1.
Well haven't we brought out the NG party bus to this thread. Thank you for the clarification....seriously. I love being called a bad boy though, first time! With that said I think you'll find that some of us are quite reasonable in resolving things such as this where obviously we were in the wrong. With that said, every alliance has your new-found policy. The reason why most attempt diplomacy first is no one likes to face the ramifications of attacking and alliance for a noob raid or two. The irony is, in NG-Hive's case, you turned down attacks on the raider and instead preferred the cash. You chose diplomacy over attacking him. I wonder if this isn't chest puffing more than a future reality, though that's not mean to provoke you.
As nutkase mentioned, it was up to he who was raided. And as I mentioned to you, while our regular members (and yours) would most likely prefer a continued duel, a newer nation, who hasn't grown bored, will tend to prefer reps - still thinking X mil is a whole lot of monies, not realizing that in a few short months they'll be wishing for something to do. Now if someone raided me, I'd of course invite them to a tea party pass on monies, and raise the white flag as the very peaceful nation that I am.
 2. Thank god this is done. This was the single most obnoxious treaty in the cyberworld. Even more so than VE-GOD.
 3.
Being allowed to surrender can hardly be considered a gift, and paying reparations seems like something that happens when an aggressor loses a war. Sure, a true predator would want more, I can understand your hunger.
Being allowed to surrender can be considered a gift if you look through the history, unfortunately. Between disbandments, heinous reps for those being attacked, and various other terms, white peace is indeed a gift. Many seem to forget that.
 4.
"I if the other 3/6 are not coordinating" On most of the targets they was coordination. We also had much worse than 3:1 odds.
Obviously I'm speaking on the individual level. Outside of the first wave and even in the first wave since MHA was the defending alliance - you had 3:1 odds due to the slot limitations. That being said, congrats on peace and all that jazz.
 5.
Have you ever tried getting 400+ people doing the exact same thing? While some are on the worst side of the earth for update? If you have than thank you for lying to the OWF.
I've gotten many more than 400+ people doing the exact same thing....multiple times. You continue to come up with excuses to MHA's poor performance that have no merit. Try again.
 6.
Good sir, all the military readiness means nothing In the face of unbeatable odds. Unless the MHA was going to pull a Polar and put 60%+ Into peacemode I am surprised this didn't end earlier.
Good sir. You are wrong. Military readiness means the world - this is why "elite" alliances that cater to active, high tiered nations tend to be so potent in war. 2 coordinating nations with tech can absolutely handle 3 or 6 nations depending on the wave if the other 3/6 are not coordinating. MHA is simply terrible at war. Always have been.
 7.
Why would anyone (who didn't have to out of necessity), go to a place where the goal is to socialize with people from TOP or the Gramlins leadership? It would seem there would always be more fun activities available to the typical CN inhabitant ... like going to the dentist, or an IRS audit, or simply punching yourself in the groin repeatedly for an hour.
I'm always interested what people may have against Gre's govt. Feel free to let us know!
 8.
Well said. The usage of a sledgehammer to crush smaller alliances might seem like fun now, but when those nation rulers quit this world to go find another place to have fun on a slightly more fair footing, perhaps you'll see the error of your BLOC-ish ways. I hate this war in exactly the same way I hated NPO hegemony. It's just folks showing me the absolute worst humanity has to offer: "might makes right, and forget honor, courage, or valor". If that's what Bob has become about again, you can count me out. I will continue to fight on for the sake of The Apparatus (I've still got quite a few nukes left), but after that, don't worry, you won't be seeing me around anymore. You've proven your point: it's more fun for you (and others) to engage in a curbstomp than it is to fight on a remotely fair basis. Cool for you. No "wah" here. I've had a great run of 5 years or so of having fun playing CN -- but I can't have any fun attacking a tank with a toothpick, and I'm seeing that trend continue in the future. C'est la vie. There will be other games
You seem to believe that winning a war by statistical and tactical maneuverings and advantages implies that hegemonic rule will be imposed. This is not the case. Comparing that to the NPO hegemony of the past is simply wrong. Yes they employed similar military tactics (because guess what it's how you win wars here), but they also utilized a very totalitarian rule, one truly of might makes right. Nobody cried about it in reverse when NPO was beat down by 17 alliances (except maybe NPO). Nobody cried about TOP being hit by 23 alliances (not even TOP). By your logic those two instances were morally wrong when in fact they were tactical necessities of the times. Your response is of course that small alliances aren't the megalithic powers that NPO and TOP were in their respective destructions - but it is a relatively irrelevant issue. Why in the world would you waste time going 1-1 with a small alliance when you can get them out of the picture quickly, and reallocate resources to more important areas? Again it simply comes down to tactics and strategies, it has nothing to do with morality. Remember that this universe is dictated by politics - wars are simply extensions and realizations of said politics and how well you engage in said politics. Find yourself on the back end of a beating? You simply did poorly in the most important part. This is how NPO and the hegemony was taken down. This is why you have been taken down. Small alliances can matter, you simply have to stop being a pawn and realize that the statistical power of an alliance does not always dictate it's actual power; GPA for instance on one side and some of the PF alliances on the small scale spectrum - not being biased there are just very small member counts in most PF alliances comparatively yet PF finds itself in roles beyond it's statistical power whereas GPA with their statistical greatness currently in the #1 position and a good chunk of NS, in their decision to forego politics have also given up all their power (this is also why they were originally able to be rolled). If you want to continue with the moralistic aspects and honorable aspects of war, then I have to simply call you crazy. What honor is there in killing? What moral righteousness comes from it?
