  1. Run Jamie Oliver (Chris Christie) Run! lol
  2. "The United States will not abandon its military posts in San Diego. We are willing to withdraw from Hilo, however such a move will greatly damage our bilateral relations. If Tikal insists on our removal from San Diego, which it has no right considering it was established under a legal agreement with the Palaven Empire and now is in unadministered territory, the US will have no choice but to consider the immediate disbandment of the Tikal SOSUS system off our coast and the US will construct one itself."
  3. "Well if you don't mind I would like to get right into the actual discussions. I know personally, along with my State Department, that Tikal and many American nations are not pleased with the current US European foreign policy. To hopefully ease your mind, after the fall of the Italian government the US closed both of its military installations in the country and relocated its EUCOM headquarters to Prague. The reason we continue to operate our base in Alvonia is because of our MDoAP with their country and our commitment to their soverignty being respected by its neighbors. The US will not open any further bases in any other country in Europe. I know the recent events involving the Palaven Empire do not help my words here, but the US government has learned its mistakes from the situation and will look to its allies and fellow American nations to settle the matter diplomatically first. Tikal is the US' closest ally in North America and it would be detrimental to the overall security of the Western Hemisphere if our bilateral relations were to crumble."
  4. Oh I didn't know he was on vacation... no wonder everyone thinks I'm a d***. I apologize to Lord Hershey and to everyone involved for this.
  5. PUBLIC INFORMATION (2/7) West Virginia The first buildings to be converted to clean energy dependency would be the federal ones in the capital. This would take about 2 weeks to fully install the solar panels and have the buildings fully operational again. Each solar panel would be made in West Virginia by its own people. The overall project would ensure employment for about 1,000 people. Solar is the fastest-growing source of renewable energy today and it will continue to be for years and years to come. The continued, rapid deployment of solar statewide will create thousands of new American jobs, pump hundreds of millions of dollars into the economy and help to significantly reduce pollution. Kentucky Construction on the new emergency operations center in Lexington has begun. The first area to be constructed will be the actually operations room. The facility will be able to accommodate 48 mid-high level personnel who will have live-feed coverage as well as state of the art satellite connections. Each station will have a computer that will have access to every national, state, and local database that concerns crime, homeland security, or disaster response. Tennessee The soon to be Nashville International Airport will consist of 8 runways and over 12 terminal buildings. Being a new airport, a significant portion of the land has been earmarked for commercial purposes such as duty-free shops, hotel and convention center, air malls, business center, food courts, leisure and recreational facilities. It is estimated that it will serve over 30 million passengers in its first year. Indiana The highway will enter the state via the George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge between Louisville, Kentucky, and Clarksville, Indiana. The highway will be 266 miles long. Various sections are rural two-lane highway and urbanized four-lane divided expressway. The northernmost community along the highway is South Bend near the Michigan state line. Ohio The center will be named the Eitan C. Zeira Medical Center. It will accommodate 400 beds, have a dedicated NBC research department, and be the secondary headquarters for CDC research on natural and man made pathogens. It will be a secure facility, with a dedicated security staff of highly trained ex-special forces. This medical center would be the first target for a terrorist attack considering it was basically America's life line in case of a WMD attack. Michigan The new university would be named William Boeing University. The education center would focus its programs on aviation and aeronautical science. It would also establish a program with the US Air Force to exchange students to better understand the need for both civilian and military aerospace capabilities. The university will also serve as the hub for space exploration research and development for both private and military sectors.
  6. Last time I checked the rule for inactivity was 3 weeks. Lord Hershey's last post was on June 21. I posted on July 16, well over 3 weeks. Now I am glad he is back and am willing to RP from there, but I believe there must be further explanation.
  7. "The United States recognizes the new government and hopes to exchange diplomatic representatives very soon."
  8. PUBLIC INFORMATION (1/7) West Virginia The coal industry in West Virginia has been lagging and has contributed to the high unemployment rate. Ecology experts are pushing the state government and the federal government to make West Virginia half dependent on clean energy sourses, namely solar power. Estimates for a half clean energy state is upwards of tens of billions of dollars. While this price tag seems high to some, the Department of the Interior and Department of Finance and Trade have announced several large grants and loans to the state to make this plan happen. Kentucky Kentucky has lacked the ability to swiftly and effectively manage emergency situations throughout its state. The state has announced a plan to reorganize and rebuild many of its emergency command and control capabilities in the coming months. The first project will be a brand new Emergency Operations Center. The EOC will be located in Lexington and will have the capacity to accommodate all state level agencies, several federal agencies, and representatives of the National Guard and US Armed Forces. The project is estimated from $5.5 to $10 million. Tennessee The airport in Nashville has fallen into disrepair due to the lack of monetary resources to keep it maintained. The Department of the Interior has granted $1.2 billion to the state to upgrade the facilities and to turn it into an international airport. This project will benefit the state and employment in one of the highest unemployment states in the country. Indiana The state has announced a plan to construct a new state highway that will improve Indiana's commerce and strengthen its home-based corporations. The project is expected to provide thousands of jobs, and the after effect of the project could yield up to 15,000 new jobs from various companies who would benefit from a new highway. Ohio Ohio had been lacking an adequate medical center to accommodate a growing state population and the security risks the nation could face. The state has authorized a plan to construct a new medical center that could handle NBC and mass casualty events, as well as research and develop cures for natural and man made pathogens. The new complex would be the largest hospital in the entire country. Michigan Detroit had struggled with lack of industry and employment for decades. The city had become a haven for drugs and crime. The Michigan state government had enough and decided to give Detroit a new image. They planned to construct the most impressive and state of the art university in the entire nation right here in the most corrupt city in America. It would serve as the stepping stone for a "new" Detroit.
  9. The military installation would be placed on full lock down and put under the highest security. A no fly zone of 12 nautical miles was established to ensure the protection of all those attending the meeting. GEN. Ryan Brody, Commander of USNORTHCOM would meet the delegates and escort them to the secure conference room for the discussions.
  10. Willing to hand over the protectorate to Cascadia. Under IC conditions.
  11. California, Nevada, and Arizona have been placed under the protectorate of the USA since the PE is inactive.
  12. CLASSIFIED MILITARY ACTIONS With the collapse of the Palaven Empire, the states of California, Nevada, and Arizona have been placed under the protection of the United States of America. The 4th Infantry Division from Offut AFB has been deployed to the various states along with the I and II Marine Expeditionary Forces. F-22 and F-35A fighters would patrol the airspace to ensure no foreign incursion occurred. An E-4 Advanced Airborne Command Post from Offut AFB would act as the C&C center for the operation.
  13. President George Heller would shake the director's hand and reply, "Please send my regards to their excellencies." Since it was early evening on a weekday, D.C. traffic would be jamming all of the major roads and highways, so President Heller and Director Rojas would board Marine One and fly to the White House. Once Marine One landed on the South Lawn, the two would disembark and be met by White House Chief of Staff John Oliver who would lead the duo to the Oval Office. Inside the Oval Office would be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff GEN. Mark Schwarzkopf who would answer any military related questions or concerns. The director would be offered any drink of his choosing before the meeting began. GEN. Mark Schwarzkopf, US Army
