1. I've noticed the player count going down by about 100 per day. More good, obvious updates would be a handy solution.
  2. The Kamchatka Authority offers its recognition.
  3.
Well yeah your abomination of a propaganda piece actually clearly explains why it's so faulty. I mean holy Jesus that could be actually be actual parody instead of seriously made propaganda. You do realize that in contemporary CN warfare between mid and top rank nations, you're always pretty much going to get hurt? And when more nations and NS is being involved, more nations are being damaged and more NS is lost. You don't have to be a military genius in order to launch everything you got at your enemy. You know this, right? Of course you don't. And anyways, why waste a good opportunity to make a "bork bork i'm a internet super laser warrior" post, even if it doesn't make full sense?
I think someone needs to calm down...

Kamchatkan Dawn
We must connect the land Speaking to the Grand Council today, Admiral Krasnoshchyokov stated the necessity of building a strong infrastructure for Kamchatka. "It is absolutely imperative," the Admiral stated, "for us to build a network to connect all Kamchatka in the sharing of the resources of our land." In a bold plan, the Authority has unveiled a plan for the construction of power plants and an adequate energy grid to distribute the energy. Furthermore, a programme has been disseminated underlining the need for a more extensive and reliable road network, and the renovation of water and gas infrastructure. Minister of Economics Yelizateva Saratova issued a statement reinforcing the Supreme Ruler's comments to the Grand Council. "We hope to modernize and improve Kamchatka at a fundamental level. It is only once this has been achieved that we may consider a bolder plan for the future of the Kamchatkan state and its people." The Authority is soliciting contracts with foreign companies to spearhead the construction process.
National Motto: Съ нами Богъ! (S nami Bog) - God is with us! Government: Military dictatorship Official Religion: Russian Orthodox Christianity Area: 472,300 km[sup]2[/sup] Population: 400,000 Government The Kamchatka Authority is run on the basis of military control with a certain level of popular involvement. Executive power lies in the hands of the dictator, the Supreme Ruler, and his appointed Commissioner and Ministers. The elected legislature, the Grand Council, has a minimal role in the decision-making process, although serving as an outlet for popular complaints and desires. Political parties are not legal in Kamchatka, and all citizens are expected to take up military duties to gain political standing. Voting is restricted to those citizens who are deemed to be of "good reputation", and is subject to a restriction based on property. Head of State: Supreme Ruler (Верховный Правитель, Verkhovniy Pravitel') The Supreme Ruler is the sovereign of the nation, with full executive power over internal and external affairs. The Ruler is appointed for life by consensus, relying on the support of the Kamchatkan military leaders and the will of the nation. The Supreme Ruler appoints the Commissioner for General Affairs, issues decrees, approves all ministerial appointments and may overturn decisions of the Grand Council. The present Supreme Ruler is Admiral Aleksandr Krasnoshchyokov. Head of Government: Commissioner for General Affairs (Представитель по Oбщим Вопросам, Predstavitel' po Obshchim Voprosam) The Commissioner for General Affairs is appointed by the Supreme Ruler to administer and supervise the day-to-day duties of government. The Commissioner chairs the Council of Ministers, suggests ministerial appointments, and acts as the government's representative to the Grand Council. The present Commissioner for General Affairs is General Pavel Chicherin. Council of Ministers (Консилиум Министров, Konsilium Ministrov) Ministerial posts may be created or dissolved at the recommendation of the Commissioner for General Affairs, who also nominates candidates for those positions to the Supreme Ruler. These Ministers meet as the Council of Ministers, chaired by the Commissioner for General Affairs. At present there are six Ministers: Minister of Foreign Affairs: Maksim Forbinov Minister of Justice: Dmitri Regulov Minister of War: Pyotr Polichastniy Minister of Economics: Yelizabeta Saratova Minister of Social Affairs: Alexey Kuzmitsky Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs: Oleg Sarchenko Grand Council (Большой Консилиум, Bol'shoy Konsilium) The Grand Council is an elected body of 150 members, chaired by its President (Председатель, Predsedatel'), which serves in an advisory capacity to the executive. The Grand Council is elected every eight years, although it may be dissolved at any point by the Supreme Ruler, by citizens of "good reputation" fulfilling a minimum property quota. It may also reject budgetary and military requests from Ministers, but such a rejection is subject to the approval of the Supreme Ruler. Political Organizations There are no legally operational political parties in Kamchatka. The Azure Army (Голубая Aрмия, Golubaya Armiya) is a citizens' volunteer force which also functions as a political body. Members of the Grand Council are, more often than not, officers of the Azure Army. However, the nation's highest officials are invariably officers within the formal Kamchatkan military, including Supreme Ruler Admiral Krasnoshchyokov.

