Once our ground units have secured Peru and Bolivia fully and intergration with the Commonwealth is complete, not to mention clean up efforts by our specialised divisions already in the affected areas, then trade routes will be re-opened across the country. However, the main routes affected are those through north west Paraguay and south west Bolivia. Elsewhere, trade routes are unaffected.

Across Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru, 60,000 men and women had worked to their human limits each day, every day since the war ended and the cleanup had begun. Asunción and Concepion had been partially destroyed by airburst nuclear weapons to deney the invaders the cities cover and strategic importance, Camp Algere had been hit with a smaller nuclear weapon. UCBRN units had since cleared the radioactive debris from the area and decontaminated it to safe levels which alowed the First UHDRSD to enter the ruins and begin rebuilding with efforts from the UEEMD units.

Joinville, the only Commonwealth city to be hit by a major enemy attack had been turned into a ghost town from the gas attack and work was still underway from the UCBRN and UDMMSD forces to decontaminate the city and clear the bodies , structurally there had been no damage, but over the months since the wars end, many bodies had been left unfound as Corporate Forces picked there way across the city, avoiding trapped gas pockets and burying the dead. Disease had festered.

In response to the gas attack, the Commonwealth had destroyed Arequipa with a 500kt nuclear weapon which was deliberately detonated low to cause massive ground contamination. The city itwas was deemed too dangerous to even send in special units. In the end a call was made and the city was walled off from the rest of the Commonwealth until radioactivity had lowered enough to send forces in.

Villamontes, the Bolivian city which was subjected to Operation Saturation, a carpet bombing campaign against the city was heavily damaged. Whilst mainly local to the city center, suburb areas had also been hit. Local authorities, with the help of advance military forces in the area had been undertaking preliminary operations to clear the dead and rescue people once the war ended, but thousands lay trapped, surviving by the day and by pure chance. Mountains of rubble was the city center. The Second UHDRSD and the Second UDMMSD were deployed to the city to assist in rebuilding, search and rescue and cleanup.

It would still take many months until normality returned to the ruined cities and the battlefields of Paraguay were still being cleared of landmines, undetonated ordenance and bodies, but it would return.

The war with the Timelords and Confederate forces has exacted a heavy toll on the Navy and Airforce. The vast industrial sectors in Amazonian Brazil could rebuild the airforce in no time at all, but the Navy was another matter.

With the loss of half of the Battleship fleet to the ocean floor, and the other half damaged beyond repair, they were scuttled and plans were drawn up to replace them with Arsenal Ships, vast missile bearing leviathans of the ocean. The naval battles also highlighted weak spots within the fleet including insufficient armour protection on supply ships and smaller vessels within the force like the Corvettes. Major issues such as the semi inefficiency of the Aegis missile system drove Corporate scientists to develop another system that was more efficient than the present Aegis systems.

The sinking of the CSS Montevideo, the supercarrier also put into doubt the secure nature of the ships nuclear reactors in a combat situation so plans were drawn up to reinforce the reactor compartments with harder, more durable alloys to prevent a nuclear distaster at sea, whilst in combat. It was for this that the remaining ships were not allowed back in Port until elements of the Umbrella Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Service Division had finished cleaning the hulls of the ships of radiation and checking out the crews for poisoning.

With the addition of the nations of the former Gallia and Gallifrey brought into the Commonwealth, the leading divisions of the first and second heavy corps advanced throughout the land installing and constructing the same fortifications and doctrines across the new lands. It would take roughly a month to bring the new territories into the intergrated air defence network so whilst that was being done, mobile RADAR vehicles were stationed to cover the holes in the network. Whilst the military busied themselves with the defence and intergration of the new regions, the Corporation began expanding its operations. Using the same technique as before, the Corporation began buy out all major utilities and infrastructure companies within the new regions. In excahnge for a large sum of money for the companies, the Corporation also offered jobs to the workers with much better wages to do the exact same thing as they did before being bought out. The only change was the logo. It wasn't long until Umbrella, and by extension, the Umbrella Party had once again placed its fingers in all the pies.

The Corporation and Party were already swimming in surplus money from their previous endeavors, but the expansion allowed them to make much, much more money. The profits made would soon begin to be put back into the regions by bringing their standard of living up to a far higher level, upgrading roads, motorways, utilities. Every aspect of the new citizens lifes would be raised and brought to a better standard. Party Policy spread to all corners and it wasn't long until the people were once again settled and content with their new Government.

As stability and normality returned, Umbrella Defences Forces melted back to their new bases around the nation and the Umbrella Civil Defence Force took to the streets to uphold law and order in the name of the party, activily involving themselves in community building exercises and holding weekly community meetings across towns, cities and villages right across the Corporate Territories so that the people could voice any concerns they may have.

Umbrella Party Offices sprang up across the new lands allowing locals to voice any grievances about Party activity in their area aswell as suggest improvements to the service of the Party and Corporation.

With Brazil mainly unified, the decision was made to abolish the former Constituant countries that made up Brazil. Amazonian Brazil and Central Brazil were now merged together to just form Brazil with the Capital of the country no longer being Sao Paulo, but Rio De Janiero.

The mass industrial factories of the Commonwealth and shipyards had been churning out materials and segments of the new ships to replace the fleets lost vessels. All battleships had been replaced with newly designed Arsenal Ships, each capable for holding 488 VLS slots. In addition to the new capital ships, all vessels in the fleet had been upgraded to operate the new AEGIS II systems. AEGIS II had a 15% improvement on the former system in tracking, engaging and destroying hostiles.
