    i wouldn't say there was a communication breakdown. if the guy had asked to raid jason8 maybe we would have agreed. as it is, things got a little cloudy when determining if they wanted peace or war and it seems war was the choice of at least three of them. the nation slated to pay for their actions bailed on them so I'm guessing things are not well in that house.

[/quote] i doubt there's a treaty. from day one of this i made a post cautioning against expecting a traditional war. i think you guys are doing fine though, all things considered. it IS kind of nice seeing that the frustration is contagious, however.

[/quote] I felt it necessary to remind everyone, particularly NSO, how these guys operate behind closed doors. Already, they've gone from well-wishing and claiming they want a fun fight to falling back on the "no surrender" gambit, AND they've been shown to be deceptive by NSO's leadership straight out of the gates. As a bonus, they have you as some kind of spokesman. The two differences, that Kaskus is on the defensive here and seem to have no support for their actions, and that NSO is by no means a bottom-heavy alliance like GOONS, should be enough for NSO to win, I'd just hate to see them fall into the same traps Kaskus had set the last time they rolled out.

I assure you most of us in GOONS who were fighting wanted some kind of retaliation for NEW's repeated incursions into the Kaskus war, whether it be through blatant aid bombs or their members "resigning" and then "joining" Kaskus to fight with them. Something as simple as recognizing a state of war is more an act of committee between alliances who need to evaluate the possible outcome than something say, GOONS milcom could decide. Because there was not support for such a war, we simply had to watch as NEW sent money and soldiers to Kaskus and then money to us in repayment where we were able to prove it. There are maybe half a dozen alliances that truly control their own destiny and to call one out that has little control doesn't make much sense, as it has become par for the course here.
