  1. Looking to buy 100 tech for 3M, from 6 people. This deal would be without middlemen and would take 30 days total to complete, following this setup: Day 1: I send you 3M Day 11: You send me 50 tech Day 21: You send me 50 tech Day 31: Repeat? I am willing to repeat this deal indefinitely as long as you are selling. If interesting PM me either in game or on the forums. Thanks.
  2. There should also not be an 's' after "operation" in the second sentence.
  3. I was just looking at a bunch of pages, and the purchase/confirm buttons look bigger. I already checked to see if the screen is the same size, and the zoom is at 100% as always. Only reason I ask is because they seem bigger and I would like to think I'm not going crazy...
  4. I wouldn't have lost the bonus being on option two, though. (I didn't have nukes at the time). So what changed between options two and three? Basically I had my gov't at option 2 for almost two years now and then decided to buy a few nukes and switched my gov't to option 3 and immediately noticed the economic increase. As far as I can tell there is no additional increase listed for moving to option 3.
  5. Looking to buy August donation for 9M + 150 tech without middlemen. I'll need the donation at the time of my first payment, which would be as soon as you agree to this deal. I've done many deals and am a very reliable buyer. Either PM me on the forums or in game
  6. Found this a couple days ago, just got around here now. So, being non-nuclear I had my gov position on 2 to get the money from Uranium. A few months ago I got the Nuclear Power Plant and everything was fine until a couple days ago I went to buy nukes. Changing my gov position to 3 gained me money. While this isn't a bad thing, I couldn't find anything that would do this. I changed my gov position back and forth a couple times to verify the effect and sure enough my income went up by $2-3 a citizen in taxes. It doesn't say in any of the wonder/resource descriptions that you only get money for something by being in gov position 3 so I found this a bit confusing.
  7. Alright, as the title says I'm buying tech. First, I send you 3M 10 days later you send me 50 tech Another 10 days later the remaining 50 tech Simple, and clean. If you wish, I love repeat deals. Message me in game or on the forums. Looking for 3 of these. For all deals, the money will be sent tomorrow as I've spent everything today.
  8. As the title says, I'm buying tech. The deal goes as follows: 1) I send you 3M 2) 10 days later you send me 50 tech 3) 10 days later you again send me 50 tech 4) If the seller wishes, repeat deals are welcome I have five slots open in which to deal with. Please pm me on the forums or in game
  9. As the title says, I wish to buy 100 tech for the price of 3 million. To conserve slots, this deal will take 30 days, and will follow the outline below: Day 1: I send you 3M Day 11: You send first batch of 50 tech Day 21: You send second batch of 50 tech I'm also interested in doing this deal for a long-term period. If you want, many more deals will follow this one. PM me on the forums or in game
  10. The moderators used to be more lenient with the IP rules to accommodate family and the like, but this was abused very frequently. To prevent such abuse, they made the rules the way they are now.
  11. If becoming bigger is the requirement for nuclear capability, and growing is costly, then nuclear capability is NOT free. One way or another you have to pay to become nuclear capable. Nukes are not supposed to be a gimme. They take time and money to acquire, no matter how you go about acquiring them. These bigger nations you have been talking about have mostly been growing for "months or even over a year." Everyone has to put in their time. Just because the bigger nations already have done so doesn't mean the new nations should get a short cut.
  12. There's a very simple solution to your problem: If you don't want to spend 100M in a non-economic wonder, then don't. Buy more infra/tech and get into the top 5% that way. One way or the other you have to spend a significant amount of cash to get anywhere. Becoming bigger is in no way, shape or form "free." Hundreds of millions of dollars were spent by big nations to get where they are now. That is not very free. And yes, I kept growing for other strength and money. What's your point? Anytime you purchase something that's not military you grow in strength and generally income too.
  13. First of all, YES. OLDER AND BIGGER NATIONS HAVE AN ADVANTAGE! Who'da thunk it? Second of all, no one got "free nuclear capability." All these older and bigger nations had to become older and bigger first. If there's anyone who got it free, it's the people who used a massive military to jump to the top 5%. That took maybe $1M? So now nations have a choice. Either 1) Improve their nation enough to get into the top 5%, or 2) Buy a MP. Another point: You seem to act as if nations are forced to go nuclear. They simply are not. Nukes are becoming less and less used as time goes on.
  14. Another hole in your logic, Blacky: The nations with 20 nukes MAY have gained NS due to being relatively non-militarized otherwise. HOWEVER, 20 nukes rack up quite a lot of bills. Therefore, the nations without nukes would be growing more quickly than those with nukes due to having significantly less bills. This would allow them to catch up much more quickly than you seem to be assuming.
  15. Thanks for only addressing the second half of my post. The main point was that making it harder for more nations to get nukes is not a bad thing in any way. Nukes are the most powerful weapon in the game and thusly should be reserved only to those larger few nations. Addressing your edit: Since when is it wrong to have to work towards the top level of the game? I do agree with you that the people just below the 5% line may have gotten stiffed, but in time it will level itself back out. This happens with all updates. For example: When technology was reduced from 20 NS/pt to 5 NS/pt the nations that were very tech heavy suddenly were reduced significantly in NS. However, people changed their strategies to accommodate for the update and in the end it all worked out.
