excited to see the progress that can be made not only in our own government. But, even more so the progress we can accomplish together. Please, we do so hope to see foreign delegates in Green Bay, our Capitol..."

And so, it is with great happiness that I am tasked with announcing our existence. Please, feel free to contact our Foreign Minister, Paul Johnson, about opportunities existing within the Northern States of New America in regards to anything.

The Federation of the Atlantic extended diplomatic recognition to NSNA and welcomed a new state to the region. A letter originating from the Office of the President found its way to the New American government congratulating it on its position and offering a diplomatic exchange between Ottawa and Green Bay.

More importantly, the Federation has sent its reassurances that the New American merchant fleet will be allowed to travel freely between the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Ocean by way of the St. Lawrence Seaway.

In an official stamped parcel, a letter containing the NSNA's desire to proceed with the diplomatic exchange was sent to Ottawa. It also expressed the gratitude to being allowed access through the St. Lawrence Seaway. It would also identify Johnathan Oswald as the lead diplomat to Ottawa.

Signed, Foreign Minister Johnson

All members of the Anvil reside permanently in Green Bay, WI, the Capitol of the Northern States of New America. They meet with General Wallace bi-weekly to discuss important events and pressing issues. On every 3rd bi-week, general hearings are held in the NSNA Senate with issues concerning the citizens. Votes are entirely democratic, posing no representative democracy. All citizens are required to vote, on issues within their district, and those that concern the greater whole of the Nation.
