1.
The sides going in were pretty clear and Sparta "played favorites" just as much by choosing FARK and SF over ODN and Umbrella.
No, we just really didn't like your demands to sit out rather than defending Fark, our ally, to 'prevent being collateral damage" as DH's request so inelegantly put it. It had very little (if any) to do with SF, as the RIA/Polar tie was rather last-minute in terms of how long the lead-up to the War lasted, and was honestly a surprise to our Govt when we read it. That began the talks which ultimately led to the cancelling of RIA ties. Either way, I'd still back Fark over Umbrella, as at least Fark has our back. Lol @ ODN.
 2.
Yes, it is close to "Koine" or Attica dialect (Attica is Athens greater prefecture starting at the north from ancient Afidnai, south Cape Sounion, eastern Evia island and western Eleysis). Γειά σου φίλε μου! I would be glad when you come for the sight seeing tour!
Athens has some very nice Statues, as well as Art in general. Definitely going to be one of my stops. [ooc]Work doesn't believe in letting me have a vacation, so we'll see. [/ooc]
 3.
That Umbrella was wrong to follow the majority of its treaties, but Sparta wasn't. It's also funny that Sparta acts surprised about where Umbrella stood when Umbrella had made that pretty clear months earlier.
That's the opinion of one member, not the majority of Sparta. Quite frankly, the majority of Sparta were glad about the cancellation(myself included, being a big pusher to drop Umb), and had already brought up downgrading it long before they cancelled us. Why Luka even wasted his time to go over there was beyond me. By the time the request was made for them to lend assistance, it was fairly clear to everyone in Spartan Govt that the Debt Umb owed to us would never be paid off. We were tired of just being meatshields for them, and if they hadn't dropped us, I would've dropped them.
 4. o/ App Happy to see this upgrade with our friends.
 5.
Yeah, but Alex definitely answered my question in a way that would make my Yaya proud. [ooc]I've been to Greece a couple of times, but never was able to pick up more than the alphabet and a few words.[/ooc] Indeed. [OOC] I haven't been to Greece unfortunately, though I do hope to visit eventually. Of course, I have a small list of Ancient Cities/States/Countries I'd like to visit. >.>[/ooc]
 6.
Why didn't you write the English and then make Alex translate it
We did.
 7. I just love how the treaty topic is derailed by idiocy.
 8.
I disagree that "Γ" is the Greek letter "C". Is that how it works? Shouldn't you have just done article 1, or article alpha? Hopefully it wasn't just some online translator.
I totally missed this. Yes, "Γ" or "Gamma" is the Greek letter for C. Sources: http://greece.mrdonn.org/greekalphabet.GIF and Alex is Greek. As are a few Spartans, and some of us at least have a fluent understanding of Greek. The treaty is Ancient Greek.
 9. I am happy to finally see this posted. o/ Hellas
 10. @Marneus: I'm actually surprised google translated it as well as it did.

Preamble Sparta and Hellas agree to a mutual approach to the commitment of their members and their alliance in order to ensure the prosperity and sovereignty of each. Let us join together, to form the Greek Brotherhood that will stand the test of time, as we traverse together into obstacles that Planet Bob will certainly throw at us. Article A: I respect your existence, brother No brother disrespects the other in any way. Sure there will be times brothers will get into disagreements, but when that happens, both brothers agree to lay down their shields and spears and follow the course of diplomacy. Article B: Whose ass do I need to kick? An attack on one brother will definitely end up with the other brother kicking some ass. Any type of aid shall be given with no questions asked, except a simple "Whatcha need, bro?" Article C: I'll catch up with you later on that If one brother goes out to look for a fight, the other brother isn't obligated to help, but is encouraged. Article D: Did you hear what happened? Brothers share secrets and information that they come across. If any brother comes across information that needs to be shared with the other brother, he will waste no time in letting his brother know. Article E: It's best we go our own ways Sometimes a brother has to take his stuff and move into his new room. If it comes down to that, the brother must inform his other brother about it, in which 48 hours must pass for the Greek Brotherhood to be considered null and void. 12.
Haha, I love reading your posts. I can still see the QQ from when Luka made you beg to keep our MDoAP. The way you piss and moan, you make it seem like getting berated hurts even more when it's from someone you don't care about.-I don't see the logic there. You had no balls and got called on it. You chose your path and you also know what Sparta expected and why. Get over yourself.
QFT. Though considering the source, are you really surprised? I'm not.
 13. Depends on how much crap I'm currently back-logged with.
 14.
Bah. Now I'll have to get to know your particulars before I can praise/condemn you people again. Only Sparta could so cruelly saddle me with yet more work.
My query window is always open for serious talks.
 15.
That's laughable to the Nth degree DA. The only way Sparta can save any reputation is to remove Tulak and Adrian from power. They want to point fingers with no proof and what not that's fine on them... but its dragging the rest of Sparta down with them.
Except they wanted to let you resign and save face. I just wanted to put you on Tribunal and expose you to the whole AA and let the Equals themselves expel you. YOU should learn your facts before running your mouth. Especially when I caught you dead-to-rights lying to everyone in Sparta Command.
 16.
Thats a shame... a complete government overhaul is exactly what Sparta needs to return to former glory.
Says a traitor to Spartan law...
 17.
I would be happy for XX/SF to prove me wrong, in fact I would be estatic. I want to fight this war, but currently there's nothing going on because you're all in peace mode.
I can say the same about the Nations we're engaging in my range. Well, that and them having full defensive slots and not being able to take anymore declarations. Alas, I'll just have to sit in Warmode and wait for the ones whining about peace-moders to come out of peace. D:
