What is the STA's stance on the use of sanctions in a full blown, although not necessarily global, alliance war? Just so we know I'm not asking about Methrage because I really couldn't care less about his situation, we'll hypothetically say Mushroom Kingdom vs FOK! size war.

tl;dr - GOONS has a problem. GOONS has taken great strides towards fixing the problem. GOONS still has a problem but on a far smaller scale due to the actions they've taken in rectifying it. GOONS continues to work towards eradicating the problem entirely, which is something pretty hard to do when you're dealing with an enormous number of nations entirely new to the Cyberverse. Have I got that about right?

Different government members of Nemesis hold differing opinions, and mine was far more in line with what you heard, if not past that line. Alterego's confusion leads me to believe that Legion still haven't straightened things up with BAPS, so I guess I should help things along. The lack of a treaty between Legion and Nemesis was/is nothing to do with their ties to BAPS, or anyone else for that matter, it's because they are a !@#$@#$ terrible alliance.

I'm not denying you wanted it gone months ago. There can also be no denying your post in this thread is incredibly bitter sounding. They're not mutually exclusive.

Odd. I'd suggest selling tech to Nueva Vida as they protect their tech sellers with very few conditions if I recall correctly. I may be wrong, but I believe FOK also do this. RIA are also running a protection scheme for their trade partners on Maroon with very few conditions too. Essentially it reads like you're looking for a one man protectorate agreement, and those are the closest to it that are already established and would have very little infringement on your sovereignty.

I'll be intrigued to see which alliance you join, and what the final signed agreement with that alliance is. I'm surprised you've had so many offers that you're now confident enough to reject any changes to this charter given how very self-serving it is. The Attack Clause is the main one that jumps out at me and it surprises me that alliances are willing to accept your 'membership' with that section remaining as it is. I mean you openly state that you won't go to war with your allies unless you feel you can handle the target and their allies, and I find that there are people willing to accept this incredible. There are many reasons to go to war, and not helping allies when you think it might hurt too much to do so isn't a popular stance to take. Not to mention how long you state it will take you to help your allies, if you even decide to do so. Perhaps try one of the neutral alliances.

You don't need a treaty to be allied Potato, and both alliances have made clear their stances with wars against the other several times. Is Corinan keeping his FAC out of interest?

When GOONS aided a nuclear rogue in a war against Nemesis with 50 tech we were offered 50 tech in compensation by them. Inflation's a !@#$%*... Destroying wonders is terribly lame too.
