  1. It will always be worth buying infra. As more people get higher and higher in infra levels admin will have to adjust the formulas. So the limit to not buying infra will be around 30k, and 16k will be the new 8k...ect.
  2. If you join a larger alliance they can usually set you up with a trade circle that will give you stable trades. You may not get an ideal set, but they will be decent and stable...which is enough to not make too much of a difference.
  3. I'm not sure how you didn't realize this on every other anniversary though. Like, ie, I know that mine comes on the day after as well bc I created mine after noon. You should have run into this problem many times before.
  4. I had communism my last cycle, and it changed.
  5. The problem is that most people come on here whining and complaining that the admin is biased or unfair because their nation got deleted...but they never read the TOS to see that what they were doing was illegal.

    Self-anarchy

I'm confused, do you actually self anarchy thuogh? Something is really screwy because when i deployed, i deployed ALL - 1 and was fine...sounds like a bug in the code.

    Self-anarchy

I checked this today Dilber...if you deploy like 1 man less than full deployment, you don't get anarchied. My message said (when trying to full deploy) I would self anarchy myself and the max amount of troops i could deploy was like 400k...i only have 74k. Something seems to be really messed up here.
  8. What? If oyu deploy all your soldiers, you don't get anarchied anymore. The first day I attached I deployed all my military, attacked twice, then rebought about half of my forces because I lost that much. So I was fine, the 2nd day after ujpdate I deployed all my forces but didn't get to attack, so all of my forces should have stayed deployed until either he attacked me and anarchied me or until I was able ot attack and rebuy, or until I could undeploy. But none of those things happened...so why did my troops come home? And what is the rule that made them come home?
  9. So I was attacking someone with my squad last night, I deployed 100% of my military before update, attacked, rebought, then after update i deployed 100% again, but was unable to attack as someone hit him before me. So I had 100% of my military deployed, and was waiting for him to buy more troops to attack, I wake up today and all of my military is back defending, I wasn't anarchied or attacked and couldn't attack now. I haven't been in a war for a while, since like the FAN war, so maybe this changed recently, but what exactly happened here? Thanks for the help.
  10. Anyone that says that uranium is a bad resource EVER is just plain clueless. I love my uranium trade and will keep it and have kept it at max nukes. First off, the income bonus you get while not having nukes is awesome, plus oyu get an infra reduction cost which does large nations alot of good. Plus I think having the ability to rebuy nukes during a war is invaluable to a nation, especially nowadays. Most nations have to rearrange trades during a war to get access to uranium to rebuy their stocks of nukes, i don't, and it's great.
  11. i feel like the aid wonder is that way bc they don't want new nations getting 22.5 million in aid immediately.
  12. If this is a massive world war, 1 $3 million aid package would allow that 1k nation to do just fine though right? I see your point. But isn't that the way it should be? a 10k nation should be able to outlast a 5k nation.
  13. Yes, I know that is exactly what he is saying, which disproves his point about how hard 5k+ nations are so difficult to destroy. If they are so easily bill locked (which they are), then they can't be very hard to destroy. His argument against the SDI was that large nations are already SO hard to destroy, so we can't make them even harder.
  14. So since 5k+ nations have much higher bills (quoted from you), 5k+ nations are easier to bill lock (quoted from you). If you bill lock a nation, you can effectively destroy it by keeping it out of peacemode and grinding their infra away. Does that sound about accurate? So no, large nations are not hard to destroy. Proven by you. Thanks
  15. So you just admitted that large nations are easier to bill lock, therefore easier to destroy...but are asking why large nations are so hard to destroy? Your argument makes no sense.
  16. hmm, ever been at 8k infra? Even though our infra costs keep rising at the same rate as your, our profits after taxes do not...I think at about 11k infra you break even and eventually start making less money as you buy more infra. And you aren't considering the fact that a 4k infra nation can be aided back to that level after a nuclear war...a 8k nation can not. And yes, why wouldn't it be hard to destroy a nation that has been playing for 400+ days? That only seems to make logical sense. Especially since I can be completely destroyed by a nation with a 3rd of the infra as me, unable to defend themselves in normal war, but since they happen to have nukes, they can wreck my nation. The number of rogues in this game alone should be enough to not allow this to happen.
  17. The point I am making is that there is no micromanaging involved whatsoever in nuking a nation, i should know, i've taken like 15 nukes. I signed on, nuked him, payed bills...done for the day. Thats a bad thing, even if it is on both sides of the war. There was no worrying if I could stay out of anarchy against an enemy blitz attack at update. Or coordinating attacks with different squads. I think nukes just become way overpowered once you get into the higher infra levels for how much they cost and what you have to do to keep them. Thats all.
  18. I have always supported this, but also making nukes much much more expensive, like in another game like this one. So before launching a nuke you have to think, is it really profitable to do this? If anything the nuke should cost more than what you are destroying as a young nation...not in all cases of course, but for a 3k infra nation, it should imo.
  19. What is complex about pressing a button to destroy your opponent? I can't think of anything easier, hell you don't even need anyone else to do that. Atleast in conventional warfare it is to your advantage to have a squad to coordinate attacks.
  20. LOL, what alliance bank do you know that are going to "systematically" buy a 75 million dollar improvement for all their nations. I'd love to see that. The follow calculations are assuming that this amazing bank has already bought their members the foreign aid wonder. So 75 million / 4.5 million per slot = 16.66 aid slots. So pretty much, 17 aid slots are going to have to be used to send 75 million dollars to a nation. That equates to a period of over 20 days to complete. That is one amazing banking system if you can pull that off PER nation. Also, 27 million is alot to any nation. I make about 6 million after taxes, so everyday that I'm nuked I have to spend 4.5 days just to earn back that infra. Multiply that over 6 days of nukes and thats 27 days it will take me to earn that back. 6 nukes do a months worth of damage...and at what cost to the attacker? Many times none because the nation is quitting anyway. Also, the other problem is that nowadays wars have turned into, "If you have nukes, use them". The entire war system is useless because most nations that have nukes are going to use them in the war, so who cares about conventional wars. That takes alot of the skill and strategy out of the game...the little that was there to begin with anyway. We need to go back to when nukes were a HUGE deal. Nations that used them were not only crushed by the enemy, but disowned by their own alliance. Unlike today when nukes are just a larger cruise missile.
  21. IMO the problem being corrected by the SDI is that wars were automatically going nuclear for no apparent reason now. With how big nations are now, there is no reason NOT to nuke your opponent if you are close to being on the losing end, so why not start from the beginning? The SDI resets the game to the status quo so that conventional warfare now has its place again.
  22. I'm not sure you understand just how devastating nukes are to larger nations. At your size..who cares, 150 infra can be replaced quite easily with an aid package. But for a nation of even my moderate size at 8k infra, 150 infra is worth 27 million dollars, not easily replaceable. I think the cost and effects are perfect. Not many people will be able ot afford it except for the biggest nations, which IMO is a good thing. And trust me, it will be worth it to those big nations to spend the huge amount of money to get it.
  23. The wonders are pretty expensive, price reductions may be in order for some of them. And as far as the aid commission, you have to keep it as it is. The whole point is to not allow a starting nations to receive more aid so they can rocket up the ranks. It is simply so that bigger nations actually are able to be helped by their banks.
  24. don't you have to be #100 to even be eligible for the senate on your team? So how did someone with 3 NS get on there?
