1. Starting wars, stopping wars. Launching the largest nook in CN.
 2.
So what is the issue between TOP and the NpO now if not the running grudges from a long time ago? It is quite obvious that the NpO has a target on their back but I'm not sure what the cause of it is. Is it Random's promotion to Emperor? The Bi-polar War? To me, the NpO have kept a low profile since their beatdown so I'm interested to know what the reasoning is for their sudden status as enemy number 1 in your neck of the woods.
Sudden status?
 3.
Knowing the history between TOP and the NpO, I doubt TOP would ever have been an ally of the NpO regardless of what the NpO did or did not do.
You thought wrong. At the time, our relations were improving immensely and talk of treaties (at least within TOP's halls) were being thrown around. Knowing the history as of this moment though you're assessment is correct.
 4. Hmm well mine went on too long but I lost 153k NS this war. I regained 20k today. Another 20k coming tomorrow.
 5. Inside scoop for WotC, Karma, WWE, and this past war. Those at least were things I lead/co-lead as far as coalitions went and I like to think I'm a pretty unbiased person. Granted I'm not govt. so what do I know. Also could shed some light on UJA BS, GPA war, various Q wars etc. etc. etc.
 6. MK nations I fought were the best (props to oyababy who stood out above the rest). The 3 top 10 nations sent against me weren't anything special (all hit the list). The 7 sparta nations all hit the top 5 biggest losers in CN list (topped them most of the time), I believe couchmonkey was the only one who didn't (in all my wars) since he didn't get to take nukes daily. FOK nations both hit the list. Brigade nations both hit the list. I think there were a few other random nations too. All said and done I sent 16 to the lists, and 1 escaped. After the first week it was fighting on my own (goes to show that even being bigger then everyone doesn't always help) and enjoyed the ride down. 153k NS later, ~44k infra, 33k land, and 10k tech it was peachy. So ranking this war by alliances I directly fought in-game (best to worst): MK FOK Brigade The Resistance Sparta TOP did well considering. All said and done, having the most tech = fun. Having to do spy ops for everyone got lame and the probabilities are off in some of the stuff I tested.
 7.
forums and irc are quite different.
Yes IRC, is real-time feedback, people tend to lose the diplospeak a tad there. All and all a better median in my opinion. You're not making a better point for Gremlins, if anything just worsening it. In regards to the Ramirous hate group, ask Omas or inferno for the password and access to the list.
 8. Wow a thread where everyone is talking about me and I never even saw it.
 9.
An apology to World Class Ruler. I had hoped most of these posts would have been a rememberance of you. In that I have failed.
My intention is in no way shape or form to take away from WCR as I have had years now of interactions with him and am sad to see him go. I will point out what I have issue with.
 10.
Also to those in TOP & Co; Can we not make this another 30 page long Mha/Top argument and just say there were problems on both sides, leave it at that and wish each other well? enough already jeese.
Don't have revisionist history in a publication that is supposed to be nonsensical. EDIT: This isn't TOP speaking, this is me, someone who has had much more interaction with MHA as someone who helped write the Harmlins treaty and someone that has consistently been there for MHA in terms of military guidance and suggestions as well as the person who was directly lied to by MHA govt. and therefore insurmountably more disappointment then other TOP members.
 11.
The difference between us and the other alliances which pride themselves on Quality membership, is that we do not discriminate or require a nation to be a certain size to join TIO. We decide their membership validity based on their aspirations and personality IC, we look for rulers who will fit into TIO, instead of TIO fitting into them. I am not sure whether other alliances practice this method of accepting applicants, but I know TIO does. Raydin has high aspirations for TIO as do we all, just he is more open to sharing it with the public than the rest of us probably are. Thank you for all the questions guys . Like a press conference; quite cool.
Yah that's pretty much how the members of ex-citadel did it..... I know in Gremlins we never required a nation to be a certain size, vouching got you the ability to apply. In TOP you don't have to be a certain size to join. Pretty sure FCC, Umbrella, and Argent are all the same way. We all seek members who will be a good fit for our respective alliances. Hence one reason why I vote no on most applicants. I'll gladly vote "No" on someone who is 100k+ that would mess up our culture just as easily as someone who is 0 strength.
 12.
As chief negotiator and most tireless advocate of the Order at the End of the Universe Treaty and MHA relations in the NPO let me welcome you to the Jaded with MHA club.
Yah but you're NPO, your opinion doesn't matter
 13.
Harmless Paradox By: Dynasty This month we saw us cancel on our long time ally and friend, the Order of the Paradox. This cancellation was mostly brought on by TOP’s actions during the war, mainly those of aiding GGA nations, which we were at war with. Since then, relations between us have been deteriorating, and the recent cancellation of our treaty is just the latest piece of that deterioration. While we may no longer be allies and treaty partners, and while we may have many disagreements to resolve, I know many of us still have friends over in TOP, especially because of the large number of former Grämlins in TOP. As such, we wish them the best, and we hope that one day we may once again, be able to be friends.
By: LiquidMercury This month we saw the treaty between MHA and TOP cancelled. MHA decided to declare on TOP's direct allies in a coalition war after lying about it to coalition members and TOP government. TOP, in it's arrogance, decided to aid the entire coalition so as to possibly extend their future and wartime coalition against insurmountable odds (that we absolutely brought against ourselves). While we may no longer be allies and treaty partners, and while we do have many disagreements which are unlikely to be resolved anytime soon, I know many of us were friends, once. Especially the large number of former Grämlins who built the relationship with MHA in their tenure at Grämlins and even helped write the treaty that can't be cancelled are now residing in TOP. Those same members took the knife in the back threw it on the ground and walked away. As such, this Ex-Gre member, this TOP member, this most stalwart of MHA lobbyists in all arenas and for awhile there one of their biggest recruiters (hey I got a lot of spam messages about alliances while #1) is absolutely most disappointed in you, whom I always called my brothers. EDIT: grammar
 14.
