    I'm inclined to agree with Goldie. VE is doing what anyone expects them to do, and support an ally who has gone to war. While I don't think it's a wise place to be politically, that's never really been VE's strong suit.

    There is literally nothing correct about that statement. MQ is quite clearly a real, if not formal alliance, and they don't have to have official ties to justify action. GOP declared an offensive war and that doesn't exempt them from the rules of war just because you say MQ isn't real. You can justify it however you want but you're setting yourself for a fall you don't deserve.

    So pure coincidence that within 15 minutes of GOP declaring war, Rooman was already bragging about VEs support and he even referenced umbrella. Just because its not asked publicly doesn't mean there aren't pages upon pages of back channel whining and pleading from TDO. And just because you pre arrange it doesn't mean you yourself didn't ask for backup. How do you stand being a neutral, good god? It's like the u.s. senate with all its hypocrisy and inaction.

It will be helpful, but my nation has money, and that's what you will use to actually build your nation. But that's your decision to spend RL cash on it, and if you think people will somehow think twice because of that, well consider yourself checked. You sound extremely condescending here, but I'm not shocked. I've seen all ends of the emotional spectrum from TDO. Mostly ones that reinforce the decision to declare war.

    I've struggled to understand why neutral alliances would play it the way they do, but now that I have a grasp on the concept, I hate seeing it amended to things it can't represent. Why even have a charter if someone is just going to want to reference it? #ignoranceisbliss

    That is exactly what every warring alliance does in times of war, it's what activates treaties and makes people fight friends. Any alliance could call itself a neutral until they start declaring wars, as none of them are technically at war yet. Just because 9 months have passed doesn't make NPO or TOP neutral again. Sorry I really see no gray area here.

    Neutrality in our world is like virginity. You have it until you don't. It is considered your defining quality if you truly believe that not involving yourself in a conflict is the best way to resolve that conflict, if I may paraphrase jerdge a bit. There's nothing wrong with being a warring alliance, but make no mistake, GOP declared an aggressive war against another alliance, when they were not actually being attacked. You can morally justify whatever you want, righteous or not, but the facts are clear. GOP obviously isn't neutral, they're exactly the same as CCC and TTE and those opportunistic TPF nations who struck MQ without actually being struck. It's a self fulfilling prophecy with GOP. They were "sure" war would come to them and they made sure it happened.

We've been awaiting the moment when GOP shatters its neutrality forever, and we welcome you with open arms to the ranks of the militarized alliances and hostilities and needless bloodshed that come with that. You have made a wise decision GOP, as previously you could have stayed neutral and preserved those staggeringly bloated infra numbers, but you chose this moment to flex your muscle, and DBDC loves your moxy baby! We understand you have a problem with the alliance known as Mushqaeda, and have attacked them without actually being attacked yourselves! Bravo for this, and fortunately for all of us, we also share a strong feeling with that alliance. Here's to open hostility and to your quest to get Rooman's infra down to manageable levels. o/ GOP

    There have been coordinated counters by Terran empire (104 nations) and CCC (88 nations) against the overwhelming global terrorist force of 49 nations. Your mistake is thinking you can somehow out-jihad the will of allarchon. Your statement is more of an insult to the sovereignty and effectiveness of TTE and CCC than a call to action. You also assume anyone on the MQ side will do what you expect. TOP is merely facilitating the smooth transfer of MK nations that don't wish to take part to their new homes.