 9.
A great man once said History repeats itself, no?
A wise man saw how to beat them at their own game.
 10.
I can't disagree with you man -- I'm just dismayed at the dogpiling on our side of the war. If it was just GATO + VE, we might be able to handle it, and then MHA has MK now on top of everything else.
You don't go to war to be killed, you go to war to kill. Why people still continue to bemoan the fact that it's better to stack NS in favorable terms for yourself in a coalition war is beyond me.
 11.
Not necessarily true. I think anyone that took it upon themselves to shape a coalition did not necessarily need the backings of those doing the grunt work in their respective alliances. This war, for example, took someone with a vast understanding of the treaty web and individual grudges (and aspirations in NPOs case) to shape this into a curbstomp of Polaris/SF/XX (who, all combined, are well connected enough where this shouldn't be a curbstomp). Getting all these strategic alliances to DoS despite not being allied to (and in some cases not fond of) each other in order to accomplish that is the making of a legend. I have no clue who did it though, I would guess someone in TOP which leads me to crymson, but his posting makes me doubt that.
No, not Crymson. For the record this was not nearly as hard to get people together as previous wars.
 12.
Your memory has been weakened through time and putting ugly memories in the subconscious ... Sorry for this ... It was me fighting first round alone you and Jenavia (at that time your Senator but with so miserable war chest) ... At the end you were both just managed to keep yourselves alive against not many as you say but just me ... While I continued against TOOLS (Fishmaster and Thomas) ... At that time your nation was NSwise bigger much more than mine but again not comparable tech wise ... I may exit anarchy too ( even though I hope not), then wait me ...
You realize we were at war with 22 alliances - some of which declared on because they needed more people to cover me. There was no point after the first few days where I was not in war with 6 opponents. Also out of the top 10, Hime and EB were the only ones I did not fight. And yes I'm aware that Jenavia had a miserable war chest hence why I said he could not fight and it was me fighting by myself. Also Bob ftw with tracking stats in NORAD.
 13. 1) -71,655 Strength Change - Ethan the Lionheart of Plebeian Confederacy - Black Team EDIT: I'm not going to sit here and measure stats much more. Yes there is going to be a lot of damage on either side. As I've said, best of luck to all parties and enjoy it for what it is.
 14.
My friend LM you still have the chance to come on me too ... You remember well your experience along with Jenavia (you were with TOP then) and how it ended ... We see you again talkative after 2 1/2 years ... So come on ... My opponents initial NS before they attack me: Astrum: 146550 NS Coerci: 145052 NS Kill Joy: 189995 NS Bob Janova: 189057 NS Enrique Barrentos 210627 NS Mine: 276678 NS Enjoy the results now !! And be sure I am ready to die for Sparta !! But not alone !! Taking like Leonidas many with me !! Do n't forget where I am coming from ...
Indeed I do recall the results, I did more dmg in that wave of war then any other single person in history (fighting 5 people in the top 10 and one in the top 20) and at the time had the largest nukes firing in CN - also that was me fighting solo (Jenavia was relatively unable to fight due to various reasons). I think all said and done I did around 320k NS by the end of the wave and you were #1 top biggest loser at least once during that time and the other 4 in the list were also my targets hehe. Ah the glories of the past. If I have get out of anarchy and can still reach I may just have to come play again! I also expect you to surpass my previous damage mark simply due to your larger tech levels now compared to mine then, so props to that! [OOC] Remember though, Leonidas still dies [OOC] Cheers and beers.