LM was and still is some burnout reject from the Karma war that we took in as a favour to Chill. He was not nor is he now, a LEAD member.
True story.
 15.
Do you remember saying that for every NPO nation who didn't leave peace mode, reps would be added, in addition to the other reps and terms, which you were not willing to tell NPO about? You don't remember the "pre-terms"? There were several threads about this, and it was a long time ago. I've found some of the threads, and if you want to see the others, you can look them up yourself. I don't recall the Karma side using the term Unconditional Surrender", but it was used on the NPO side, because that's what was being required - do anything Karma asked. Step one, before NPO would even learn what the other terms would be, was to bring all nations out of peace mode where they could be knocked down. After that, then they would give out the rest of the terms. The entire reason these were called "pre-terms" is because the rest of the terms hadn't been given out. NPO was being asked to start following Karma's orders, beginning with "let us nuke your banks", and the rest of the terms would be given later. That's unconditional surrender.
The reason they were called pre-terms is because NPO termed them so. We did simply what Moo did in prior instances of reading one term out then when it was agreed upon reading the next out. We never made it past term 4 (leaving of PM), that is why the pre-terms were never finished. That being said, it differs from this situation. IRON is being asked to take a mystery box of concessions, NPO was not. NPO was not asked to surrender unconditionally, you were read the terms (you as in the govt of NPO), the ones past the pre-terms i.e. before the full weight of karma came down, multiple times. Those terms were revised multiple times as the negotiations went on, but after the pre-terms on behalf of OV were read that were not finished due their stylized nature after moo, the terms were given in full each time. But there was no unconditional surrendering, there was no mystery box surprise (except for maybe Xiphosis temperment ).
 16.
How did you came up with that? I never said anything about that, not even remotely close.
Your as in the critics of ex-gre who left. And amazingly enough, just after I posted that 2-3 people used that argument.
 17.
I tend to agree. I was just as infuriated when former members of the Legion decided to bash us and lament our "passing". LM may have some very valid reason for leaving, but if he's not going to explain it he shouldn't bring it up. It accomplishes nothing. There are plenty of things to bash Gramlins about without talking about them like they're a rebellious adolescent.
My reasons for leaving are irrelevant to the state of Gremlins now and a separate matter. Afaik, the only people that even know are the people involved (myself and another), the Archons during that time period, and TOP's voting council when I applied. It'll stay that way and as I said, it is irrelevant to this discussion and different then why other people left. That being said, I can lament how the alliance has turned.
 18.
Trust me, my friend, I have dealt with enough situations in need of repair to know that it is not black and white. It just seems to me that within the context of an alliance on this (OOC)game(OOC), if you claim your heart is one place, while you are another, then questioning the reality of that heart vs the drama of using the word heart, is legitimate. I suppose I am just annoyed at seeing sentimentality used to bash an alliance, when that sentimentality is dubious at best.
Rush, when you have this many long-time members of Gre, founders of Gre, ex-gov of Gre, and original members of Gre all saying the same thing, do you not think that maybe there is a hint of truth to it? Impero - I agree whole heartedly.
 19.
Regardless of the current real, or perceived state of Gremlins, I find it amusing to watch former members bash the present version. The day that each and every one of you former Gremlins decided to leave the alliance, you forfeit the right to call it home. If it were your heart and hearth, you would not have left. This situation is not akin to an 18 year old child leaving the nest, and 40 years later returning to the hometown to bask in the memories of his past. (OOC:)This game does not have requirements of striking out to build your own life.(OOC) Each and every one of you who left rather than fix whatever was wrong, played a role in this deterioration. Those who were left, were left to seek out their own direction, and in their own mold. We can like their direction, or we can dislike it, that choice is to the individual. But for former members to lament the current state, at least in my view, is BS at its finest. You do not walk away from your heart. You just dont.
As I said, you and all critics of former members do not know what went on past the surface and most don't even know the surface. Your analogy is also pretty bad for the sense that most of us aren't just members that left, most of us are multi-year govt people and in the case of syz, founder that left. It's more then just a home we grew up in. It's something we built. It's more like [ooc] Dave Thomas building up Wendy's from scratch then watching it be turned into a place that uses trans fat in everything and goes for the bottom line instead of quality burgers (as quality as burgers can be from a fast food restaurant) upon retirement/death.[ooc] Surrounding my own personal leaving, it actually had nothing to do with Ramirus (he and I traditionally have gotten on quite well I even gave him a shiny medal that had never before been awarded) but I won't be going into that.
 20.
I don't think that is funny nor sad at all. Gremlins have always supported TOP (I'm not gonna say anything about TOP's treaty partners because we all know what happened, by both sides I guess), so I think it's quite sad that TOP is know openly and massively bashing Gremlins. If the table's were turned I doubt Gremlins would bash TOP so openly and massively.
What's sad is how Gremlins has deteriorated. You've got most of the original core left, one founder deleted just recently, another one here at TOP, a good amount of ex-gov from Gremlins here at TOP and other various places (Bob's over at VE). Sadly what I always considered my heart and hearth is now no more. I think many of us feel that way and are truly distraught in what we built up, died. Your argument of course is "well you shouldn't have left if you cared so much." My response is of course, you know very little of what happened.
 21.
In the Karma war, the Karma forces asked NPO for unconditional surrender. They didn't get it.
Really? We did? Hmm I sure don't remember writing that into any of the versions of terms. But what do I know....
 22.
As something of an expert on coup d'etats in Polar, there was realistically very little they could have done.
I miss Doitzel in Polar. Then the world would of run right this war. While I'm no expert in coups I do feel as though something could of been done to prevent that.
