  1. This is a sad event but communication was rough post-Hoo. Bob going on hiatus didn't help as well. Hopefully, we might one day be able to get back up to the level of MDoAP partners but for now, it is what it is.
  2. Hypothetically speaking, would Zenith be willing to donate its aid slots to the cause (to middleman reps to PC) if both parties were to agree? I'm sure that would be a step in the right direction towards peace if such an agreement were to be made. Such an offer can't hurt, right?
  3. Well, you normally don't slap your ally in the face and completely ignore their request, for starters. Not to mention, it is awfully suspicious that a few government leaders, who just got elected, and another handful of people all leave at once, with no forewarning at all. I sure wouldn't be happy in that scenario as well.
  4. o7 Darklink for his dedication to put up with Georgethefrickin!@#$% for that long Congratulations GtG and Sparta! (Especially that GtG guy for moving up from not Spartan top 3 to Spartan top 2 ) /me goes back to raiding Tulak's safe
  5. Well, if that's the prevailing attitude in TPF, then that should be conveyed in private channels, instead of posts on the OWF which could be misconstrued as the opposite. At least, that's what I would do.
  6. You're also assuming that dropping the reps would make things better again. As some of the responses in this thread indicated, internal feelings in TPF about PC are pretty...heated so to speak (at least that's the feeling I get). Speaking from PC's pov, what's to say TPF wouldn't want to get their pound of flesh later on anyway? This war didn't exactly improve on what they had before. But, I'm also not a mind reader and just speculating, so don't take my words as anything more than what they are.
  7. Fair enough. However, it'll be quite a while before it ends more than likely and one will have to waste significant time/resources keeping this up, more on TPF's end than the coalition assembled. The question is, "Is it worth it?". If TPF feels that it is, well, then this will be an interesting scenario.
  8. Couple things here: 1) I completely understand where TPF is coming from here. It's a terrible situation to be in and surrendering to people you hate sucks. Some of the things that happened during this theater probably reinforced the bad blood. In fact, I've been in your shoes before. I don't blame you for choosing your current course of action, I really don't. However, that being said... 2) I'm sure PC could really care less which option you take. Door number 1 leads to them watching their hated foe surrender and pay reparations. Door number 2 leads to them getting to beat up said foe forever. I think either way, they're pretty pleased with the outcome. However, only one of those outcomes leads to TPF surviving. Think about it. Ultimately it's your choice but whatever you choose, make sure you at least have no regrets when you set it in stone.
  9. Really? I was told he quit and never came back.
  10. Heh, #unjustmassacre was fun, even if it was a mess at times. Looking back however, it definitely would have been interesting to see how things would have been different had the UJP won. Edit: At least twoc would still be here with us today D:
  11. /me does unspeakable things to Goose's lawn CSN
  12. I believe the next open date is... May 15, 2015... Wait, wait. Hold up, my bad. Hoo just wrote in HOO TIME in large bold letters in everything after February 14, 2014 with a small postscript of "Please don't kill me Kait, I'm kidding, I swear". You should be good to go after then.
  13. You mean you now have to put up with Shamed 24/7? Ouch. In all seriousness, best of luck.
  14. NEW is a great alliance and full of good people. Congratulations to both parties on the treaty.
  15. Heh, Happy Birthday to our Superfriends! \o\ Eperor Delta1212 o/ RIA
  16. While I am saddened to see the loss of more maroon trades, good luck on purple.
  17. Heh, if it costs the same as the original figures listed, I don't want it. You can have the wonder.
  18. The forum time clock is based on whatever time zone you set it for. The in game clock will always be CST.
  19. Congrats on the milestone! )): Templar )):
  20. No, actually, it wasn't an empty statement at all. And no, Grub's statement had little impact on us changing our stance about the terms. It's pretty hard to continue to give a stance when some people continue to ask NPO what would they be satisfied with instead of no war without discussing it first with the rest of the coalition. So I can't defend my alliance and my leader from your statements? So, when did telling someone that they're wrong become an indication that their correcting statement is false?
  21. Well, I'm sure you obviously know more about our allies and their opinions about the matter expressed in a few dozen backchannels. We were going to continue the war on our own? Well, that's news to me. Though, threats are a great way to help convince someone of your position. Why, obviously the best method of persuasion amongst coalition mates is to issue threats and expect compliance :colbert: Yes, some continued to make their desire known to change and go back on what we previously agreed upon. By making that known, the previously agreed upon stance of keeping the terms as they were was impossible to enforce, such, we as a whole had little choice but to find a solution that involved changing the terms. Yes, let's ignore your multiple snipes at my leader throughout multiple threads, including this one. Let's ignore your obvious bias and your spinning. Aside from those two perfectly valid reasons for my presences, the plain and simple fact that you were wrong and either willfully continued to spread such falsehoods or did so without knowledge of the misinformation was reason enough.
  22. It was about defending our allies and ourselves from any future retaliation by an alliance with a long history of keeping grudges and killing the alliances that have slighted them. Yes, I'm sure we didn't compromise at all. In fact, we didn't work with our friends at all. These terms are just a figment of your imagination. We're still at war with NPO. There was a majority of opinion against what we wanted? Your information is incorrect again. What we originally wanted to do was stick with our original agreement by all alliances on the front to not modify the terms. Since that fell apart within a week (and impossible to rectify), compromise was made in private channels into the terms you see now. I see little reason to say anything more than what was said, since you could just read the threads that apparently people have told you about. (Screw posts by a few Karma leaders expressing similar opinions to Xiph!) But then again, not cherry picking posts that you feel serve your agenda would be detrimental to your cause, right?
