    I am not a friend of GOONS.

    I believe I did say "most", sir.

    All the goontears over getting nuked by their raid targets are pretty delicious. Mandolus: "Bawwww! I took 5 nukes off him!"

    That's like saying that a pimp is crying as he smacks his girls for not giving him his cut.

    Someone nukes us five times, we demand reps. That's not whining. That's laying down the law. I can't even believe the kind of logic you're using.

    Edit: Actually, I want to see a movie now where a pimp bawls his eyes out while smacking people. That would be pretty funny.

    I was hoping to see someone try to make a reasonable argument against GOONS here in the comments but I guess most of the readers of this blog are friends of GOONS.

    By the way, for those of you who read these logs and see them go from cordial to shouting fest as soon as Sardonic comes in, keep in mind that it took UPN nearly two weeks to negotiate.

    Also, almost immediately after, BAPS contacted us about another UOKMB member that had fled to them after the war. The BAPS representative politely inquired if $15m would be enough to take the nation off our enemy list and we politely agreed. The process took about 2 minutes.

    Now it looks like you have a CB to attack everyone who is plotting to attack you. I'll be interested to see where this goes.

    For the monster GOONS is usually made out to be, we don't usually just grasp at any old CB to go to war. The fact is we don't really need to start anything. If we want a war, there's usually a ton of angry and ignorant rulers who are so blinded by their intense dislike of us that they think they are totally justified in attacking us for any reason at all and actually having a valid reason for attacking us is only something they want to consider because of the political impact.

    GOONS likes to play the bad guy but does grasping at any excuse (and if none can be found, using entrapment) in order to wipe out their enemies sound like something fair and just people do?

    I wish some of you people could really listen to yourselves. Yes, I get that you feel you're totally justified in eliminating GOONS without politically correct means, but if you just put aside your own personal feelings and look at the situation objectively you'll see that we haven't done a whole lot that's really "evil".

    There were times when alliances did some pretty terrible things and got in a lot of hot water over them. These days, with those alliances gone (or neutered) and a really intricate treaty web ensuring that people begrudgingly get along some of you people are so desperate for some great evil to lay your vengeance upon that you'll really grasp at anything and in my eyes that makes you the bad guys, not us.

    I find it amusing that GOONS goes to such lengths to portray themselves as "victim", when in fact on a nation by nation basis they creative far more victimization than they suffer.

    Your reality sounds crazy. It's one where people portray themselves as a victim by making fun of their opponents' pitiful attempts to plot against them. It's also one where it's considered an excellent debate tactic to say "Oh yeah, well GOONS are worse than them so they don't have to be held accountable for their actions." And most perplexing, it's one where "creative" is a verb.