  8.
The Kolchakov Proclamation Fellow citizens of this world, Today, we, the representatives and governors of the people of Kamchatka, gather in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, to issue this proclamation of the nature of the new government in Kamchatka. From this day forth, the Kamchatka Authority comes into existence, with the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, to be renamed Kolchakov, as its capital. The Kamchatka Authority shall bear the right of sovereignty across the lands of Kamchatka, and shall further bear the right to defend all the citizens of Kamchatka from foreign invasion and control. The chief and sovereign of the Kamchatka Authority shall be its Supreme Ruler, who shall be the ultimate authority in both the internal and external affairs of the Authority. The Supreme Ruler shall appoint a Commissioner for General Affairs who shall supervise the day-to-day workings of the Authority government, and present candidates for Ministerial positions to the Supreme Ruler for approval. The supreme organ of popular representation is the Grand Council, which shall be elected every eight years by those voters of sufficient reputation and age, as determined by law. The Grand Council shall have the power to advise the Ministers of the Authority, and to reject budgetary and military requests, so long as such a rejection is not overturned by the Supreme Ruler. The Authority desires as its principal aim in foreign policy the trust of Vauleo-Buryatia, and in the case of the destabilization of the Authority and the institution of a state of emergency by the Supreme Ruler, the state of Vauleo-Buryatia is permitted by default to intervene, notwithstanding the ultimate sovereignty of the Authority. On behalf of the people of Kamchatka, so be it done. Signed, Admiral Aleksandr Krasnoshchyokov Supreme Ruler General Pavel Chicherin Commissioner for General Affairs
12. Do you honestly think China is funding a space programme for the benefit of all mankind? They're doing it to posture, the same reason as the US did it, and the funding will dry up whenever it's no longer convenient, same as US.
  13. Hey,

Would you possibly be willing to detach some of your land in Siberia on CNRP as a puppet state?

  15. Ah, thanks. Well apparently he can't receive new messages, and [s]he hasn't made a post in this forum for a while[/s] fail at searching I was hoping he'd be willing to detach some of his territory in Siberia to form a puppet state.
  16.
I dislike the fact that I am in agreement with Cortath but in this case I think he is absolutely correct. Since both NPO and GATO agree that this is a sad but understandable occasion, this does not seem to be a resumption in their ancient hostile relations. Rather it seems to be the tried and true path which NPO has always trod. In response to the recent war, the NPO government initially raised their alert status from "CONDESCENDSION & CHUCKLES" to "SPIN DOCTORING". When the war further escalated, NPO was forced to increase the alert to "TREATY CANCELLATION". This is the Alert Stage at which this thread was started and was brought into play as mere camouflage for the fact that like GATO, NPO, too, has let their treaty with the Sith slide. Their next move may be to raise the alert status to "MEATSHIELD BARRACADES". Historically NPO has participated but seldom if ever actually lead the charge. Instead they let their treaty partners bear the brunt of the war and then partially assisted in their post-war recovery. This was argued as being fair and magnanimous on the part of NPO since it was NPO which wanted to prosecute the war in the first place. The final stage after that is "CAPITULATE-SURRENDER". These last two stages will be probably not be implemented for if NPO employs the one, the other will surely follow. CN has learned that NPO tech is highly collectable. For the TL;DR crowd:
Probably not; the Order knows how to spell.