 15.
Moral of the story: 1. An MDAP (bloc or non-bloc) is in all but name, a merger of alliances. I can't understand why wouldn't these alliances just merge since they love each other so much and willing to put their alliances' sovereignty under that of the bloc/treaty's sovereignty. 2. Don't ever sign a treaty with alliances which have an MDAP with another alliance(s) unless you plan to have a butt-hurt over your treaty partner attacking your other treaty partner.
And yet, in relation to #1, MDAP's seem to fail all the time, currently VE/GOD's did. Just like "eternal treaties" of the past, nothing on paper means anything here. Everyone does exactly as they want, some are just better at lawyering out of it.
 16. Before they could attack all your opponents* - yes I realize you got off attacks on coerci. Also you haven't been against me this war.... I of course managed to catch Jason and Ethan mid-attack, send Ethan's troops back, avoid all hits other than the nuke mua hahaha On a more serious note, it's been fun, props to avoiding a ton of damage. Keep in mind though you skew the numbers when you say 145k:26k output. You know just as well as I that their output on their targets is higher obviously than just the 26k allocated to you, and that your 145k is in conjunction with other people (unless you have of coursed summed up all your destruction directly related to you and not just looked at charts briefly). Damage output is always skewed in favor of the 1 versus the many due to the nature of war.
 17.
Yeah ... obviously
Oh come now, I heard you got all your troops sent back today before they could attack
 18.
OMFG, Argent, Gre, TIO, NPO, BAPS, and Olympus, awesome. [s]EDIT: oh, and NPO[/s] EDIT2: no, I said NPO already.
You were so irritating in another discussion as to your thoughts on this being a curbstomp that I decided to respond with a nuke. This is truly, all, your, fault.
 19.
Complaining is such a waste of time and energy. The whole theme of this war has been "aw $%&@ it let's just declare" so I could care less how CnG have decided to enter. My only qualm is that two years ago when TOP/IRON tried to attack CnG, MHA defended them. I hope that at least means something when it's time for us to declare peace. Best of luck to you ODN, let's just have a good fight.
You're kidding right? MHA snubbed their noses at TOP, lied, and backstabbed, attempted to make a deal to keep fark "safe",and after proclaiming they'd assuredly come in to help - didn't.

 21.
The war worked out the way you planned it. You wanted a curbstomp, and you got it. What do you want us to do? You're shooting fish in a barrel brah. We know you've got people lined up to hit us. Don't try and play us a fool.
You continue to say this is a curb stomp. You have no clue what a curb stomp is. Q used to partake in curb stomps. You're 2 blocs, one of which is the largest, and all the NS that is associated with it. It's far from a curb stomp....unless you simply think less of yourselves than we do.
 22.
Please, do tell me how ticking off our allies is going to benefit us in what was, and always will be remembered as, a curbstomp.
This is a curb stomp?
 23. No this does not mean that all will simply be able to join. Just because one joins the hive, does not mean they will be accepted into Gre. Being admitted to the hive will, after a period of time, allow for someone to apply to join Gre without a vouch (member-vouch is required to join Gre). They'll still go through the application process like always, they'll answer my 782 questions and they will be voted upon by the membership as a whole. If they're a good mesh for Gre then they'll be admitted, if not they are welcome to stay apart of The Hive, learn a bit more about the game etc. and reapply at a later date. If they are simply not a good personality mesh with Gre and it's extremely unlikely they'd ever be admitted than they will be informed as it would be lame to have someone just sit on The Hive reapplying to Gre when it's just a character issue that doesn't mesh well (someone like Ram for instance) and may be a viable member at another alliance just not a good fit for Gre. Elorian you can be queen bee. Just don't eat the workers.
 24.
The cycle is complete. Good luck to you, my Grämlins brethren.
It's not complete until we betray TOP.
 25.
Wait. You guys have had the Hive for a while, correct? Did you renovate it or something? Anywho neat program, I almost joined at one time.
Had it under our previous incarnation. Kind of just restarting it and giving it a new nifty set of graphics. When we reformed we did not initially start the hive up.
