  1. To explain... No, there is too much. To sum up: 24-person cage match, winner is the last one living. Losers are...everybody else. In the books, the contestants are chosen in boy/girl pairs by lot (although some will volunteer) from each of 12 Districts. Alliances and perfidy ensue. Plus Jennifer Lawrence is hawt.
  2. Yeah plus you know this how, based on things s/he has said or a notarized testimonial from a reliable and independent laboratory?
  3. I am shocked, SHOCKED to learn that there is a better version in the offing.
  4. Congrats on your honorary guest-dom, Cuba Break a leg Lux, can't wait to hear the anthem right from my very own computer. That'll be swell!
  5. I imagine that many are interested, if only for the sake of the spectacle that we trust will ensue
  6. How different would things be now if that's where this had started...
  7. Well I'm sure sorry I spent all those months amassing the 7k tech I had up until last November We were going to ask you that, what's next on your agenda? Love ya babe
  8. Yay, do me next! http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=62921
  9. Leaving aside the view (which I share) that nations would be...reluctant to bet in this manner, I'm curious how the payoff would be handled. Would you see having odds, for example?
  10. For a moment I wondered if that's what was meant, but figured "surely, that cannot be." Whoops.
  11. I think I may have missed a beat, what is this chart capturing, exactly?
  12. Don't keep us in suspense, show us the chart!
  13. Fiat Lux But hey Lux, protip, when you come in all half-cocked and unaware and bull-in-a-china-shop, let alone doing all this in somebody else's thread about their own idea, your community stock takes on a bit of a tarnish. The energy and interest are great, goodness knows this game needs an infusion, but try to bend in the wind a bit, get the feel of the place.
  14. The gulf 'twixt apprehension and reality widens by the minute
  15. If you are as new as you seem and if you are soloing this (as opposed to under/alongside somebody experienced...like, say Cuba) then I would urge serious caution as you move forward. Symptoms of incautious behavior may include ridicule, dry mouth, headache, and nuclear annihilation. Talk to your doctor to see if caution is right for you.
  16. Kashmir Kegels, the new exercise sensation that's got people breathless!
  17. Gonna go out on a limb here and suggest you might need to give folks more than a couple hours to help out . Plus what are you seeking, exactly, just the NS bands into which you'll sort people after they've signed up? I would think the ongoing/concluded/uncertain XP discussion might slow the rush of participants that would otherwise flock to this idea (which I do quite like BTW). So not sure there's all that much hurry, just my two dongs.
  18. From the Kashmir Sports Bureau in the run-up to Super Bowl XLVIII: We declare neutrality in this contest since it would be impossible for us to voice opposition to a team from Washington and equally impossible to do so against a team from Colorado. Looking forward to plenty of icy Buds while guys get lit up from all the hitting.
  19. Wait are we the party of the first part or the party of the second part, once removed? I shouldn't read here before sundown. Anyway yeah we like to party.
  20. If you put a drunk person on a tricycle in the back of a moving school bus, then crashed the bus into a building, then waited to see the drunk on the still-moving tricycle crash into the (crashed) front of the school bus, then did that whole evolution a bunch of times in series, that would sort of approximate this whole saga.
  21. Kashmir: better living through chemistry
  22. Peace and war are the inhalation and exhalation of this game, neither meaningful except as part of a cyclic relation to the other. Holding your breath for a while pretty much ensures that you will be eager to release that breath forcefully when the time comes. After that things become relatively settled until the next time two (groups of) alliances decide to have a breath-holding contest.
  23. Hey come on, useless and ineffectual alliances are people too, you know Also hello
  24. This relentless pursuit of cloak-and-dagger retribution certainly brings a welcome and novel twist to the game. Well done!
  25. I was thinking they were continued attempts to design the perfect guidance chip for running a flawless SDI Indeed, many thanks
